I absolutely love this bra; and I love the Fantasie brand. At first the underwires hurt, but I've gotten used to them. I have a small ribcage (32") so it's been hard to find a bra with a large enough cup size (H), but this one fits beautifully and is a beautiful bra also!! Thanks!! Becky from IL

This bra has great support for us women with full bust. I love it! The only problem I have is with the time it takes to get it orders. and if ones gets lost it takes forever to get replaced. I just wish there were local places I could purchase my bras so I didn't have to order. PATRICIA from BRUNSWICK, GA. 31523

This bra is very supportive and comfortable. I can wear it all day long and be just fine...not dying to change out of it like some bras I own. This is definitely one of my regular bras now. The lace part on top is subtle enough that it does not readily show through most clothes, which is nice. Until now, I have been wearing only the smooth cup bras by Fantasie because of that problem. It's not super sexy, but prettier than the plain smooth cup bras. It's a great "everyday" bra. 5 stars for comfort, 3 stars for looks, so it's 4 stars overall. Jane from Humboldt Co, CA

Love the bra but would not order from here again. The bra is so cute and the fit is good. However the measurement instructions and the conversion chart from us sizes is WAY off. I had to exchange for two sizes larger and exchanging with HerRoom is ridiculous. It takes a ridiculously long time and customer service is not helpful or friendly at all. I still am waiting to hear if they even received the return and it has been a few weeks now. When I call they refuse to give me any answers.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry you feel this way. Upon reviewing of your order, we sent your exchange out the day after it was received by us. Also, we confirmed that our size chart is correct.

Fantasie Response: The Fantasie Kara bra is a great fit. The UK sizes differ from the US sizes. The 38FF is more like a US G cup depending on the bra style. Sorry for the confusion – we hope you will give us another try. Mo from San Antonio tx

This bra is OK. It seems to have a strange fit on me in terms of support- I feel loose although it doesn't show as such. It also rides very close under arm. Looks nice under clothes. No real complaint regarding the bra but I think another brand is a better fit for me. Cyndi from Ohio

This bra was lovely, and I had great hopes for it. However, upon trying it on, it made my girls wide and flatter. Did not pull them forward and out front, and though the cups were large enough, the sides rubbed my underarms. The item was returned.

Fantasie Response: You might want to try our Florence bra 2411. Florence is a balcony shape which will bring the girls forward. Or you might want to “cross-over” to our Elomi brand and try Caitlyn (EL8030). You mention that the sides of the bra rubbed your underarms. The straps on Caitlyn come up from the center of the cup, not from the side. This means the back end of the upper cup won’t come up as high under your arm, and you might be a whole lot more comfortable. Also Caitlyn has a four-part cup with a side support panel which will bring the breasts forward. TxBelle from Anchorage, AK

Returned this item. I'm 5'3" and the underwire was a little too long under my arm.

Fantasie Response: It’s quite likely that you have a “short upper torso” –as so many women do –meaning there’s not much room from underneath the breast to the shoulder... Very often under-wires will come up too high underneath the arm if you have this particular figure type: Sooo uncomfortable! Sometimes it’s necessary to go down a cup size to shorten the wire, and in some cases you might have to compromise on the “center gore tacking” between the breasts too (the fabric piece between the cups should be right up against the chest wall). I suggest you try Florence 2412. The cup isn’t quite as full, and this model has a different frame than 2091, you might find it to be more comfortable. Florence runs generously in the band so I ‘d recommend you try a 30J. Claire from LR/AR/US

A little scratchy, but tolerable. It is beautiful and supportive which is a rare combination for my size. Fantasie is my "go to" brand for many years now...and HerRoom is the place to go for awesome customer service, helpful fitter's comments, and great reviews. Thanks HerRoom and thanks to all who take the time to review purchases on this site. It really does help! Jane from Redway, CA

I was very hopeful about this bra as I have some other Fantasie bras. Unfortunately I found the cup significantly undersized. As I am at the top of the size range I wasn't able to get a replacement.

Fantasie Response: I would recommend you go to our Elomi brand and try Caitlyn 8030 in a 38JJ. Elomi bras are a bit sturdier and have more “guts” to them than the Fantasie bras. I think you’ll find #8030 to be a very comfortable and supportive bra. If you find the JJ-cup is still not enough, you can always go up in the band to provide more cup, and then alter the band down for snugness and support around the torso. BTW, #8030 goes up to 42JJ. I really love the look of this bra, and I have ordered others the same size with no problems.. this one seems to be smaller than the 36 stated. I will keep it. not too bad just after 12 hrs it begins to feel even smaller. Lisa from Woodstock, IL

Cups were way too thin. Had not padding at all. Very hard to tell from the descrlption and picture. Only two hooks in the back. When you are a 34E you definitely need more than 2 hooks, otherwise the back rises up. Unfortunately it doesn't give that information in the description. Therefore you need to order it to find out.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry that you did not see this information in our "Fitters Comments" tab where we clearly state the hook count. We also show a back view image. Paula from Canton, OH/US

I actually found a bra that fit. I wish it pulled breast more together then the side. Also, the straps do go wide. Great bra in my size 34k. Now, if I can only find a sports bra in that size..Great bra overall. Full coverage. eleni from mckinney

The cup fit wrong and the shoulder straps felt like they were out way too far. I loved the Cali by Fantasie but since this was discontinued I was told this was a close replacement, It didn't work.

Fantasie Response: I think you are looking for a replacement for our discontinued Cally full cup (#7900) which has center-pull straps and a fuller cup than #2090. You might want to try our Helena 7700 which is built on the same frame as Cally full cup –with centered straps and more coverage in the cup. Janell from Neenah, WI, USA

I have got my two favorite colors in this bra. It fits just right all around. I have a very big chest and it is hard to find bras that don't hurt or fit just right. This is one that I just love and will keep on buying it. Brandi from Fort Eustis

This is a new bra for me, so I am not sure how it will hold up but I love it so far. It is the classic Fantasie balcony bra, which gives me the shape I am looking for, full and round. Thanks to the lace it's a very pretty bra too. The lace does end at the exact same place that the deep v of most of my t-shirts end so I have to be careful neither moves much. Switching to a plunge style only gives me a centimeter or so more clearance so unless someone starts making a 1/3 cup bra for DDD+, its the shirt's fault not the bra's. Liz from Napa, CA

Very supportive bra. The first time I ran up the stairs in my house wearing it, I was surprised because I hardly noticed any crazy movement. I haven't had much of a problem with the seams under tops, but I usually wear a cami. Not as pretty in the larger sizes as the one pictured, but it is one of the few bras available in my size that actually does it's job. However, for me at least, I do wish it brought my breasts a little more forward and there was less of a side to side look. claire from cleveland, ohio

This bra was very attractive, fit true to size, but the wires chafed a little too much... I'm sure that washing and stetching with regular wear will help. As opposed to some folks I don't mind the breasts being closer together (slight mono....)... This bra keeps them spread apart which makes you appear smaller ( not a bad thing, but different than what I'm used too) Rachel from Pennsylvania

Fit is perfect and gives great support. The lace on the bra is a little itchy with the first few wears. This seemed to improve with additional washings. Great bra overall. Barbara

Although this Bra looks like a great fit on picture, I did not have the same fit. The straps actually sit @ the outside of shoulders which I found very uncomfortable. I'm not blessed with beautiful square shoulders which makes this bra hard for me to wear since my shoulders are more sloped. I was disappointed. However, the cup fit great. I had to return it. Size: 30G

I usually wear a 30G in Fantasie bras, but this one was decidedly small in the cup for me -- by at least one cup size, possibly 2. However, it's well-made, supportive, pretty, and comfy. I have a feeling that if I were wearing the right size, it would be a 4 or 5 star bra for me. Although, I notice that the design changes if I go past a 30G, and I think the horizontal seams on the 30GG might show through clothing a bit more; same with the lace, since it comes farther down on the breast.

Fantasie Response: The design changes in cup sizes GG and larger to accommodate the larger breast and give more support. We find GG+ cups need the seam in the undercup to give proper support and shaping. We have found the 2091 to be true to size in band and in cup (In fact I have it on today! And if anything I may need to go down in band size. -Betty from Fantasie

Also the frame changes in GG+. The cup becomes a classic 3-piece cup with a hidden side sling on the inside. It provides fuller coverage than the D-G cup (the D-G cup is a balcony shape where the side panel swoops the breast tissue forward. - Freddy from Fantasie Anne from PA

My favorite bra of the decade. Amazing support, straps that adjust down to the length I need to fit my short torso and are set wide enough for me to wear fashionable clothing, and it's even attractive. Melissa from California
