I really love this bra!!!! I have very large boobs but they are not large out, more like round(if that makes any sense). This is one of the first bras that I have ever had with the side support, AND let me tell you I love it! It lays very comfortably, and has no extra padding (not all us ladies need that). I do wish it was made for lower cut shirts, but I wear under shirts consistently so it's no big deal. ALL IN ALL, I will be ordering more of these. Kirsten from Gulfport, MS, Usa

I love the fit of this bra however I need to be very careful what I wear it under. The seams in this bra are pronounced and show through t-shirts. Shelly from St Paul MN

I really wanted this to work. It's well made, attractive, & the elastic at the top of the cups is soft enough to not cause muffin top. I have worn the Fantasie 4500 for years in a 30E. It is a full coverage style & I'd love to have something cut a little lower. I've tried every size possible in the 4520 trying to accomplish this. Unfortunately without success. I had hoped the Jana would be the one, but I think I'm just not shaped for a less than full coverage bra. If you are, this is a great bra, & Fantasie bras really provide great lift & support & center me so that I can move my arms back & forth without encountering obstacles. Dorothy from Heathsville, VA

I think the bra is great for a sexy look, but I need side support. My breasts are huge for my frame and need better containment. If yours are more centered, this is a very nice bra. Gingie from Maine

I wanted to like this bra because I want to find one that is not contour that looks decent under t-shirts since the contour ones are hard to pack when I travel. I tried it first in a 30GG and then 30G and neither one worked. The cup was too large through the top section. I don't know if going to a 32 and down a cup size would work or not. I suspect this just isn't a good style for my sagging pendulous breasts, I'm very short from shoulders to bust and it came up very high under my arms, Linda from Tulsa

This was a beautiful bra. However, I went by the universal size and ordered a 36G. This was good in the band, but the cup size was way too small. I probably should have ordered the 36HH. I'm not sure. I ended up sending this back, but reordered another from the Fantasie collection. I love this new bra. Dorothy from Fort Worth, Texas, United States

I ordered this bra in a size 36G which is what my universal bra size would be in this brand. It's too small in the cup and the band is too snug. I'm sending this back but I'm ordering another Fantasie, because if this bra had fit, it had great separation and life. No binding under the arms. Jean from Fort Worth/Texas/United States

I went up a cup size because of the comments. The bra fits well on the lower section, but is slightly too full on the top section. I don't know if a different size would help or if the style is just wrong for me I'm dealing with the older sagging breasts and so I seem to have this issue with a lot of bras. Not sure what the solution is. Linda from Tulsa

I chose a size according to my Universal Cup size (band 34, D9). At first, I thought it fit okay, but the more I wear it and move around, I can see that a cup up would have been better. Alas, I've already taken the tags off! Similarly, the apex of the cup isn't quite as high as I would prefer, so while it FEELS very supportive and comfortable, when I look in a mirror, I think my breasts look a little low. I think it's because the cups hold a lot of the breast tissue on the side & underneath, instead of pushing up. I like how secure the band feels, so I think just a cup size up would have fit me a little better, but I am still not sure the projection is a terribly flattering one for me. I will say that it is very smooth under T-shirts, which is a plus! Rachel from NC

I really wanted to like this bra but I just didn't. As per other reviews, I went up a cup size, but found that was almost too big. I guess I am between cup sizes in this bra. For me, the bra also does not offer adequate support. The underwires are just too wide - the outer edge is almost two inches away from the base of my breasts. (I need the underwires to rest at the base of my breasts to get good support.) As a result, I started drooping - badly - and got the east-west drift-apart going on. Unfortunate that it did not work for me because it is incredible comfy and I appreciate that the seams do not show easily under clothing. Kat from USA

This is my first foray into UK sizing and I am very happy with the result. In mid-range department store American sized bras I was in a 36DDD, and usually wore a minimizer because they're the only one that I could find a DDD in. So, obviously, this is a revolutionary purchase for me ;) I do not think that this particular bra is the perfect fit for my body. The gore is a little too tall for my (apparently) close-set "set", and the top of the cup tapers in a little too sharply for my (apparently) full breasts giving me the slightest whisper of "quad-boob". The leotard back is wonderful for my shoulders, and the support is fantastic. I was worried about the seaming, but I find that even under my "uniform" of thin, basic vneck tees you don't see any of them. Despite the minimal fit issues, I love it and will continue to wear it. I first tried this in a 32F, and as other reviewers mentioned I found it to be too small in the cup at the top, giving me the quad boob. I tried another size, and it just didn't fit right. I fell in love with the pattern and love the Helena bra with side support, but this one just didn't work as well. Too bad, because it is really a beautiful bra. I love the colors, pattern and detail. Unfortunately, I had to send this one back. My UCS is 36 D3 and I ordered the 36 E which I thought was comparable. It was too small and gave me double boob across the top.

Fantasie Response: Jana FL2831 Underwire with Side Support Bra does run slightly smaller in cups, give this one another try in cup size up – 36F (4D) for great support & no more “double boob” across the top. momof2 from Fairfax, VA

The way the seams are sewn on the cup make you look like you have pointy chest. Would not recommend for large chested women.

Fantasie Response: For a softer less pointy projection may I suggest Fantasie’s Lois Underwire Side Support Bra FL2972 – made of a soft microfiber pin-stripe fabric with a simplex lining for comfort & support giving a more rounded shape. The seams read “flat” so they are less visible under clothing & smooth out with each wear. Natalie from Florida

Great bra but like others I got bulges on top and think I need to order a bigger cup size than normal in this style. I'm definitely going to try a larger size because otherwise it's excellent - light and yet supportive, and gives me a nice, centred shape. I've tried lots of bras and so far this is the best I've found for an everyday bra that supports and is even pretty. Sonia from Canada

No pinching or poking from the underwires and even though it's very lightweight and has seams it gives excellent support and doesn't show under t-shirts. Submitted from TheUndies.com

This is my favorite of all the bras I've ordered. First of all, let me say I am one of the many ladies who discovered her true bra size thanks to this site! My bras hadn't fit properly for years -- I knew they didn't fit but there was nothing in the stores that would fit me properly. Going up a band size never helped -- I needed a smaller band and a BIGGER CUP! Anyway, I used the fitting guide, which told me I'm a DDD/E -- couldn't quite believe it but ordered some bras and they fit! The Fantasie Jana: It's pretty and it fits me well. My breasts are wide and round, and ever so slightly outward pointing, and this style does great for me. They are lifted and held firmly and nicely separated. And the side support is something I will always look for from now on. The fabric is very soft and comfortable, feels almost like cotton although it isn't. The styling is elegant and feminine but not fussy -- could be either casual or fancy, dress up or down. I have the cappucino color and the black and both are very pretty! (Husband likes, also.) I love this bra for it is low cut but I do have some trouble with the straps slipping off my shoulders. Worth it though, I would order it again. Marie M. from West Union, SC USA

Definitely need to go up a cup size in this one, as advised. It makes a lovely shape, and is comfortable. it also cut into the the top of my breasts, giving me 4 instead of 2, so back it goes. Caroli

Very supportive, excellent side support, and full coverage. At this point I can't decide if the best part is the comfort or how pretty I feel in this bra (I bought the matching panties as a set) - it is really contemporary and made of a beautiful fabric that looks delicate, but holds up well. Full marks from me! Amy from Wake Forest, NC

I love Fantasie bras and this one is very chic in this gray color with trim of lavender / purple. I am typically a consistent 34G (D6) in Fantasie but I got a little bit of "double bubble" with this bra. Don't know if it was just something about that day or is because of the cut if the bra and may need slightly larger cup size. Lisa L from New York, NY

I am going to review this bra even though I had to send it back because it is nearly perfect. Nice light material with good support too. No fancy lace design, and finally, a bra in my size that does not show through what I am wearing! Fantasie has always done well for those of us who are small except in the cup size, and I am happy to see them headed in the right direction with a t-shirt bra too. This one just needed a little more full coverage to prevent spillage. I also need to thank Her Room for great communication during the long wait for my backorder. I was able to spot and delete a fake message from shipping company because I knew exactly when my package would be arriving. Carolyn from Chicago
