Love, love love this bra. It just came today, and I couldn't be happier. I love the elomi brand anyway, but this is a fabulous bra. I purchased the 38FF, even though I normally buy 38G, because that was the closest available size. I am very happy with the fit. It is so comfortable, I can hardly even feel it! NOTE: The size I'm reviewing is 36G. I couldn't select that size from the comment form drop-down menu since that size is no longer available. I'm glad I was able to get this bra in that size when it was still in stock. First I ordered the 36FF (I'm a US 36H), which was a bit small in the cup and didn't provide the coverage shown on the fit model. So I ordered a 36G and that one fits much better. The 36FF has 2 rows of hooks in the back, but the 36G has 3 rows, so I'm sure some other sizes also have 3 rows instead of 2. The sides and underwires are surprisingly short under the arm, which is great for me since I'm short-waisted. It gives me nice lift and good support. The straps are very wide and comfy. Normally I have to wear an extender with 36 bands (I'm really about 37" around, and a 38 band in anything is too big), but I might not need one with this bra--or I may extend the band just a half inch. And it's a very cute bra: I wish I had the matching panty, and I'm not usually one to wear matching sets. This is the only elomi bra I own. I love the look and feel of this bra, BUT the band feels like a 42" instead of a 40", the label reads 40" though. Since it is on clearance I can't return it. I have to wear it on the tightest setting already and its still a little loose so I am not sure how much wear I will get out of it.

Elomi Response: There are alteration stores that will actually alter the band for you to make it the correct band size for you. The Sakura style runs true to size so it sounds like you are needing a 38D7 instead of the 40 band size. Go down in the band and up in the cup. Carrie from Allen Park, MI US

It's really unfortunate that this bra is being discontinued - it's an EXCELLENT fit! It's extremely supportive and I feel completely "held in" without feeling "held hostage." Underneath clothes, the benefit of the lift is really subtle and the thin bar of lace at the top of the cup is just right when the bra accidentally (um, not *always* accidentally) peeks over a low-cut top. the only hangup is the print - I can only wear this underneath very dark, busy, or thick tops. This bra is well made with a very cute print. The color in person is more of a dark blue-ish grey than grey-black. The bottom band is very comfortable and overall the bra seems very well constructed. My only qualm with this bra is that the photo made it seem as though this cup was completely rounded, when in actuality, there are formed points at the nipples. It isn't as dramatic a point as other bras but it does make a very cute bra with a young pattern look more dated in shape once any thin-fabric garment is worn over it. I wish HerRoom or the bra manufacturing companies would include profile shots of their bras. I'm tired of being surprised with outdated conical shapes!

Elomi Response: The Sakura is a great bra, but as in most “cut and sewn’ styles they are less rounded of a cup as compared to the seamless styles. If you want a more rounded shape you might try a seamless style like the Hermione bra in elomi style 8120. I admit I was nervous about ordering a cup size down but it worked out fine. The bra doesn't have as much coverage on the breast as shown on the model. I would like to see models with our size breasts also. I will shop here again and I am happy with this bra. from Troutman, NC.

I tried 3 Elomi bras (Sakura, Abi, Caitlyn). I would rate this bra the best of the 3 for fit and cup size. Just slightly more comfortable and accommodating for my figure. The straps are comfortable and don't slip off my shoulder as easily as the non-stretch straps. The cup size and coverage on this bra is excellent..no spillage and it lays flat for great separation. My only issue is the back rides up a bit by the end of the day. I have adjusted it one notch tighter and that helps. I will be ordering another. Deanna from Milroy PA USA

I love this bra. It is extremely comfortable. It doesn't poke or pinch in any of the spots a normal underwire bra does. Love the overall comfort of this bra, the straps are heaven after wearing Panache bras for years now. My issues were as follows: The back stretches quickly and I had to fasten tighter sooner than expected, However, this would not have been a problem at all if Elomi would start with their back sizing at 34, if so I could have bought a 34JJ and it would have been perfect! I purchased one and loved it so much I bought another, the cups in the 2nd bra were slightly smaller causing some spillage from the top. Thus I can not wear a form fitting on top outfit as it shows. Overall this bra is absolutely fabulous, I even bought the undies and couldn't believe how great they fit and felt. I have not had a 'matching' set in years...my new undergarment favorite brand is Elomi, hands down. Nice fit, but does rub in the armpits just a little - it has softened after a few washings though. I love it. It's my husband's favorite on me. Elomi is the only brand I wear anymore.
