It's a great bra--fits very well and comfortable. I'm happy with it. The white was on sale, but didn't have my size. The nude works well--wish they were less expensive, but it is nice to get a bra that fits so well. No comments about longevity yet, as I've only had it a couple of weeks. Prudence from Wasilla, AK

The bra is beautiful but uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time. The underwire digs into my ribs and under arms.

Elomi Response: Carolyn, it might be that you're in an incorrect size, or you might have a "petite upper torso". This means you have very little room between the bottom of your breast and your shoulders. If you have a "petite upper torso", you may need a style which is shorter in height, and is also cut lower at the underarms for comfort. Etta (EL8840) is one of my favorites! Perhaps give Etta a try, I think this style might become your new favorite bra! Carolyn from Dallas

This is a great everyday bra. The pros: I am extremely full-busted and there is no spillage with these cups. I really like the center part actually lies flat against the chest... you do not get the dreaded "third eye" look. They wash well and are well-made. This bra seems to provide great support. This is maybe my 6th bra in this style and I have never had the underwire come out. The band under the cups is actually very comfortable. The cons: I wish the straps had a little padding at the top of the shoulder. Also, the cup fabric is fairly thin so your nipples may show through clothing, which I hate but I wear dimmers/nipple covers so that is not an issue. Melanie from Katy, TX, USA

I cannot say enough good about this bra! The underwire wraps around so that it does not poke my underarms and lies flat in the front. No bulging or spilling out of the cups. The band stays put. There is plenty of support. The less positive reviews are obviously from women who did not follow the sizing instructions, but instead bought the size they are used to buying in a department store. In my experience, you really will wear a band far smaller than you thought and a cup size far larger. Suzanne from Baton Rouge

I was very excited about this bra when I first received it. It fit well, the strap sat across my back without riding up, the middle piece laid against my chest. I do, however, think that the bra is cheaply made. I have three now and they all are wearing out so quickly! $55 is a lot of money for a bra that barely made a few weeks without being stretched and worn out. It was tight on the first set of hooks when I bought and now the strap rides up my back and the center piece is no longer flush. Having such a large chest I don't have a lot of options for bras so over all I suppose its still okay, but truly isn't made well enough for it to cost my right arm.

Elomi Response: Melissa - Thank you for trying Elomi Caitlyn EL8030 D8. From your description, "strap rides up my back and the center piece is no longer flush" after wearing a few times-you might need a smaller band and fuller cup. Please refer to the HerRoom video "How to Measure for a Bra" to help determine your correct band and cup size. Another important step and HerRoom video to watch is "How To Put On A Bra". This step and process can and will make a difference in what size bra you wear. Another Elomi style to consider with a J-hook is elomi Etta Underwire Convertible Bandless Bra EL8840! Melissa

My experience may be due to my own breast shape, weight, etc. (breasts touching, pendulous, heavy). The band was very painful for the first 10-20 times of wearing it; I couldn't get through a whole day in it. Now that I've washed and worn it a bunch of times it doesn't hurt much but it does roll under, which isn't comfortable either. I think the center section is too wide for my breasts, it makes them splay out, and there's no side support to speak of. I'm not crazy about the overall shape and lift, I feel like my breasts are still pointing down rather than lifted. And of course it doesn't work under a t-shirt, even with a camisole underneath because of the embroidery and seams.

Elomi Response: Susan-Thank you for your feedback and for trying Elomi Caitlyn EL8030 in 36D7. Please consider watching the HerRoom video, "How To Put On A Bra" to ensure you're sweeping your breast tissue into the cup properly. This process can make a difference in what size you are and help you to reach that perfect fit. A curvier frame can experience band flipping as the band forms to the natural curve of your body. A bra style and brand that has a fuller side wing might offer relief too. Please consider Goddess Hannah Underwire Molded Side Support Bra GD6131 in 36D7. This style offers unique circular seaming in the cups, gives great shape and support while keeping you smooth and seam free! Susan from Albuquerque, NM

Good support bra. Using the universal cup sizing chart I found most helpful-every bra I ordered actually fit! I hate to go to a dept. store to shop for bras- the selection is overwhelming to me and trying them on is the pits! Since I discovered HerRoom this is the only way I will purchase from now on! When I first bought this item I LOVED it. I was so excited to find something that allowed me to wear tank tops without my bra showing. I can still wear the bra but there are a few things that I do not like about it. First, I've only had it a few months and it is already starting to be very worn. Even some torn fabric around band (and I only handwash and line dry my bras). Second, I bought the color nude and if something (such as sweat) gets on the bra it darkens the fabric and even with clorox2 it is still unsightly in the under arm area. The last thing is that with thin fabrics the bra doesn't look very well because it shows every seam line. Although I am glad to finally have a bra that isn't hideous and makes me feel better about my chest I still think there is certainly room for improvement. Melissa from OH, USA

I had originally ordered the wrong size not realizing the difference in UK sizing. Her room not only promptly exchanged it but contacted me to review the order and make sure it was right. The bra fits well and is a beautiful color which is a real plus after years of basic white and beige. Until the universal sizing I have never had a bra to really properly fit me. Imagine 60 + years of squeezing into one ill-fitting garment after another. I am very comfortable in my clothing now. I also ordered a Goddess bra which fits like a dream. I am definitely one satisfied customer. Patricia from Fairchance PA 15436

Underwires and I have never been friends, but with this bra, we can almost be buddies. The underwire is shaped to come around the side of the ribcage rather than just simple "U" shapes that just rest under your breasts. This made it easier to conform the underwire to my prominent sternum that makes shopping for bras a nightmare for me. Anna from Hughesville

This fits so great! Wonderful. I also am a fan of your analysis on whether it fits small or large and how to adjust. It does show threw thinner clothes though, but frankly don't care. Hard to find my size. Jewel from Utah

Quite comfortable overall and very good support. Great for large, wide-set breasts like mine. A couple things keep it from being five stars though. One, several areas are coarse or scratchy--the seam where the mesh top meets the bottom of the cup isn't totally smooth, and the elastic of the straps/edge of the band doesn't have a good lining or blend. May not bother you if you're not active at all in the bra, or if your skin isn't as sensitive as mine, but take it into consideration if you're the kind of person who cuts a lot of tags out of your clothes. Second, the embroidery on the top section of the cups is bizarrely thick and noticeable. It was quite visible even with a camisole under a reasonably opaque top. Under a cami and a dark button-down or sweater, or something that doesn't cling even the tiniest bit, it's okay, but it will be tough to wear during the summer because the embellishment is so so obvious. Seems to be well made bra, but it didn't fit at all. Band size too big and cup size too small.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. We suggest you visit our Universal Cup Size page to find your correct bra size. Once you find your Universal Cup Size, you can easily find your correct size bra at HerRoom. LRP from Dayton Ohio
