New favorite bra! It's pretty, comfortable, supportive, and doesn't poke out the neckline of my shirts like some of my other bras with similar support. Nora from MA

I love this! It is extremely light-weight, comfortable, holds everything in place, and I have already reordered more. The underwires hit at the right spot, which seems more and more like a miracle. Finally, the silhouette is very flattering. Alice from OH

The fabric is very scratchy and uncomfortable. I returned this bra. It does give good lift and support. Shape is mostly round. I was really hoping this would work for me. I am exchanging it for the Fantasie 4520 in 34G.

Freya Response: Christine, we’re sorry that the fabrication of “Gem” was irritating to you. Often times, bras soften significantly when soaked a few times in lingerie detergent and lukewarm water. Hopefully you will enjoy the Seamless Molded Balcony Bra FL4520 from Fantasie – it’s one of our best balcony bras! Christine from Angola, In.

This is a beautiful bra and does what a bra is supposed to do (support the girls) and does so with grace and beauty. I'm not sure if this bra is really a bra or lingerie posing as a bra? It's simply lovely and the most comfortable sexy bra I've ever had. Joy from Nashville

I'm not giving any "star rating", purposely. This is one of three I ordered all are going back because of size.) My calculated size is 36 (D6). Notes for this bra advise going down one band and up one cup. Ordered 34 GG. Cup was way too small, but more importantly, had no side support; fabric not strong enough on sides. For that sole reason I am not going to try to find a cup that fits for this style.

Freya Response: Patty, the Freya “Gem” style you tried is constructed with a softer fabric that clearly is not providing the structured support that you’re looking for. If you’re looking for balcony styles, you will most likely be better suited in our sister brand Fantasie – specifically styles Elodie Underwire With Side Support Bra FL2182 or Helena Balcony Bra FL7710. These bras offer a firmer fabrication that you will give stronger lift and support from the sides of the cup that we think you’ll be happy with. Thanks for trying Freya! This is one of the best bras I have. It is comfortable and supportive plus attractive. It is my favorite every day bra as I can wear it all day and not be waiting until I can take it off. I like it so much that I have it in several colors. Kathleen from Seattle

This bra is very comfortable and holds me in very well. It's my go to bra. My boyfriend thinks its sexy I bought it in the pink. My size doesn't usually come in pretty colors so this bra is great. Louisa

This bra is very pretty and feminine looking, something I really appreciate in a bigger sized bra. However, it gives me the weirdest shape and profile I've ever had with a bra. The fit seems perfect, I wear it comfortably on the middle hooks, but it pulls the girls inward toward the center. When I look down, it looks like someone has their hands on the sides pushing them together and pointing torpedoes straight outward. They are separated though. It's just strange. I definitely would not buy this bra again.

Freya Response: Kelly, this bra is designed with an additional vertical seam near the outer edge of the cups that we call a “side sling”. This is designed to provide additional support from the sides which helps to prevent your bust from extending beyond the silhouette of your torso, making you appear more slender. For a bra with less projection we recommend trying the other style in the “Gem” range, demi cup Gem Underwire Demi Cup Bra AA1363. Thanks for wearing Freya! Kelly from Westfield, IN

Pretty and lightweight but not cut right I tried 2 sizes sadly wide on the sides.

Freya Response: Christina, you may want to try the alternate style in this collection Gem Underwire Demi Cup Bra AA1363 . This bra is only offered to an F cup and is slightly lower profile than the balcony AA1361 that you ordered which may solve your issues with the width on the sides. Christina from Camden Maine

Very pretty with nice support. Again, if the cups were a tiny bit higher or larger it would be perfect. christina from media

I returned this item because it did not fit right. The cup both bagged on the side and cut into my breast at the cleavage.

Freya Response: Pamela, you may want to try the alternate style Gem Underwire Demi Cup Bra AA1363. This bra features the same styling and details of the Balcony style you ordered, but is slightly taller in the center gore which may accommodate your shape where the Balcony was cutting in. Nice full cups. A little tight in beginning but will stretch with time. Straps are wide set in front, causing them to feel like they are under my arm pits. Straps are made of wide, soft elastic. janice from california

This bra is very pretty. However, I feel like it runs a little big. I usually wear 28e in Freya, but had to size down bc there was a good amount of gaping on the sides of the cups. I also would have sized down in the band, as it is very stretchy, but it isn't an option. Great support, and I like the shape it gives me. I tend to point a bit outward, and this bra helps guide me forward. Overall great bra; I'm only giving four stars because I feel like my nipples are always trying to poke through the lace, rather than staying in the actual fabric in the bra. Maritza from Eagle River

This one didn't work so well for me. The under wire was fine, but the shoulder straps were too thin, and the fabric of the cups was to flimsy, not enough support for my large, pendulous, BEAUTIFUL breasts :) Exchanged for a different brand that I'm very happy with

Freya Response: Jay, we hope you will continue to try Freya in the future. For starters, we suggest styles Lacey Full-Busted Underwire Plunge Bra AA4791 and Dolly Underwire Plunge Balcony Bra AA1381 which are both constructed with firmer material in the entire body of the cup, without the lace panel at the top that we think is what you found flimsy. Both are available in 36JJ. Thank you for your feedback! Jay from Georgia

I didn't realize I was wearing the wrong bra all these years. I used to suffer pain and discomfort around the rib section with the underwire bras I owned. I took the bra survey to assess my body/breast type; this was one of the recommended bras for my body. It is so comfortable and I could wear it pain free throughout the entire day. Fits perfectly, enhanced my shape and gave breast definition, and pretty too! Got the beige and red; the husband loved the red on me. Aida from NY

Very pretty and feminine but runs very, very small in the cup size. I am falling out the top of this bra even though I ordered my normal cup size. There's just not enough fabric there. Can't return it because I already wore it, but it will definitely languish in the bottom of my underwear drawer, unused. :(

Freya Response: Lucy, you may have better luck with a plunge style from Freya versus a balcony style, which will give you more coverage at the top of the cup to keep you from “falling out”. For a bra with similar styling that may have more depth in the cup , try Freya Faye Underwire Plunge Balcony Bra AA4201. LucyZ from Chicago/IL/USA

This is a beautiful bra. The band and straps are very stretchy and comfortable, but still feel supportive. Unfortunately the cups are not the right shape for me (I'm full on the bottom and had puckering on the top of the cups) so I returned the bra. HerRoom was great and processed the return very quickly.
