I LOVE this sports bra. I have a large chest (ranges from E-G depending on style) and this fits perfectly. It gives wonderful support during my workout and looks nice too. While the fit was great--and there was great cup coverage--the underwire and the underarms was so uncomfortable I was practically in tears after wearing it for just 5 minutes!!

Elomi Response: Perhaps like a lot of ladies, you might have a short upper torso (not much room from the underside of the breast to the shoulder). Sometimes it helps to go down in the cup (in your case HH) and compromise a teeny bit on coverage, so as not to have the wires come up so high under the arm, and to not have the sides of the bra digging into the upper arm… LDT from IL

Great support, breast tissue does not feel crushed or squeezed. Cups are true to size. I actually like the higher neckline on this bra. The only thing I would change is the width of the support band at the bottom of the bra. It is a bit narrow and tends to roll. A band 1" or wider would be ideal. Patricia from Denver, CO

This bra provides wonderful support during high-level activity. The higher front panel that extends above the ends of the underwire is a great feature, and means that I don't show off something I didn't intend. It's difficult to find something so supportive in a larger size, and this bra meets that need. If I could make one change, I would prefer that the underwire did not come quite so high under my arm, although it is not high enough to be a problem, just higher than I am accustomed to. I orginally purchased this Elomi sports bra for wear during workouts. My choices of Sports Bras styles are limited in my size (40H). I have been wearing other Elomi bras for the last few years and love the fit and support for my heavy breasts. Elomi is one of the only underwires bras I can wear without being pinched by the underwire . I also appreciate the fabric which keeps me cooler in warm weather. Mary from Newton, Mass

I really like this sports bra. Recently, I started working out with a trainer and he has me doing all kinds of jumping and other cardio moves. Before I got the elomi sports bra I was embarrassed to do them because everything went everywhere when I jumped. But I feel contained and well supported, even when doing jumping jacks. That is quite a feat for size 38H breasts! It could even be used as a regular bra for amusement park or errand days. It doesn't give the uni-boob at all and it looks nice. I also bought the Freya Underwire Sports Bra, which I like a lot also, but the elomi works better for me. The elomi has just a little more coverage up top which translates to less bounce from the girls. I should note that I got a 38GG instead of my normal 38H-- it worked out perfect. This was my first order from HerRoom, so I'm still trying to get my sizing right. That being said, I found the underwire to be a problem for me - poked up underneath my armpits, and the bottom edge really dug into my chest. This might work better for ladies with a longer torso than mine.

HerRoom Response: You state that you are petite. Your symptoms are common among who are petite in stature. At HerRoom, we have a petite-plus size category that identifies bras that may fit you better.

Elomi Response: The under-wire poking, and the bottom edge digging… this is usually caused by the wire gouging into soft tissue can happen for a variety of reasons. Usually it’s because the cup is too small, or (and this happens so often) you aren't placing your breasts into the cup properly –bringing all of the breast tissue in front of the under-wire, making sure the wire is resting on bone, not on breast tissue. This is a very comfortable bra. Everything stays where you want it with minimal bouncing. The fabric is smooth, the straps do not cut into the shoulder while typically staying in place, and the cups cover excellently. As a very active individual (I currently dance in a studio company and play/ref soccer), I have looked for a sports bra that works for my size quite a while without success. This one has exceeded my expectations and I am ordering a second one. On a practical note: this bra stands up to multiple washings with little effect on the fit or performance beyond the usual stretching of the bottom band. Straps also do not really stretch which aids in their staying in place. Over and all, it is a great bra worth every dollar you spend on it! Heidi from GA, USA
