Elita Response: Style 4553 is meant to be a fitted camisole (close to the skin). The size chart is correct, and all detailed measurements of this style are listed on the website. A size 16 blouse, as far as I know, should be a size 40 bust or more, if that is the case then this style would be too small. AJ44 from Houston
Elita Response: This size small must be too big for you. You would probably need an x-small which we don't offer. That's the only reason why it would be bulky or the straps would be falling off of you. vtec
Calida Response: Style #4553 does have the shelf bra and would probably be too uncomfortable to wear over another bra. Since it does not have an underwire, it would not be as supportive. Elita does not make a built-up camisole like #4553 without the shelf bra. Nadia from Detroit/MI/USA
Elita Response: Style #4553 is a very fine cotton and sometimes the stitching at the bottom can come loose. This does not happen often and we will be happy to replace it. Sandy from Reno, NV.
Elita Response: 4553 is a very light weight cotton/lycra that is made to be thin. You should try our 3653 camisole that has a shelf bra in it. Robin from Deerfield, IL, USA
Elita Response: It sounds like you would be a small, so we don't know why it would run large. It does have built up straps so they are not adjustable. anonymous
Elita Response:This style is 92% cotton 8% lycra spandex. I would suggest you try the XL in this style if you do not want it as fitted. Nancy from Troy, NY 12180
Elita Response: Being a cotton/lycra top, this style is not meant to give a lot of support. The straps are built-up, so they can't be adjusted. We would suggest you go up a size. I don't think the body of the top would be that much bigger. Amber from Los Angeles/CA/USA
