Fits exactly as promised and as pictured. From the front I look great. The lower side fit gives me a hideous overhang with my back at my underarm, on the top of the side. Yuck. I've never seen anything like it before...on me or anyone. I'm so desperate for plain cup bra without "contour" that I'm keeping it though. I'll just have to keep looking for the perfect fit for me.

This bra has a great fit and more support than I expected. At first the cup size seemed a little big, but the underwire fit was perfect. After wearing for a few days I seemed to settle into the fit and I really love it. I don't have to keep pulling up the straps and adjusting the cups, which is unusual for me. I sent this back. It flattened my breasts and pushed them out to the sides making me look fat and wide and when I tried to move my arms they kept bumping into my breasts. It was very awkward to try and function with these large lumps under my arms.

I like Fantasie bras because the wires don't come up high between the breasts or under the arms, which works much better for my small frame. But, I think Fantasie's "Smoothing Collection" might be better named the "flattening collection" because I've tried different bras from this collection and they all flatten the breasts and push them out to the sides, some more than others though. Also, it would be nice if the cup sizes where more consistant. I have one 34FF that fits, one 34G that fits, and one 34G that is too small.

Fantasie Response: 4500 is a bit unique in that it runs one full cup size larger than our other Fantasie Bras. I would suggest Fantasie 2152 or Fantasie 2182 as both have GREAT side coverage and prevents the “east/west” movement of the breast tissue. Also …. I really like the fit, but it is not a molded cup and I don't like the nipple show through, I have some silicone petals that cover them, but it should not be advertised as molded cup

HerRoom Response: A molded bra means the cups are seamless and have been shaped over a mold. If you also want a thin layer of foam in the cups for modesty, this style is called contour. Jen from VA

Delighted to find this in stock. Bought two to replace 38FF model 4500 that I bought in a local lingerie store that is now closed. I've been adding an extender. I went up from FF to G and got perfect fit. I've gained 50 pounds, so this is a very good thing for me to find my favorite bra again. The website tips on large-cup bra to fit narrow shoulders is spot-on. Although this bra is not a leotard back, the straps attach to the right spot at the back. The metal adjustment's in the back (yeah!) and the straps never dig me at the shoulder. I do the hippie-hippie shake and fill the cups perfectly. The back closure's at the right level and doesn't ride up. No underarm gap, no front bumper marks, smooth transition from top of cups at cleavage. I've washed these in a mesh bag in delicate cycle with warm water. For wearing only these two bras 7-days-a-week, they lasted up to 4 years. Eventually the underwire broke out of the channel at the underarm (never the front, which is a major wardrobe malfunction!) but I was able to repair the channel blow-out till I could buy a replacement. It's stretched out a bit, but I'd give this bra a 98% rating. Great fit for me, and well worth the extra cost. When I first bought this bra, the fitter/store owner put me in it and I didn't care that it was $50, and that was probably 9 years ago. I had worn 44DDD and 46DD's, whatever I could find, but this bra fits me best. I wore 38C in high school, and carried my breast weight high. With age the weight has dropped somewhat, but I still offer a high carriage and straight back. My shoulders are narrow; I understand this is a European characteristic. The bra label says this model is 38G Europe, 38I in the US. I've been recommended to custom-fit bras when I couldn't get a good fit. I used to get a leotard-back underwire Playtex 18-hr in Playtex/Bali outlet stores. This bra's perfect for me. Used to get black and white bras, but that local store owner convinced me that nude was suitable for all occasions. Some comments were made about this bra being too plain. If you need a lace-trimmed shelf bra to close the deal, go for it. I never lack attention from men of all ages; honey, they're not looking at ribbons or lace. Under clothing, this bra reads like a T-shirt minimizer. Why wear anything else? The smooth cup might be too revealing for some women, but that's not an issue for me. I wish the frame could wick away moisture, but the cup fabric and mesh back keep it fairly cool. Thanks again for the full description and additional comments on each bra. I was SO excited to get this bra. It looks great on the web site. NOT so much for me. To me, it looked to "old lady" like. I wanted something to hold the girls up but still look....good. The cup was a bit small too. I am sure it works for some, but didn't work for me. Wendy from Wichita, Kansas

Best bra I own. Looks good under clothes and really supports. It's not a minimizer, but, unlike other molded cup bras, it doesn't make me look huge, either. So far, so good! I followed the directions on ordering the "right" size, but still came up a little off. I also assumed that my band size was increasing with my pregnancy, but not so. It's hard to order online, but without access to any of these bras in stores nearby, I have no choice. Thanks to HerRoom's great return policy I'm sure I'll find the right bra for me. This one seems to fit very well and give the right amount of support, so I'll order just a cup size smaller and have no doubt that it'll fit and feel good. The band is a little narrow and I really wish it had a liner in the cups to prevent nipple-show. But the straps are positioned well and are just the right width. Being fairly short (5'3") I'll very likely have to cut some length from the straps to pull it up to the right position, but that's a small task if everything else fits right! Kimberly from Ohio

I love the balconette version of this bra, but this one does not fit me as well. It is still very comfortable, but it seems like there is just too much fabric at the top of the cup, despite fitting perfectly everywhere else. Going down in cup size only gave me the dreaded 4-boob look with wrinkled cups. If your breast is fuller at top, instead of at the bottom, this would be a great bra. Christina from Norman, OK
