I live in the tropics and needed a slip to use under an otherwise sheer skirt. This slip provided the perfect coverage and is lightweight, completely comfortable, and launders well. It's okay. Not great material or sewing, but okay for the few times I'll wear it. I would prefer a silky fabric and better construction, seams pucker after washing. JCB

Cotton half slip. I did not like the way it hung, nor the material. I ordered a cotton when I wanted a nylon slip. I have never found a cotton slip that did not cling/ride up/around. Nylon hangs smoothly and moves with you.

Perhaps I missed the fiber content in the item description, but I was expecting a nylon slip. This slip is beautifully made, but the fabric is THIN and cheap-looking/feeling. I got it to go under a see-thru lace skirt and the slip is see-thru itself. I'm not sure it will accomplish what I needed.

Farr West Response: The 760-33 is 100% cotton batiste. You would probably do better with our satin charmeuse – it is more opaque. We don’t have a 33” slip in that fabric but we carry the 162-29 which is 29”. Marge from Sandy Utah

I have been searching for a well-made, long cotton half-slip like this for years. The length is perfect for the long skirts I love wearing, and the lightness of the batisse cotton stays comfortably cool on the hottest summer days. I purchase one in black and another in white. I love long skirts! The bright, sheer, Indian looking ones. But the skirts are often so thin you can see straight through them. That might have worked when I was 15, but not now. A slip that just comes to my knees looked wonky, and if a slip was long enough, it had a slit up the side; that looked strange, too. This half slip is just perfect! Right length, plain except for lace at bottom. Not clingy. I can't believe I waited this long to find it. Truly something I needed to buy FOR MYSELF. : ) Cindy from Lena, Mississippi

I had a winter white skirt that you could see right through and needed a slip to wear under it. I looked all over the internet at the high end department stores and it seems that no one carries longer half slips!
