I got this item after weight loss surgery. I had been a 3/4X and now am a 1/2X. I would advise that if you are in the "in between" sizes like me, i.e. larger bottom than top, that you order a size larger. I could not get it on all the way as it is definitely very firm control. I opted instead for a 3x spanx product, but after I lose more weight I will be looking to try a flexees product again. I measured myself twice, hips are 49 which falls under 2XL. Order the next size up when ordering. I'm exchanging for the 3XL and then I will rate the garment again.

Overall I really liked this product. It smoothed out my post baby body, but it did not have as much control in the tummy area as I expected. Also I found if I wore my bra under the garment I had bulging on my back around my bra. So I wore my bra over the garment and it resolved the problem. This is only the second body shaper that I have ever worn and I found it to be very comfortable but after extended wear the seams on the sides started digging into my skin. PS--It would also be awesome if it came in silver, like the Annette Secret Weapon--I refuse to wear the beige/"nude" color (with all shapewear, not this model particularly), since if a flash of it shows when you bend or reach, say between the waistband of your pants and the hem of your shirt, the beige just screams GIRDLE. And yet one needs an option to wear under light-colored tops. Even white would be better than beige. SR from Boston, MA

Love it. I hate to think how much shapewear I own and how many hundreds of $$ I have spent on trying to find the perfect garment that is effective yet comfortable enough for everyday, and doesn't roll or slip, show under clothing, or flatten my chest/butt along with my stomach/hips. This is, simply put, The One. I am back to buy a second one since I find myself washing it several times a week! Great for that little black dress!!! Great support and control! The only reason it's not a 5 star review is after wearing all day, the straps started to cut into my arms in the front. Nothing terrible, but it got quite uncomfortable in the arm/armpit area after wearing it all day. This may get better after wearing it more, since this was the first time I'd worn it. Like so many who have purchased this item, I love it. It is surprisingly lightweight and doesn't feel like you're wearing armor underneath clothing. The only issue I noticed after a day's use is that area in back where the buttocks and waist are sewn together "settled in" or gathered where my waist bends giving me a slight indentation similar (but less dramatic) than the look you get when pantyhose are cutting in. I suspect that my above average sized behind and relatively small waist played a part is this more so than the shapewear. It's more of a consideration for those shaped like me. This item was purchased for my teenage daughter for her homecoming dress. She loves the undergarmet. It fits true to size and she and I both are please with how it looks. Ladies, this is the one to get! It has a firm hold but is extremely comfortable and you don't have to worry about any "muffin" protruding. There are also no tell-tale lines on the thighs when you are wearing slacks. The split crotch makes it perfect. I love it! Susan from Huntley, Il

It was a bit difficult to get on (Maybe I could have gone with a Medium) but once it was on I was very comfortable and pleased. The material is lightweight and breathable. I plan to buy another one. This item is AMAZING. It works great to smooth everything out perfectly, and the over the shoulder straps make sure it will not slip. I am in awe of how well it works. If you have a large chest, the cups simply move to the side, which gives your bra a little extra oompf, but it still remains very comfortable. It also does a great job with bra lines in the back. I felt as thought I could never wear thin-material wrap dresses and this Flexees has changed my mind. I do have one WARNING: This little guy is not easy to get on. It was super tricky the first time. In fact when I first tried it I thought there was NO WAY I was getting it over my booty. But, I was persistent, and it went on. The second time was much much easier. My advice is to get one leg in and pull it up as high as you can, but once you do, it will take 20 LBS off....amazing!!! Good luck! Lindsey

I love this product and it has also hooked me on wearing shapewear. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the length of the leg. Unlike others I did find that it rides up just enough to cause a line under thinner fabrics. I am not a large or heavy person but due to my age am not quite as firm as I used to be. I received the singlet pretty quickly - which made me happy. That was the last thing that made me happy. When I tried it on, instead of having a "muffin top", I now had a bulge at the seam at the bra line. I mailed it back the next day.

It was true to size. I have a smooth line front & back, looks good with dark carpri's or a long (maxi) dress. A shorter dress didn't work, when I bent over even slightly you saw the leg portion of the garment, also in white capri's you saw where it ended on the thigh. Lorimae from NJ
