I purchased the half slip for my teenage daughter's prom. It worked great and it will get much use in the future. Teens often needs a little extra coverage and the dresses and skirts are much shorter these days. I usually take a medium, but the large fits well. I thought that the waist band would be different--it's the familiar thin piece of elastic which is fine, but it looked wider or part of the fabric in the picture. I have been looking all over for a short slip and I was ecstatic once I came across this website! It didnt take long for it to ship to my house and the slip fits PERFECTLY!! I was really excited about this slip, because it was hard to find one that was just the right length to wear under shorter skirts and dresses. But, I've worn it twice now with two different dresses. Both times the slip rode up so much that it was totally useless and just bunched up all the way around my hips. Won't be able to wear or rely on this this winter season.
