Elomi Response: You are on the right track, going up in the cup size to find the perfect fit. This style goes up to an H-cup, three cup sizes larger than you ordered (we have styles that go to JJ cups!) It bears repeating these Three Points of Fit:
The band must be snug around the body (like a hug) and be tight enough to stay parallel to the floor and not ride up the back
The center gore should “tack” between the breasts (be right up against the rib cage)
The under-wire should surround the entire breast and sit behind the breast tissue on bone If all these things are happening, the bra should be a perfect fit. Usually we find we get a better, almost custom fit if we go down in the band and up in the cup. Don’t be afraid to go up in the cup! Please don’t give up, I’m sure with a little patience and perseverance, you’ll find the perfect bra! DiDi from Baltimore, MD
elomi Response: Sorry to hear #8000 wasn’t right for you. If the seams bulge out it’s usually a sign that the cup is either too small or too big. You might want to try elomi 8001 in the Cleo collection. This bra offers less coverage with a lower center gore and a totally different frame. You might also want to try elomi Caitlyn 8030 - a favorite with most of our customers. Don’t give up Karen, there are beautiful bras out there for you! karen from willoughby, ohio
Elomi Response: It could be that this style is not the best shape for you… Sounds like you need LESS bra… I’d suggest our Elomi 8001: It’s 2 inches lower at the center front and underarm –it’s a gorgeous sexy bra too, and it will make you feel young! Ahmad from Kennesaw, Ga
HerRoom Response: You may not know this, but many manufacturers call your cup size by other letters. For instance, some manufacturers refer to a DD as an E cup, a DDD as an F cup and so on. If you need help deciphering what your cup size is, please see our size conversion chart, which lists each brand's cup sizing guidelines. Alicia from Nacogdoches, TX USA
HerRoom Response: You note that you are petite in stature. We have a category on our site called Plus Size Petites that calls out bras that work best for women of your height. Brenda from Wy
Elomi Response: Sounds like the cups are too small. The wire needs to be behind the breast tissue (on the rib cage) in order for all of the breast tissue to sit fully in the cups, and be able to fill that nipple area. Try the ‘swoop and scoop’ to get your breasts into the cups properly… Meg from las vegas, NV
