I wanted to submit an updated review. After trying other bras out for a time, I have returned to this one as my favorite. Also, the lace show-through is not as bad as I initially thought, and I can wear it under most of my t-shirts. It is closed on top, which is great for my shape, as I don't have a lot of upper or inner fullness. It does have plenty of side coverage. Also, it is not too high of coverage. The underwire is very comfortable, and the shoulder straps actually fit my narrow shoulders. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Stephanie from Oregon

I was disappointed in this bra. It really did not provide any lift or support. It also seemed to run small.

Fantasie Response: Hi Mary! The Susanna bra is created with leavers lace and bows to create a seductive look. The side support gives a forward projection, but also has a wide wire for comfort. It is a gorgeous, everyday, pleasant bra. If looking for support and a sexy shape, try the Allegra Underwire Vertical Seam Embroidery Bra. If strictly looking for support, try our Seamless Balcony Bra. Mary from Crofton, MD

Received my 30 G exchange. I absolutely LOVE this bra. The other day rode horses to check cows and this bra provided so much support when trotting . I am 5' 1", slender but curvy and this bra is perfect as it can be shortened enough for the shoulder straps to fit perfectly. I am going to buy two more. I have the the black/gold and the pink right now. Karen from Elk Creek

This bra fits and supports fantastically! Many bra straps are too long or too wide-set for me, and I didn't have that problem with this bra. So, if you have a short upper torso and/or narrow shoulders, you may want to try this one. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that the lace is "lumpy" under many tops, (like t-shirts.) So, you have to wear layers or sweaters with it. Other than that, it's perfect! Stephanie from St. Helens, OR, USA

Loved it, but had to send the two bras back for a 30G. Bra does run a size too small. Very very comfortable. I almost wasn't going to send them back as they were so nice on. Dr. Karen from Elk Creek, CA USA

I ordered a 30FF. I need to send it back for a 30G as this style does run smaller. BUT, I loved it. I loved it so much that I almost made the decision not to send the two I just recieved back for a larger cup size. This is a very pretty bra and it does not feel like you have it on. I am 5'1", slender, but have CURVES. It has been very difficult finding bras to fit. I currently wear a Fantasie 30FF, but the style is no longer available; love it, but is very stiff after a year of washing and wearing the two I purchased. I wanted a bra that does not feel as if you are wearing one and I have found it in the Fantasie FL2402. I bought the fuchia and black/antique gold. I hope Herroom has these colors in the 30G! I like this bra but prefer the Fantasie Elodie style which is similar but provides a better fit overall. Susanna is comfortable and supportive with great lift plus it's pretty but some underarm spillage. Monica

In this beautiful bra my ladies are headed South East and South West , but at least they don't sway when I walk. The center boning doesn't lay flat on my sternum the way my Elomi Persia in a 38H does. I thought the side boning in this bra would bring my breasts more front and center. Any suggestions? Really liked this bra! Its the first cut and sewn bra that has fit me properly (albeit it was the first time I was properly sized too haha) was wearing a 34D was sized to 34E by a fitter who finally knows what theyre doing!! FYI dont add any numbers to your band size...nothing will fit properly. I liked the lift and shape this provided. Cups are supportive yet forgiving enough that there were no wrinkly areas in my slightly smaller right breast nor bulging for larger breast. Also, for a seamed bra it covered the nipples pretty well. I give the bra three stars because of its appearance. However, the bra does not in any way, shape, or fashion give me anywhere close to enough lift. I am drooping down and outwards in this bra - definitely not what I want. I have already washed it, unfortunately, so will keep it, but will relegate it to the back of my drawer. (The panties, on the other hand, are darling, sexy and amazingly comfortable!) Kat from USA

Wonderful fit. No side or back lumps. Lacey but feels like second skin. At the suggestion of my fitter I went 1 cup higher than other brands I own - thank goodness I did. I am buying another colour. Dianne from Toronto

The bra (and matching panties!) are GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS! However, I absolutely HATE how I look in this bra. It gives zero lift whatsoever, which makes me very sad because I would love to wear it. I've tried to wear it a few times and I just don't like how saggy and droopy I look, so the bra is just sitting in my drawer. Unfortunate. Kat from USA

I really wanted to like this bra as it was so pretty but it just did not fit right! The underarm spillage was really bad - and this was supposed to be good for that.

Fantasie Response: Fantasie’s Susanna is a great bra for side support! Underarm spillage is an indication that the cups might be too small, try going up one more cup size for a little more coverage. Karen from Dublin

It had a pretty design and feminine petal color, but the cup material was too flimsy. I didn't feel it held me in or supported me at all. My chest felt and looked like wide, jiggly torpedoes. I found the cup size a tad too big, but not enough to size down. Unfortunately, it will be going back.

Fantasie Response: Try going with pretty & feminine with a touch more rigidness in the cups such as Fantasie’s ,Melissa Underwire Side Support Plunge Bra FL2932 has that firmness in the cup that you need with great support along with the pretty factor! Natalie from California

As a larger busted woman, pretty and supportive bras are very hard to find. The Susanna meets both with amazing results. It is the most supportive I have ever worn but it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a plate of armor. The lace is also very beautiful and soft and goes well with a variety of panties. I only wish it came in more colors! Submitted from TheUndies.com

Bought for my 15 yr. old daughter. She absolutely loves this bra. Great support, and looks pretty on. Other girls during gym class have complemented her when wearing it. Natasha from Dallas

I love this bra. I have a horrible time finding a pretty bra that fits right. I wear a 34G and the only thing I would complain about is that the straps seems to relax a lot after a few days of wear and no longer shorten as much as I would like. The side wire did dig into my armpits to begin with, but have relaxed down and no longer are an issue. Everything fits into their own sides of the bra which is really appreciated. I will be getting another one as soon as I get my next paycheck. Kara from Portland Oregon

It was comfortable and provided an OK shape, though it is very lightly lined and your nipples will show through. The reason I didn't like was because the underwire on the sides seemed too short and the underwire in the center a bit too high for my shape. Most of my breast weight is at the sides/bottom of my breasts. Overall, the cups seemed too snug to hold all my breast tissue and thus the return. I could have tried a size up, but the Petal color was very blah next to my pale skin and I really don't need any more bras that show my nipples.

Fantasie Response: Yes Fantasie’s Susanna FL2402 tends to run slightly smaller in the cup. I think you would be pleasantly surprised with the Antique Gold color a perfect complement for fair skin. A trick to lesson pronounced nipples with a “cut & sewn” bra is to make sure they are aligned with the cup’s seams. Jen from USA

Bra fits and supports me well! I don't fall out of it like I was with other bras and it does get rid of that bra side bulge issue lol. I definitely recommend it! Courtney from Suffolk, VA USA

This is a beautiful bra. However, even though I do not wear an implant, I do wear a prosthesis. The cups ran large, but I hoped by washing the bra, it would shrink a bit. It didn't (which is good, ordinarily). I did wear it 2-3 times so wasn't allowed to return. Willie from Fayetteville

Great bra! Terrific support and love the side support as well. Pretty. If you are larger, the look is a little different than the picture. Definitely more forward and subtly triangular, but perfect for sweaters or button down shirts. Did I mention the great lift? I love Fantasie bras and this one did not disappoint. CJ from Seattle

Love this bra! But the cup size is slightly smaller, I usually wear 30 G, but for this style, I have to wear 30GG. Jessy from Irvine

This is a pretty great bra. As another petite person noted, I did find the top of the bra rubbed on the back side of the armpit, however after a week or two of wearing it, that seems to have worked itself out. In terms of fit, even though I have the correct band size (I measure 29 round and wear a 30) I still find sometime the center piece between the breasts does not lie flat. I have not had this problem with other bras. Every other part of the bra seems true to size and it is comfortable once worn a few days. It is supportive although I was expecting just a little more from a bra name Underwire Side Support. But it definitely has decent support. I am 4 months pregnant right now, so I m pretty sensitive to this right now being extra heavy and already so well endowed. I got the pink bra and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! Probably the prettiest bra I have owned in long time. Overall it is a great bra with good support and I would recommend it! The only real downer about the bra is that it is not ideal for under tank tops because the straps are thick, but what supportive bra doesn't have that issue? I make it work because I like it.
