I was so glad to find the strapmate in a fabric. Other sites only had them in clear plastic vinyl. They are uncomfortable as they tend to stick to skin from perspiration whereas cotton does not. I use two of the longer straps (I purchased 2 sets), connect them together and around the front of my bra straps once my bra is on. Then I stretch them over my head and slide them down my upper back. They hold my straps in place all day. A couple of times after some months of wear (this is my second double set), they unhooked from eachother while I was wearing them. To solve this, I pinched both hooks and flattened them to be tighter. I have not had a mishap since. Robyn from Los Gatos, CA

Kept straps from slipping, but uncomfortable.

FashionForms Response: The Strap Connection simply connects the 2 bra straps in the back to prevent them from falling off the shoulder. It shouldn't be uncomfortable. The only possible solution is that you have them twisted or too tight. Judith from VA

The item definitely works but you cannot put it on by yourself which is not good. By the time I get the placement correct and try to turn the bra around to the front, it becomes all twisted and you can't get it on.

I got the Strap-Mate to keep my bra straps from slipping down, but it's not really any help. It doesn't even fit some of my bras because they have slightly wider straps, and I can't keep it positioned properly because I can't reach it once the bra is on. If you wear larger-size bras and/or aren't as flexible at reaching behind your back as you used to be, I wouldn't recommend this item.

Fashion Forms Response: This item can be difficult to put on by yourself, but no more so than hooking the bra itself. However, there are instructions and sketches on the back of the package that show you how to put it on by yourself by bringing the back of the bra around the front. The slot in the clasp should fit a bra strap up to 5\8" and should fit the majority of bra straps. Pam from Kirkland, WA, USA

I have used these Strap-Mate Bra Straps for years and Love them. I was so glad to find them again. I really needed them. I suggest any one that has trouble with bra straps to seriously use them. Super fast shipping, item came days earlier then expected. I tried the strap mate out and it was fantastic! Comfortable and it worked great. I was even able to wear tank tops without throwing on something over it, I was raving about this product!! .... for the first 6 days. And then it broke. Disappointed that with shipping this item was over $10 and it didn't even last a week. Great idea, needs better construction.

Fashion Form Response:We checked with Fashion Forms and they said that there wasn't any particular issue with this style. They also said that there might have been a few bad clips and they would be happy to replace them. You might also try the strap solutions 1990 , as they both do the same thing. Kate from MN

Finally, something to prevent falling bra straps that is also comfortable and attractive. I just wish they were made for the wider straps of the full-figure bras. It works for me but not as well as it would if the plastic connector was wider. A bit pricey. Linda from Lake Martin, Alabama

I don't know exactly when it happened, but I lost my shoulders. I haven't had a good fitting bra with straps that stay up in years. This strap does the trick. However I have not been able to get the longer one that hooks onto your straps to work. Very difficult to put on yourself, unless I'm doing something wrong. The little one you just wrap and hook around your bra straps is the greatest. I never leave home without it - LOL Linda from Margate, FL USA

Really liked this product because you can attach the strap before putting on the bra. I have a bad shoulder and cannot reach backwards to hook a bra, so I have to put it on, hook it and turn it. Sande from Chatsworth, CA

Really love this item since forever I have had a challenge keeping straps where they belong. Because my preference is an underwire bra to hold me right, just tightening the straps was not the answer.
