I have been wearing this bra for a little under 3 hours and I have come to despise it. I LOVE the Elomi Jasmine (which they are sadly discontinuing... why??) and the Elomi Lara is a close second favorite. So when it was time to replace my last Jasmine (the underwire snapped) I decided to try other Elomi styles. The Caitlyn felt like it fit well when I first put it on so I foolishly removed the tags and wore it to work. Now I am in pain with the underwires poking my arms, my underarms, and the sides of my breasts. I can't position the band or straps or cups in any one way that resolves the discomfort. I know Elomi will post a response telling me how I'm wearing the wrong size or its not the bra, its my body. But it's the same size as my other two amazing, beloved Elomi bras. So if its a sizing issue, perhaps Elomi should try to be more consistent with sizing? Bottom-line, I'm not sure why this one is so awful compared to my others but it is. I guess I'm back to the drawing board looking for a bra to replace the Jasmine...

Elomi Response: You are correct, you are probably wearing the wrong size. If the wire is poking you under the arm and at the sides of your breasts, then the cup is too small. You might try the 44F cup. Jessica from Medford, MA

This has always been the best fitting bra in the elomi line of bras for me. I thought that by going up a cup size would help me not spill out the top (I do slightly at that time of the month) but it fit me strange around the sides where wires are. It goes too far on my back side. It fits perfect in the cup size though. I wore it two days thinking I would get used to it, but I haven't. I guess I will go back down a size. Giving it 5 stars still because I haven't given up on it yet! kris from Iowa

Very pretty bra. Not the most comfy. I most likely ordered it to small in the band size. Still losing weight so going to keep it. alison from wauseon/ohio/usa

My error for not reading the entire product description. Only two hooks for a size G cup? You cannot get support for large, heavy breast with a narrow two hook band.

Elomi Response: The Elomi Caitlyn bra is a super supportive style that goes up to a K cup which is 12 D’s!! The support does not come from the width of the band but rather the construction of the bra! ddm from IA

I went and got a professional fitting. I changed sizes from a 40H to a 36J as a result. This bra is the BEST! If it digs into you, go get a fitting and get into the right size, because your bra should fit like a glove and not dig into you. I LOVE this bra and am so happy to be able to get it in more colors! I bought this bra in nude three years ago and I love it. The only problem is that sometimes the sides dig into my armpits if I have it on too long; but I guess that is to be expected if you buy a side support bra, and it only happens if it's a long day, over 14-16 hours. Sometimes I work two shifts and at that point... my whole body protests, Ha! Ha!. Since I bought the first bra I bought three more, another nude, a sapphire and a white one. My shoulders always ache, but it the ache is not so bad with this bra. As I said I love it. margo from norwood, ma

I found the construction and support excellent. My only problem is after wearing it for awhile the side wires really bother me. Maybe I should have ordered a larger size because I still have excess flesh on both sides. I'm hesitant on ordering another because I'm not sure what size to order .

Elomi Response: Rosemary, If you have extra flesh on both sides the cups are too small. If you need one more cup size larger then you would try the 40E or if you need 2 cups larger you would need the 40F. I would try both to make sure you get the correct size. This is a super great bra and one of the best! You will love it! Rosemary from Springfield

Item came a lot faster than expected. I've bought these bras several times before and they last a good while. My local shop only had tan and black so I was excited to find this bra in a beautiful blue color. Will buy from again! Kristen from M'boro, TN

This is a nice looking bra, and I appreciate the side support, but the tack is just too high for me (I tried a couple of sizes) and ends up hurting by the end of the day. I much prefer the Elomi 8000. Cathy from Boston

Wonderful bra....originally I placed an order for this bra at a local department store, and later learned that it was on back order. So, I goggled the bra name and HerRoom came up. I placed my order on a Wednesday and got my bras on Friday. I love it!!! Thanks a mil.... Towens from Norfolk,VA USA

This is a very good bra for bigger chested girls like myself. I had to get use to this bra because it is higher under my arms than my older bras. I don't find myself pulling it down in back and everything stays where it is suppose to stay. Cassie from Dayton, Ohio, USA

Love this bra. Just try it! It is very supportive and comfortable. I like the shaping it provides. My bust doesn't look so wide in this bra. Not the prettiest bra, but not bad either. This is the only bra I wear now. No underwire digging in, no scratchy lace or fabric, no back band riding up. Thanks Elomi. Frustrated with US bra sizes from PA

Best underwire I have worn - but I don't really like underwires. They poke a bit under the arms. Very supportive - I followed the fit guide and it fits well. Teri from OC, CA

This was my first Elomi bra and while I liked the style, the fit was not good - cup size too small. I am returning for another Fantasie bra in the same size.

Elomi Response: The cup usually runs true to size, you could try the 34FF or G. Hope the Fantasie bra works for you!!! Pat from Texas

This is a great bra. I almost returned it because it was "loose". or so I thought. I have outgrown my other bras after kids and I was used to a snug bra. I was afraid since it felt loose it wouldn't be supportive. I was wrong. This supports me all day long and is super comfortable. I was a little worried when I first put it on because the side of my breast looked flat but my husband said he didn't notice it. After a few days I didn't notice it anymore. So I'm not sure if stretched to fit better after I wore it or if I put it on differently the first day. My only complaint is the pattern on the top. I cannot wear this bra with a solid colored t-shirt without the lines showing. I'm still looking for a good solid bra that is supportive so I can stop layering. Nina from USA

I had read all the instructions so I had the right size and know how to properly 'load' myself into a bra. (haha) And I was so excited to find such a beautiful bra in a beautiful color for big gals. When I first put it on, I was so impressed with the superior fit, construction, design and materials, etc. It was fantastic! Until I moved....which is when I screamed. Literally screamed aloud! The underwires are totally solid, rigid and do not flex! Plus, they are too long on the outside and stabbed me in my armpits. Because the underwire is like this, it caused terrible pain. I couldn't get this thing off fast enough. I wore it 30 seconds and was in tears! Why on earth did they put a completely rigid underwire into a bra!? That's crazy! I was so very disappointed. :-( How on earth this is a best seller and women actually like this torture device is beyond me. I really hope they will change the underwire because if they do - this will be the best bra on earth. Please change the underwire to one like the Playtex Secrets line uses. Thanks. :-)

Elomi Response: The Caitlyn bra is one of our top sellers and usually fits great! If the wire was cutting you under the armit is possible that either the band or the cup was too large? Depending on how you are built, if you have a shorter upper torso meaning from the top of your shoulder to the underwire of your bra directly under the breast, then it is possible that the underwire could cut you due to it coming up too high. Please make sure the cup is not too big! Maybe you could try the 44E or a 42F cup. Kathy from NY

This bra is extrememly comfortable, I wear about a 44G and found this to be so comfortable and supportive. I have tried many other bras in the past and haven't found many this comfortable, beautiful, and supportive! MY only con- I wish the sides weren't as wide, they go rather high, but I know this is needed for the support! Roseanna from Eastern Nevada

Elomi does it again. I started my Elomi experience with a Cleo a year ago, and recently bought the Caitlyn because I wanted a splash of color. For my personal body shape, the support fall slightly differently from the Cleo's, and I admit I like the breast shape the Cleo gives me a little more, but the Caitlyn still gives me the same great support and fit I've come to expect from Elomi bras. The color and lace is gorgeous, and I thus far have had no problems with fit or wear. It stays put, does what it's supposed to, and looks awesome doing it. I put it on and forget about it, and that's exactly what a good bra should do. The cup comes right up to the edge of my breast. When they say "full coverage," they mean full coverage. But that's okay, there's no popping out at the top to worry about. Caitlyn gives your cleavage clean classy lines. I love my Elomi bras. They're all I wear now! Sassy from San Diego

I discovered your product at a bra boutique, try it on and loved the fit. The only problem was they only had one in my size. I when on line to your website and their I found much more. I received my items 2 bras and matching panties and they fit perfect and they are SEXY. For years I have wore two bras at the same time to get the support I wanted, with your bras I get the support I need and want. Thank you!!! Marilyn from Chicago/ IL / USA

I almost love this bra, but I wish manufacturers would figure out that a US I-cup (UK G) needs more than 2 rows of hooks. The fabric is great, the cup design is great, the underwires don't bite, but the band is flimsy and gives out quickly. It was a great bra for about 2 months (cycling 5 bras). I'd give it a shot with a 32GG instead of a 34G, but of course they don't make it in a 32 band size. Come on, guys, once you get up to a US F, you need at least 3 rows of hooks, and for anything US H or higher give us 4. Look at the old Vanity Fair My Satin Fantasy bra--I used to cram a US38J into their 40DDD with surprisingly supportive results because the band was magnificent. I'm paying you $50-60 for a bra, stop cheaping out on the band! Aimee from St Louis, MO

I really wanted to like this bra. In general it is pretty comfortable. I like the wide, comfortable shoulder straps and how the whole thing snugs close to me. Two problems are that the underwires poke my underarms, and worse, by about the middle of the day I started getting blisters or some kind of wound under the band, just behind my arm, on one side. I am wondering if the band is too small, so I'm going to re-order with a bigger band/smaller cup. I'm just worried that will only accentuate the underwire poking problem. I may try the 8060 as well, to see if the demi-cup works better on my shorter frame.

Elomi Response: You’re correct so often it’s the size not the style which causes discomfort. It’s also just as important to put the bra on properly as it is to find the correct style and size. (Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit to help you). It’s also important that the band is snug enough to stay parallel to the floor, and doesn’t ride up. If the band is too loose, it will move around your torso, and this is what can cause chafing and blistering. You might like a band-less style like our Abi (EL8100). Abi has a lower center gore than EL8030, and the wires are a slightly lighter gage – lighter construction all round. RBF from IL, USA
