I came across this model when looking for an all cotton nursing bra. It is so comfortable, especially during the summer that I continue to wear it even though I haven't nursed in four years! I LOVE this bra. The only thing I don't like is that the cups are a bit wider than I would prefer. The movement of my arms is limited. If I wanted to lift them from my sides forward and straight up without bending my elboes. Other than that, the bra fits very well, is wonderfully supportive, and very comfortable! This is the first nursing bra I've bought that actually fits correctly, however, it pulls the breasts outward which gives me a very matronly shape. The only other issue I have with it is that the bra straps are too long and need to be taken in by a seamstress. I don't like to feel like I'm "lower" than I should be. It is though one of the most comfortable bras I've worn, so I don't want to rate it too low for that reason alone. Rachel from Philadelphia

Dont know if they will post this for you or not but you mentioned you were a 40M. I am fast approaching the M size being 7 months pregnant and I have found only one bra so far that goes to a size M. It is made by Elila, the style is Jacquard Wirefree w/ cushion straps and go to a size 50M. Comes in white, black and red. I really hope this gets posted for you. I have been searching high and low for my bra size. This is my second pregnancy but I have had large breasts all my life so I'm use to searching for sizes, J,K, and L and now approaching M. This bra is great! It is one of the only nursing bras I could find in my size, and luckily it fits well and is very comfortable and supportive. I ordered several and wear one all of the time (even sleeping.) The fabric breathes very well. I love that the drop down cup is adjustable, because I can leave it looser during sleep but use the tightest setting when going out. I highly recommend this to nursing moms! Lindsay from Iowa, USA

I was worried I wouldn't find a nursing bra that would actually fit me. This one does and makes breastfeeding a whole lot easier. The only problem I have with it is that it's not supportive enough. In the future I will be buying nursing bras with underwire. Mia from Lawton, OK, USA

The bra causes serious separation of your breasts - mine are consistently in my armpits. Also, if your breasts are heavy at all, their weight may crush the lower band and cause pain. After about 6 hours in this bra, the lower band becomes very uncomfortable under the weight of my breasts. On a positive note, the bra is available in larger sizes and it is fairly easy to undo and refix the nursing panels. Kristen J. from NC/U.S.A.

NOTE: I am almost POSITIVE that this bra is itching women because they are wearing the WRONG BANDSIZE. Probably more than 9 out of 10 women wear a band that is too big, and if that's the case this bra will move on you, causing the band (that is made w/a material for staying in place) to rub and itch (possibly chaff). Try going down at least one band size in the bra & see if the problem is solved. If you wear it right it should be comfy AND make your beasts look at least a size smaller (which is a PLUS for me)!! I had this bra 9 years ago when I nursed my 1st 2 boys and just purchased it again for my 3rd boy due in May. It's also extremely comfortable for pregnancy use! Niki from Tulsa

This bra was fairly supportive, but not at all stretchy. It was difficult to get the flaps down far enough to expose the nipple for nursing, so I've returned it. Peregrin from Michigan/USA

Bra was supportive until I started laundering them. The rubber foam in the lower half got hard and disintegrated. It made me itch until I finally threw them away.

Its a fairly supporting bra considering but for some reason I have no idea what it makes me itch. I'm not allergic to the materials just something about the lower band makes me itch awfully bad after a day of wear.As for its features the snaps are a little difficult for me to get open for feeding time and the show up under many of my tshirts. Yet for a nursing bra it does a good job keeping my breasts in place and is comfortable enough to make a day of wear a not horrific idea. Also of value to me is the fact it seems to stain less than my other nursing bras., a feature any breastfeeding mother of twins will appreciate.Its a nice purchase for a nursing bra if your using a larger size, but you'll be glad when you can go back to a regular bra that offers a more secure and attractive fit for you. It's nice and supportive. Price isn't too crazy (given what I normally have to pay for bras my size). I do wear the bra over night, though, and the lace detail can get a little itchy/irritating. Overall, happy with my purchase. Now if they were only made in pretty colors.... Kim from Downey, CA

There aren't a lot of options for my cup size, but this seems to be the best one for me. It supports well and I don't have a mono-boob. However, the bra is a bit heavy and hot and stretches out a bit (so I'm ordering a few more so that I can rotate them more often). Jodi from MD

This Bra was a life saver nursing my eight kids. I am a very small lady with large breast and it is very hard to find a bra that fits let alone one to nurse in. the only thing i would change would be underwire,(foam doesn't offer enough support when your breast are filled with milk) i also feel like the cup sizes are small i will buy this bra again though. gthats what iamm here for Brittany from Buckhannon, West Virginia USA

I love this bra. It gives very good support. As other reviewer said we cannot wear it for the second time without washing because it gets stretched. This bra is great when I first put it on, but since it is cotton it stretches out over the course of the day so it's not something you can keep wearing without washing it in between. Other than that I have been very happy with it -- I have sized down a little since I first started nursing but it has been my mainstay.

HerRoom Response: This is always the challenge with a cotton bra. We all love cotton, but it does stretch. To keep it's shape, cotton really needs to be mixed with a synthetic fabric.
