I did order down a cup size, but it was still too big. I used to wear 34D/DD, but recently lost weight, and have sized down to a 32DD. I ordered a 32D in this bra, and the cup AND band were still too big. Not as supportive as I would have liked. Seemed like kind of flimsy material.

Fantasie Response: Check Tomimas fit tips to make sure you are in the correct size. If the band in the 32 was too large then you are a 30 band now. The 4500 runs full in the cup so if the 32D was too large you are most likely a 30DD in most other styles. The 4520 or the 4510 in Fantasie would be great options for you. The Fantasie 4520 bra is a softer cup withour fiber-fill and the Fantasie 4510 bra is a contour cup with foam in the pad and gives a great shape! kjo from virginia

LOVE this bra! I have owned three of these bras and I will never try a different bra ever again. I usually wear a DDD in other bras, but I can wear a DD in this one. The fabric is smooth and clothes glide over the fabric. I never have to worry about spill over on top or the sides and the underwire actually CUSHIONED! I regretfully bought a cheaper bra instead of purchasing this one again ($50 is hard on my budget) and I can't believe how uncomfortable the underwire feels. I get red and sore under my breasts but not with the Fantasie 4500, it's just about perfect! The only reason I take a mark off is that I can't get more than a year out my bra. I might just be picky, but I would like it to last a little longer. I get the most wear and tear around the closure where my finger hooks into the fabric to pull the back together, and my most recent bra had the underwire break through the fabric at the very point in between the breasts. I tried this bra because I was looking for a bra with the straps located in the center of the cup. However, the fit was very poor on me. The band fit best on the tightest hook but was not comfortable, I have a boney ribcage and the band irritates my ribs, the back rode up and the cups gave me a "teardrop" shape. All this indicates the band is too big and the cups too small but according to the measuring charts (26" + 4) I'm a 30 band, so it should have fit. However, I discovered that a 28 band, or in the case of this bra a 26 band, with a larger cup size is a much better fit. Since this bra only comes in a 30 band I returned it.

Vendor Response: The 4500 cup runs very full. You are correct, if the band was riding up the back and you hooked it on the tightest hook you need to go down in the band to a 28DD. Kathi from Lakewood, Co

Okay...I hit the bullseye! After ordering and trying on and returning SO many bras, I finally have the one I want to live in every day! Yes, it is true. I reviewed this earlier this month that even though I had the wrong size, I didn't want to take the bra off and return it. I also mentioned the bra didn't come in a cup size larger (40 G) which I expected to be the size I should have. However, because I loved the feel and shaping of the bra SO much, I took a gamble on trying it in 38G (smaller band size, larger cup size...the latter of which I knew I needed). Bingo! I even tried it on with shirts (button down and pullover) that didn't fit properly or look right before and the shirts look so much better on me. My breasts aren't pointy, they are separated but don't look like they are on opposite poles of the universe, and the bra has a smooth but firm cup so that my breasts look good in a tshirt or a button-down shirt. Not overpowering, not like bomber cylinders, but a part of my body that blends with my body (despite such large ones being on a somewhat petite build...I'm 5'4) I know everyone's body is different, but I really recommend this bra. This bra is listed under t-shirt bra category and it is absolutely NOT a T-shirt bra as the fabric used for the cups of the bra are not thick enough to keep the nipples from showing through your shirt, which is the whole idea behind a t-shirt bra! I'm sure this is a great bra, but it should not be included in this category. If you're looking for a T-shirt bra, the 4510 is great!

Love this bra! It fits well and looks really great under any type of fabric (T-shirt and otherwise). It has a nice smooth shape and the under-wire is exactly where it should be. I highly recommend this bra. I also recommend looking at the Fantasie sizing chart before ordering as their cup sizes are slightly different than some brands. I SO wish this bra came one cup size larger. I tried this bra on and really did not want to take it off! I so wanted it to fit, but I had some bulging at the top that showed I need to go up a cup size :-( I love the material, love the way it feels on my skin, love how secure my breasts feel in them (it's like they are being lovingly, but surely cradled). Unfortunately, it doesn't come a cup size larger...so I have to send the 40f back. It's breaking my heart because its the first bra I tried on that looked good (except for the bit of bulge) and fit the way I wanted it to (shape and support) and FELT good (as if I were wearing nothing at all, only better.) I tried this bra in both 30G (which is what I usually wear in Fantasie) and 30FF. In both cases, the cups were too big at the top of the bra (which caused excessive puckering). I considered exchanging the 30FF for a 30F to see if it would be better, but decided against it. I also felt like the straps were too long for me (I'm 5'2 and have a petite frame). I'm not saying that others shouldn't try this bra out, because I did like other aspects of it (like the fabric and style), but it just wasn't the right bra for me. If you do decide to order the Fantasie 4500, definitely follow the HerRoom advice to order a cup size down!

Fantasie Response: Definitely try the 30F. The cups runs very full on this bra and sometimes 2 cup sizes big! You may also want to try the Fantasie 4520 which is less full and has a nice balcony shape!! Lindsay from Martins Creek, PA

I returned this for a different style. It fit correctly but I felt like it pushed my breasts down and out too much.

Fantasie Response: Hopefully you found what you were looking for. A few options would be to go with a seamed bra (Like Florence or Savannah) with a side panel to pull breasts up and in, or you could try Fantasie 4510 in a 36GG.
