I bought this expecting to return it but love it! It isn't too firm and doesn't make me feel like I'm in a sausage casing. No rolling issues from top or thighs and I am wearing it under a dress at work (sitting and getting up all day) and did not use the straps cause I was in a hurry this morning but wanted to try it out. I will definitely keep and purchase also in the black. I have no desire to rip this thing off like I used to when I would wear the spanx. I'm 5'2" and 170 lbs pear shaped so this is perfect for me. Can't figure it out. I haven't worn a 2x anything in quite some time, but wanted to make sure this was not only comfortable but felt like it wasn't there. I couldn't get it past my knees. Unfortunately because it was a 'non returnable' item, it went in the trash. Good luck if you purchase.
