I was pleasantly surprised by this bra. I selected it for comfort (I felt I've been tortured by my underwire bras at the end of many a day) and still wanted some shaping. When I opened the package I thought, "No way will something that little work." I am really impressed though that it does shape & support and it's comfortable for all-day wear. I think a C cup pushes the limit on support though. I get more movement than I would with an underwire or a sports bra, but I'm happy to trade it for comfort. If you're bigger than a C cup, I imagine you'd be swinging around quite a bit. Elizabeth from Arlingotn, TX

This is the second time I've ordered this bra. When I submitted my first review, it was to comment on the comfort and design. Keep in mind there is no metal anywhere on this bra. At that time I wasn't sure how they'd hold up over time. Well, now I can tell you. After 14 months, my first originals have held up beautifully! I hope HR will always carry these. Not true to fit, cute looking, but runs small, and I usually wear a 38 but went up a size just in case...if you want this style, try VANITY FAIR's version, it's so much better fit for ordering online and can't say enough about it b/c you slip it on over your head easily and has clasps, stays on and can sleep in it without getting itchy.

Still on the hunt for a bra that DOES NOT WRINKLE OR ROLL. I am 5'8" and average weight. Since I am a B cup, it is very difficult to find a bra that fits. The support is just fine, and the bra is comfortable since it doesn't bind. But it puckered on the sides and rolled up in the front the moment I put it on. I kept it because it is comfortable and I can wear it around the house and quick trips to the store. Other bras of this type always push me in flat. Where, or where is the bra that does not bind, roll or wrinkle...and still give some support????

I ordered this bra style specifically for the lack of a back hook-and-eye and have worn that type for many years. I am long in the torso, needing an extra inch of strap length. These straps were comfortable without digging in at the shoulder. I had no issues with "fallout" and the bra did not show at the bottom of low V neck tops. There was occasionally a challenge to keep the straps from being visible on the side of the low V neck. The tags do bother me so I will be removing them. I usually wear a 36 bra, but after reading the reviews, I ordered the 38 size. I found that, because of my small cup size (A-/A), there was too much puckering approaching the strap. I'm seeing positive reviews on here, but it was too much material for me. Naturally I expected to look just like the picture, but just looked lost in all that bra. Think I will do much better in the skinny-strap versions .

I've bought this bra in size 38 in the past. The band has always gotten too tight as the day wears on. The 40 is more comfortable thru the day. The straps are wider than I'd like - they show some of the time. I like Elita bras a lot as they are a good fit for my A cup size. Mary

I bought one of these bras to try - it was a 36 and too tight. I exchanged it for a 38 and it's just right. Caveat: they do run small. The exchange was very quick - no hassle. I now have 3 of the silk magic (one in each color) and also a pink & white striped bamboo cross-over. These bras are all wonderfully comfortable and well made. The fabrics are superb. I wear these under most of my normal clothes and the give me just enough lift to look quite presentable and they feel wonderful. I always wore under wires as I'm a full 36B. I was always ending up with sores under my breasts from the rubbing. No more! I'm thinking of rounding up my mounds of under wire bras and dumping them! Barbara from Marco Island, FL

This is hands down my favorite wire-free bra. The material is super soft and silky. It gives good support without feeling like you're squashed. Easy to hand wash, dries quickly, so useful when travelling. Even in super hot weather, nice. I buy the 40 and I am a B cup. Berarin from Key West

I normally wear a 32 but needed the 34 in this bra. Love the soft fabric, as it doesn't leave any red marks when I wear it. Also, many bras fall off my shoulders, but this one doesn't. Love this bra! I've been bothered by under wires bras for years. They dig, rub and cause miserable rashes - I've have eczema. The Silk Elita offers the solution to the problem. It feels like I'm not wearing a bra and looks quite nice under blouses and especially gauzy, full tops. It doesn't look quite 'perky' under t-shirts (but the 'girls' aren't perky anymore either). I will definitely being buying more of these! Caveat: I'm usually a 34-36B. I first ordered a size 36, but found the band to be too tight and the cups squashed me flat. The 38 is perfect.
