Surprisingly, lace or other tightly woven material gives more support than you'd expect. So while lace bras look fabulous and pretty, there's a practical side too. Look for seams in the cup (preferably a three part seamed cup)-- they create a better shape and add to the overall support. |

A strapless bra must be the right size - too loose, and you have no support, too tight and it will work it's way down your torso. A soft cup bra is a great solution for a plus-size woman who can never find a comfortable underwire bra.
