My blouse size is a 16 and I could barely squeeze this item over my head.

Elita Response: Style 4553 is meant to be a fitted camisole (close to the skin). The size chart is correct, and all detailed measurements of this style are listed on the website. A size 16 blouse, as far as I know, should be a size 40 bust or more, if that is the case then this style would be too small. AJ44 from Houston

Good quality cotton & nice support. But cami is a little bulky overall - too much loose material - & non-adjustable straps were too long, causing droopiness.

Elita Response: This size small must be too big for you. You would probably need an x-small which we don't offer. That's the only reason why it would be bulky or the straps would be falling off of you. vtec

First of all, I didn't realize this cami had a shelf bra, so that's my fault. It is uncomfortable over a bra because too many straps around the ribs. It is not supportive enough to wear without a bra for my size. I do like how fitted it is and that it is cotton. I wish the straps were a tad larger to hide bra straps adequately. I need to find a similar cami without the shelf.

Calida Response: Style #4553 does have the shelf bra and would probably be too uncomfortable to wear over another bra. Since it does not have an underwire, it would not be as supportive. Elita does not make a built-up camisole like #4553 without the shelf bra. Nadia from Detroit/MI/USA

I like everything about the Elita camisole, except that on everyone that I have purchased this past winter (5), all have had the seams at the bottom unravel. I even had one re-hemmed ! The cost of that was $12.00, so thought it would be better just to buy new. Wacoal, in the past, made the BEST one, but the style I liked has been discontinued.

The only thing that would make this item better is perhaps a v-neck with a slightly deeper cut. I can't stand any kind of bra and wear this type of undergarment every day. Haven't been able to find it in stores so I was soooooo happy to find it here. Karen from Acushnet, MA

Great fit. So many tanks are too long for me because they're all made to fit over leggings at the moment. This one is the perfect length, hitting at the hip bones, and the straps are just wide enough to hide bra straps, while still looking attractive. The shelf bra adds the perfect thickness so the shirt is not too sheer, even in white. I have shopped and shopped for tanks and this is the best quality and fit for the price. Alexis

I love this cami. Since I found it, it has become my favorite undergarment, and when the weather is warm, I can strip down to just the cami. It is sleek enough that it doesn't add bulk under other layers, and the shelf bra offers plenty of support for us "modestly endowed" girls. Wanted a non-underwire cami to wear under suits & sweaters. This doesn't look good. Too thin, falls poorly.

This camisole is the most comfortable one I have ever worn. I'm glad I have several, because I sleep in it; wear it around the house when I am at home; and wear it under my clothes almost every day. I am patiently awaiting one in black, since I own several white ones. I wish it came in multiple colors. I'm glad I ordered the Medium instead of Small. It is just right since it has stretch in it. This cami runs large. I'm a 34B and the small is a little big including the non-adjustable straps. The cami is also a bit bulky - lots of loose material on the outside that doesn't fit flat on the body, which is a problem if you want to wear a form-fitting tee on top.

This is a well-made, comfortable garment and the size fits as expected. I only have one complaint: there is a large, contrasting logo on the outside rear neckline (I ordered the item in black). If the logo were on the inside, the camisole would look a lot more dressy. As it is, it's for casual use only. Regular customer from New York City

The item was not as described. It is listed as 92% cotton and cotton/lycra. The garment did not have the 'give' that cotton has and is very fitting. The large is really a medium. I am very disappointed in this garment and will be returning it.

I'm normally a medium, but have to purchase shelf-bra camis in a large to accommodate my bust (34DD) comfortably and securely. These were a perfect fit! The fabric has a little stretch so it's not too baggy, and the bust coverage and support is better than most camis - which is very important since I use these for lounging and sleeping. The only improvement might be to reduce the seam bulk along the inside of the straps - but overall a great base cami. amy from harrisburg, pa

Fit isn't quite right. Bust is much too small for my average size chest. The straps are too long to offer decent support. I may try to take a needle and thread to mine so It will become usable, but will have to deal with the shelf being too small. A larger size would be much too large everywhere else to offer any support whatsoever. I'm bummed. It's a cute little top.
