Firm control, good fit, good separation. Shape is on the pointy side, but best support I have found. It's a keeper! Jane from USA

This was my first order from HerRoom, so I'm still trying to get my sizing right. That being said, I found the underwire to be a problem for me - poked up underneath my armpits, and the bottom edge really dug into my chest. This might work better for ladies with a longer torso than mine.

HerRoom Response: You state that you are petite. Your symptoms are common among who are petite in stature. At HerRoom, we have a petite-plus size category that identifies bras that may fit you better.

Elomi Response: The under-wire poking, and the bottom edge digging… this is usually caused by the wire gouging into soft tissue can happen for a variety of reasons. Usually it’s because the cup is too small, or (and this happens so often) you aren't placing your breasts into the cup properly –bringing all of the breast tissue in front of the under-wire, making sure the wire is resting on bone, not on breast tissue. Of all the years of wearing bras, the elomi Energise bra has been the best fit, yet. I will have no other kind. It's been the first bra, that last all day, that holds me up, and the straps are extremely comfortable. Annie from Louisana

This is a very comfortable bra. Everything stays where you want it with minimal bouncing. The fabric is smooth, the straps do not cut into the shoulder while typically staying in place, and the cups cover excellently. As a very active individual (I currently dance in a studio company and play/ref soccer), I have looked for a sports bra that works for my size quite a while without success. This one has exceeded my expectations and I am ordering a second one. On a practical note: this bra stands up to multiple washings with little effect on the fit or performance beyond the usual stretching of the bottom band. Straps also do not really stretch which aids in their staying in place. Over and all, it is a great bra worth every dollar you spend on it! Heidi from GA, USA

I have never found something that I could run in, I had major problems in high school and college due to running and being big busted so I just stopped. Now I'm training for a triathlon and needed something to support me really good....this bra is amazing! Kiera from Redding, CA

I loved the separation of the cups for better support and less bounce. That is truly needed to be active. I only returned it because the band size was a little big. I just have to tweek a couple of things. its better to have individual cups for us larger girls for support and to get away from the unibust look. Julia from Salem Or.

The best sports bra ever. No bounce with feeling constricted. Gives you a shape also. This is my second one and I love that it comes in black!! C Lee from MI

I love it...wasted so much money on bras that don't fit. This is very true to size, well constructed with full coverage. The seam across the front of the breast is not desirable, but otherwise it's perfect. I'm wearing it for everyday use. It has great separation; unbelievable and quite comfortable..the straps don't cut into my shoulders :))) Sherry from Richmond, CA

As an active person, this bra has been very comfortable while giving the support I need for my size. It has a pleasing natural shape. Wouldn't be afraid to run or ride my horses in it. I am interested to see how durable it is. Overall very pleased with this bra. Misty from Morrison, OK

Hard to find a bra that works for my size 38G. This one works as well as I guess it can, but the sides have caused pain under the arms from the friction and how it goes up to my underarm. It does separate well! I won't be able to wear it because of the discomfort--too bad I bought two.

elomi Response: Sorry that this particular style did not work out for you. Another suggestion would be Freya 4002. A lot of nurses wear this bra as an everyday bra. anne from nc

Oh man do I love this bra! This bra will keep even a size 40H feeling firm and perky!! I actually step a little lighter wearing this bra, it makes me feel young and lifted again. While I am sure this is an EXCELLENT sports bra, I wear it for everyday wear. The top may come above some scoop neck shirts or show through a deep v or wrap dress, however, it is actually a solid piece that does not look like a bra, so it almost acts like a little cami sticking out. The seams are not so bad that they show through every knit you wear. This bra is the real deal! Barbara from Virginia

More bounce than I would like in a "high impact" sports bra, but it does keep the girls nice and high. Very comfortable, too. Marisa from Charlotte,NC

This bra did seem to offer good support, but the sides went up so high I definitely would've ended up with chafing in my armpits. Plus, every time I moved, it squeaked. Very embarrassing.

Elomi Response: We recommend she try the Freya 4001. It comes in a 40H. It's a non-wire sport bra but due to the way it is constructed it offers a lot of support. Jill from Denver, CO

I love this bra. I am able to run now and the girls stay in place. I have already ordered 2 of them. I have sent back several sports bra's and was lucky enough to come across this one. I am very hard to please. I would recommend elomi 8040. I will say the wire is a little high in the front. Jane from Louisville, KY

WOW! Finally a good supportive everyday bra. I know, I know it is a sports bra, but at my size support is everything. I love it so much that I bought a second one shortly after buying the first one. No digging in the shoulders anymore, definitely full coverage - needed in my case. No more uniboob or making quadruplets out of twins. The girls aren't going anywhere in this one. Only slight ride up today, so need to make an adjustment. Do yourself a favor and at least try this one. You can always send it back if it doesn't work. Bet you only send it back because you ordered the wrong size. I did try the 36gg but the h was better for me. I've even had people ask me if I've lost weight. It does that for your figure. Of course it's because of the lift and separation you get. But heck I'll take a good compliment any day. Karen

Finally, support. I've tried over 2 dozen bras in the last year. Returned them all, none gave good enough support. This bra is really sturdy, the sides are wide enough to keep things smooth. The cups offer great coverage, no spillover on the tops. Breasts are lifted up, the shape is modern and there is little bounce. I wear this for everyday and activities. The only drawback is the seams. I understand seaming provides more support than seamless and I avoided a seamed cup for a long time. If this bra could have some kind of seamless overlay it might help diminish the seams under t-shirts. Also, there is a tiny label on the front between the cups -- it's a little irritating but it can be removed. HenrysMom from Ann Arbor, MI
