I agree with the reviewer who said this bra seems to be made for top-heavy breasts. It's a very well-made, supportive bra but the fabric along the top of the cup puckers, causing wrinkles throughout the cup. I even tried a smaller cup size, but a) the underwire was too small and b) the fabric still puckered. Because of this issue, I'm limited to wearing this bra with bulky or loose-fitting clothes that don't reveal the puckering.

HerRoom Response: For women who have a hallow area above their breasts, this bra will probably react the way you describe because this bra has demi cup styling. A full coverage cup will prevent the puckering look that you describe.

Having size DD with a small frame (30) it is very difficult to find a bra that fits. I have been a fan of the Fantasie line but never tried the molded balcony bra. As usual, I was not disappointed. The cup fits true to size and gives you a gentle lift. The cup material is just enough to provide a smooth finish but does not add bulk. The straps sit comfortably on the shoulder. The back enclosure with 3 columns and 2 rows is perfect. Thanks to Fantasie for realizing that petite people may have large breast that need subtle support! Laurie from Kennett Square, PA

I've owned this bra for a year and a half, and it is still in terrific shape - and I'm not gentle with my bras, so that's pretty amazing. It fits extremely well, sits flush on my sternum, and it's invisible under clingy knits. I love this bra except for one thing: the underwire is just slightly too small for me, so it sometimes pokes against my breast, which gets painful by the end of the day. I tried a larger cup size, but that was clearly too big, and I tried a larger band size - also too big. So this is a nearly perfect bra. I still wear it all the time, I just wish the underwire diameter was a tiny bit larger. Emily from Philadelphia, PA

For years I could not find a bra that fit my top heavy & full natural breasts. I was so excited when I found this one. It is a great everyday bra that is supportive and very comfortable. And I love that I can still look and feel sexy with very large breasts in this bra and it fits correctly. Please never stop making it...I don't know what I would do without it. Thanks!!!! Tamari from Southern Ca

I love that this bra comes in so many hard to find sizes and the fabric gives firm support, but the shape of the cups seem to be made for someone with top-heavy breasts. The under-wire and band fit perfectly, but the fabric puckers at the top even when I tried a smaller cup size. Amanda from Oakland

"Perky" silhouette, even for my large bust. Comfortable and smooth, so no showing under tight shirts. Good selection of colors, not just beige. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Wonderful fit and very comfortable to wear, and I love that there are no seams to show through clothes or bother my nipples. Makes even my large bust look more perky, and makes my waist look smaller because my breasts are in the right place. Good color selection for a plus size bra. I love it! When I first put this bra on, I thought that the fit was great. Viewing from the front it was flattering and supportive. There are two big problems that I found. 1) The design of the back totally exaggerates back-fat. Another reviewer noted that the bra has a narrow back, so I compared it with my other bras and this seems to be true. I don't have a severe back-fat problem with other bras, only this one and it must be because of the narrow back. 2) After wearing the bra for a few hours it began to droop. I'm not sure why-the fit seemed good (and I'm picky). Despite that it initially looked great, once it began sliding a little, spillage became an issue. I was really enthusiastic about a good seamless bra, but this one wasn't my answer.

HerRoom Response: Your two complaints really sound like you have too large a band size. If you are seeing back fat, this usually means your band is too loose and it is creeping up your back thus causing your skin to bulge. When the front starts to droop, this is also a sign that your brand size is too big. We would suggest going down a band size and up a cup size to maintain the same cup fit.

It lifts the bust line to give a perky look that is hard to achieve with larger busts plus it is more minimizing than some other bras which help with finding shirts that fit. Submitted from TheUndies.com

This bra came with great lift a sexy shape and a jiggle that my husband liked. It held up alright about 3 months of near daily wear before the cups started to sag too much. The part I did not like was the straps, constantly fell of my shoulders. If I had coat hanger shoulders this bra would be great.

HerRoom Response: This bra is designed with wide-set straps. This could be causing your strap issue. Lynn from Kent WA

I really wanted to like this bra. The fabric felt so soft, the elastic was strong yet velvety, and the construction seemed solid. However, the band was simply too loose, and the straps were spaced so far out to the sides that they were precariously clinging to the ends of my shoulders. Since Fantasie doesn't seem to make a smaller band size, and I refuse to pay close to $50 for a bra that has to be altered to fit, I'll be exchanging this one for a Freya bra. For women with larger ribcages (apparently most of the country, if not the world), I'd recommend this as a comfortable, everyday bra.

HerRoom Response: It sounds like you really need a 28 band size. You are right in that almost no manufacturer makes this size except for pre-teen girls. Also, please note that a balcony bra by design has wide-set straps so that your cleavage is rolled more towards the center.

I was convinced that all bras would poke under the arms, need the straps shortened, and that I would need to compromise with a too large band and a too large cup because there weren't bras for women my size. I was looking in the wrong place. WOW. I love it. The center fits against my breastbone (I didn't think that was possible) and there are only 2 snaps in the back that offer amazing support without feeling like I am wearing heavy machinery. It looks nonexistent under clothing and I will definately be buying more. Thank you for offering a bra for women who actually need one. Sheila R from Ky

Even though it didn't look comfortable when I first took it out of the box, all my doubts faded when I put it on. I had so much trouble figuring out where the weight was being supported that my breasts seemed to be levitating themselves. I had a few hours of discomfort and slight chafing while the elastic under and behind my arms got properly broken in, but after that, I had no discomfort at all! I'm coming back to buy more, in fact. One consideration, though: If you like your bands snug, this may run just slightly large. I had mine on the first set of hooks right away, which isn't normal for me at this size. Went for a pro bra fitting and she gave me one of these to try...WOW! I've been wearing VS 38DD and spilling out, but this bra is very true to size and keeps my breasts in the cups where they belong without looking too torpedo-ish. I wish they were a little more "plunging" in the front for low low v-neck, but overall, this is the best fitting bra I've had on since I had smaller breasts as a teenager. I own 3 and would buy more.

HerRoom Response: A great seamless bra that comes in your size with a lower front panel is the Wacoal Seamless Underwire Bra 65115

I've been wearing the Fantasie seamless bras as I've dieted my way from 40G to 32DD. At every size, they are exceptionally supportive, long-lasting, comfortable, and make all clothes look great. The center actually sits flat against my chest--that's a first. Right now, I like the balcony version--it doesn't give me a "torpedo" effect, but instead lifts straight up, keeping my bust out from under my arms, where I don't need it! Plus it's sexy, even on an old lady like me. The balcony bra runs to size, while the regular version runs large, as reported; I wear a size down. Buy either, and enjoy! A fan from Iowa

I have to admit, I was reluctant to buy such an expensive bra. But let me tell you, every penny was worth it! This is the first bra I have ever owned that fit me perfectly and felt sooo good! I always used to want to buy the little skinny-strap, flimsy bras because I thought the fuller-coverage bras would look old-maidish. However, all my tops look 10x better now because I'm actually supported - not squished into an uncomfortable bra. I'm so glad to finally find a bra in my size. It's hard when you're "naturally endowed" but not that big anywhere else. Take that Victoria's Secret! Brittney from Tennessee

I LOVE this bra. It sits correctly against my chest and gives amazing support, even with my heavy bust. It doesn't show under anything, and the shape it gives is very natural, unlike many bras in my size that make you look "pointy". I always feel sexier when I have it on. Beth from Texas
