I ordered the size that the customer service agent suggested but when it came in, I tried it on and I believe that it was a little to big. When I tried it on with my wedding dress but it didn't work with my dress. So I'm going to have to return it.

I am 5'3", short-wasted, apple-shaped, and normally wear a 40DD bra. This bustier beat out the Goddess to be worn on my wedding day. It's more comfortable, smoother and much better hidden under the dress. It also gives the girls a gorgeous, rounded shape. My one and only complaint is that it doesn't come in nude. Why do so many lingerie manufacturers decide that plus-size women don't deserve the option to wear skin tone? It's weird. This shade of ivory is pretty, but my dress only has one layer of silk and one layer of lace, so I might try to dye the bustier to make sure it doesn't show through. Sizing down the band was perfect. Sticking with a DD works for me; there's a little bit of wiggle room, so you could make the case for a D, but I still have plenty of uplift and a nice shape.

I ordered this item for my daughter who is normally a 34DDD/34E The cup size was a good fit but the bodice was at least 1 size to big possibly 2 sizes to big. Had to return because the item does not come smaller that 34.

Elomi Response: We have a lot of requests for bustiers in small bands and fuller cups. You might need to try a 32F (D4) or a 30FF (D5) in a bustier depending on how full the elomi was in the bodice. This is a great longline bra--I struggled to find one that is plain and will disappear under my wedding dress. The bodice is smooth and very comfortable, and the cups fit true to size. However the size 32 band (my normal size) was way too large, it fit more like a 34 or a 36. If you wear a 32 and are willing to get this tailored, I would recommend it; otherwise it will be too large. I had to return it. Margaret

I felt so beautiful and supported in this bra. Although I am technically petite at 5'3", I have the torso length of someone 5'8". I carry all my weight in breasts and belly. I ordered this bra in a 36 and 38 because I was worried about the waist closure over my pot belly. However, the 36 was still able to work great for me so the 38 was returned. I was incredibly happy and surprised to find a long line bra/bustier that could adequately support me without slippage. My breasts were held up and cradled without being squished. I felt like a princess in this bra and it was so nice to have my back fat all smoothed out. I did have to bring the optional straps in a little as they were set slightly too wide for me. But the bra still works very well with no straps. I felt svelter and smaller as if all the flesh was molded to where it should be. I think that this bra along with a good girdle is an instant confidence booster. It was comfortable and elegant in the ivory satin. Dawn from Longview, Texas

I really wanted to like this bra since it is one of the very few bustier bra styles that come in my size. However, the fit was awful! the band was at least three inches too big around and the cups were too small. I have been fitted at a bra store recently, and other bras in 32G have fit me well. I would try reordering another size but the band doesn't go smaller than 32. Drats!

Elomi Response: If you measure a 32”-band, you’re probably more of a Fantasie or Freya girl. Elomi is a brand for a fuller-figure type. I know it’s difficult to find a bustier with small bands and full cups! You might want to try a really great-fitting strapless bra (our Fantasie 4530 is a fabulous choice) and then a control garment with a waist that goes up to the bottom of the bra for a super-smooth look.
