When I read the word "molded" I thought that this bra was molded like the Fantasie T-shirt bra, but to my disappointment it was a regular seamless bra in a balcony construction. It has a sturdy construction but for someone with a round bust, this style makes them spill out a little over the top- bad under a T-shirt. If you don't mind some nipple show-through this might work for you. Not what I was looking for- will have to return.

HerRoom Response: Molded means the shape of the cup has been created by placing the fabric over a mold. A contour bra is molded, but the cups are also lined with a thin layer of padding for modesty. A balcony bra by definition cuts across ones breast to expose more upper breast tissue. Heidi from Sacramento, CA

LOVE this bra! Am a big fan of the Brand to begin with, but this is by far the best bra for me yet! It has great coverage, stays in place & thin, yet firm molded cups to make a great shape. As a petite figure with larger breasts, the wires aren't uncomfortable or pokey! Holly from Aurora, Ohio

This bra isn't bad, but it seems like it's made specifically for "top-heavy" breasts. I tried it in six sizes (32E, F, FF and 30F, FF, G) and none of them fit. Look at the dressmaker's dummy in the photo -- see where there are wrinkles along the top of the cup, near the straps? Even when I filled the bra's cups to overflowing, those ripples were still there. My breasts are pretty 'balanced,', in terms of top- or bottom-heavy; it seemed like you'd need some extra poof on top to fill out the cups, and even then, it just seems like there might be slightly too much fabric or length in the top of the cup. The bra *was* good in terms of uplift and support; I could drop the straps and my breasts stayed put! Amazing! However, be warned that it has no inner sling or panels -- I felt like my breasts were rolling too far out to the sides, with nothing to keep them forward and out of the way of my arms. Also, the straps have a *lot* of give, considering the weight they're intended to help hold up; I felt rather jiggly. This bra probably works best for people with top-heavy breasts that aren't as large as mine, and maybe with a wider ribcage so there's less 'breast wraparound' near the armpits.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. Our mannequin is wearing a 34D bra. We therefore had to put pads in the cups because the mannequin is only a 34B. This is why the cups have wrinkles. Our suggestion would be to make sure you place your breasts in the cups after you have put the bra on. This usually solves the problem of not enough tissue in the upper part of the cups.

Great bra! It gives great shape, and enough support, though I would like just a little more, but this one does the job. It gives just the right amount of cleavage! JULIE from

Great Bra! Have been looking for a Bra with this type of support for a long time. Very sleak & looks great under tighter clothing. Supports breasts so well, they don't move or bounce at all. Bra does give a little slimming look, kinda of smashed looking.. but may be because I had to return the 34 E for an F....patiently awaiting! Holly from Aurora, Ohio

I love this bra. It gives great support, is very comfortable and low profile, from a sheer t-shirt to a lower neckline. It's perfect, I wear them everyday! Ann from Maryland

Large cups hold good volume without them being too *wide* across the chest, minimal material and minimal pain for such large cup size. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I love this bra. The shape it gives me is amazing. I have the 4500 in the same size and it has little ripples in the cups, yet this one is a bit too small. I would order a larger cup next time. Barbara from Newbury Park, Ca, United States

This bra fits well and feels very good next to the skin. However, the total stretch straps give me too much bounce. I would love to have it with only partial stretch straps. Linda from White Stone, VA

This is my favorite bra. After years of searching, I have found the ultimate in support for my shape. I love the balconette style because it gives me the lift and support I need to stay perky looking. Plus, since I tend to be fuller on the bottom, I don't get that weird gapping or puckering at the top like I do in other "full figure" type bras. The only improvement to this bra for me would be for the straps to be set in slightly more in the back as they have a tendency to slide off my shoulders sometimes (my shoulders slope.) I have worn Fantasie bras for a couple of years now and love them. I had never tried this particular balcony style and I just love it also! I did, as some other reviewers advised, order one cup size larger than I wear in the 4500 model and it was not too large. I like the lift and natural shaping this bra offers. Kim from Georgia

I agree with the reviewer who said this bra seems to be made for top-heavy breasts. It's a very well-made, supportive bra but the fabric along the top of the cup puckers, causing wrinkles throughout the cup. I even tried a smaller cup size, but a) the underwire was too small and b) the fabric still puckered. Because of this issue, I'm limited to wearing this bra with bulky or loose-fitting clothes that don't reveal the puckering.

HerRoom Response: For women who have a hallow area above their breasts, this bra will probably react the way you describe because this bra has demi cup styling. A full coverage cup will prevent the puckering look that you describe.

Having size DD with a small frame (30) it is very difficult to find a bra that fits. I have been a fan of the Fantasie line but never tried the molded balcony bra. As usual, I was not disappointed. The cup fits true to size and gives you a gentle lift. The cup material is just enough to provide a smooth finish but does not add bulk. The straps sit comfortably on the shoulder. The back enclosure with 3 columns and 2 rows is perfect. Thanks to Fantasie for realizing that petite people may have large breast that need subtle support! Laurie from Kennett Square, PA

I've owned this bra for a year and a half, and it is still in terrific shape - and I'm not gentle with my bras, so that's pretty amazing. It fits extremely well, sits flush on my sternum, and it's invisible under clingy knits. I love this bra except for one thing: the underwire is just slightly too small for me, so it sometimes pokes against my breast, which gets painful by the end of the day. I tried a larger cup size, but that was clearly too big, and I tried a larger band size - also too big. So this is a nearly perfect bra. I still wear it all the time, I just wish the underwire diameter was a tiny bit larger. Emily from Philadelphia, PA

For years I could not find a bra that fit my top heavy & full natural breasts. I was so excited when I found this one. It is a great everyday bra that is supportive and very comfortable. And I love that I can still look and feel sexy with very large breasts in this bra and it fits correctly. Please never stop making it...I don't know what I would do without it. Thanks!!!! Tamari from Southern Ca

I love that this bra comes in so many hard to find sizes and the fabric gives firm support, but the shape of the cups seem to be made for someone with top-heavy breasts. The under-wire and band fit perfectly, but the fabric puckers at the top even when I tried a smaller cup size. Amanda from Oakland

Wonderful fit and very comfortable to wear, and I love that there are no seams to show through clothes or bother my nipples. Makes even my large bust look more perky, and makes my waist look smaller because my breasts are in the right place. Good color selection for a plus size bra. I love it! When I first put this bra on, I thought that the fit was great. Viewing from the front it was flattering and supportive. There are two big problems that I found. 1) The design of the back totally exaggerates back-fat. Another reviewer noted that the bra has a narrow back, so I compared it with my other bras and this seems to be true. I don't have a severe back-fat problem with other bras, only this one and it must be because of the narrow back. 2) After wearing the bra for a few hours it began to droop. I'm not sure why-the fit seemed good (and I'm picky). Despite that it initially looked great, once it began sliding a little, spillage became an issue. I was really enthusiastic about a good seamless bra, but this one wasn't my answer.

HerRoom Response: Your two complaints really sound like you have too large a band size. If you are seeing back fat, this usually means your band is too loose and it is creeping up your back thus causing your skin to bulge. When the front starts to droop, this is also a sign that your brand size is too big. We would suggest going down a band size and up a cup size to maintain the same cup fit.

It lifts the bust line to give a perky look that is hard to achieve with larger busts plus it is more minimizing than some other bras which help with finding shirts that fit. Submitted from TheUndies.com
