I wish I had ordered a M instead of a large. I'm 5'5 and about 147 lbs. The Falke size chart seemed to put me at a large, but in reality, especially in the toe area, they are a little bit too large, but I will keep them, since this knit is so thick, I will wear them with close toed shoes and possibly with socks underneath. That said, these are wonderfully made tights that I can tell will last a long time with good care and gentle washings. They are really warm! Melissa from Oakland, CA

I originally bought two pairs of these tights while I was in Germany a few years ago and fell in love with them. They're warm without appearing bulky, extremely comfortable, and fit great! They have been very durable, I wear them once or twice a week all winter and I'm still wearing the ones I bought five years ago. Great quality item all around and worth every penny! Very soft, comfortable, high quality natural-fiber tights that provide enough warmth yet are not bulky or too hot (fabric "breaths"). Price may seem high, but for the durability and quality, they compare favorably with Spanx. If you're looking for control, however, Spanx are probably the way to go, altho' I'm pretty sure Spanx uses synthetic (spandex-blend) materials. Diane from Denver, CO

I wanted tights that were fairly opaque and warm. I was worried about the wool since my skin doesn't react well to wool, but I decided to try the tights and am I glad I did! They are very comfortable, no scratchy wool feel. I was concerned about fit too, since I am a little heavier than the recommended weight, however, I am pleased to say that the tights fit well, no sagging and no worry about too little room or tights creeping down your waist as the day goes on and there is nothing to do about it. The gusset is a great idea. These tights are warm, comfortable, fit well and wear great - I recommend them highly and plan on buying a few more colors. Sharon from Westboro, MA USA
