I love Elita brand from Canada. They are very comfortable and are mostly cotton. I hate synthetic clothing of any kind. I purchased Elita brand back around 1995 from a major Department Store. I still have those panties. Compared to these new ones, I like the old better. They have more of a cotton texture to them than these. They are a size M. This size L fits me a little snug in the crotch and thighs, and definitely are not as long as the old mediums. These boy shorts are a cheaper alternative to Spanx. I think Spanx just copied Elita to tell you the truth. Boudicca from Texas

This boy short is super soft and fits under all pants. I wear them under dresses. It would be great to have color choices. Bobbie from Rochester

Nice style and fit, but stitching started to come apart in several pairs : some in the crotch, others around the waistband and leg openings. Mimi R. from Luling,Louisiana,United States

I was very happy to find how comfortable the boy shorts are. I've been looking for a long time for a boy short that is cotton. I'll be buying more in the future. Karen from Mickleton,NJ

I was disappointed because there was a seam front to back which was uncomfortable. I was looking for something seamless. Aside from that they were ok. Unfortunately I pulled the tags off and washed them before I wore them and realized how uncomfortable they were.

Elita Response: Elita has been making the #4070 and has always had the seams. We're sorry that the seams were uncomfortable for you. Barbara from Longmeadow MA

The "shorts" are very comfortable, pleasant to the skin. I would have purchased more if there were more colors available, not only black and white. Janet from Arlington,VA

Finally someone knows how to make a boyshort that actually fits women. THANK YOU! Please girls, you do not need to wear a thong! No panty lines and comfort!! Enough said. susie from San Diego, California

I love the cotton, I needed one that will stay in place and hold up to washings and wear under tough work jeans. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I like the feel of these panties. However, they did ride up a little or perhaps I should say when pulling on snug jeans they pulled up a little too easily. This was my first pair and I am trying different styles of briefs to see which ones give me what I want. I may buy more of these panties in the future. JEAN from ST. LOUIS, MO. USA

I like the panties but would love to have them 80% nylon and 20% lycra spandex. I have an old pair and they are fabulous! Flo from Natchitoches, LA USA

The item fit fine. I am struggling to find underwear that will hold up to the tough job. I wear jeans all the time - not the thin and stretchy, but real work jeans. I want underwear that stays in place - this one did. But I also want quality that will last a while - these won't. The fabric is thin, though better than others, and the elastic is narrow. D from TX

Runs small. Next time I'd order 1 size up. I also wish they were longer in the leg; they do ride up a bit. Otherwise OK. Luna

Love the feel of these panties, but the leg could be a bit longer. They tend to creep up because they hit me right where my saddlebags end. A bit longer would be a whole lot better, but I will buy them again. Lisa from Westchester, Illinois

I must say this IS an essential. I am latex/elastic-sensitive and panties always give me a problem, causing me to swell up and then cutting into my skin, leaving rings around my legs and waist. These are awesome: tagless, all cotton, covered elastic waist and NO elastic around the leg hems. They don't ride up (at least I haven't had an issue), they just fit all needs. Some say "boyish"; I say "athletic". Buy at least one pair for your drawer. You can walk around the house in the black ones, which look like shorts. Lisa from Chicago

Love this item. Please don't ever stop stocking it. It feels very comfortable and it gives me the right amount of hold. I would never buy anything else. Susan from Falls Church, VA USA

These would be 5 stars if they came in an XL size, as the silkier version does. The fabric and construction are wonderful, but these do indeed run small. I'm not that large a person--tall and a fit 135 lbs.--and the large felt uncomfortably like a tight control top (which I cannot tolerate as I find it effects my breathing comfort). This style in cotton is SO difficult to find, so the lack of larger sizes is doubly disappointing. I love the SilkMagic version of these for everything except the fabric (lots of outdoor activity in hot and humid climates, plus medical recommendations make cotton a better choice if I could get it.) I like the feel of the material but hate the way the crouch is made. The extra fabric rolls and I find it very uncomfortable. I was hoping that these would not ride up, but they do. Can anyone out there suggest a style or brand that won't ride up in the back. Even though I'm in my 60's, I still like to wear my "skinny" jeans but hate my underwear riding up. I'm 5'9"and 135lbs, so it is not like I'm trying to fit into something that is for a much younger person. Things have gone s'south" somewhat but there has to be an answer for this!

HerRoom Response: Riding up can be caused by wearing a size that is too large for you. Consider a size medium. Sonia from Columbia Mo USA

Really liked them, but prefer the Calida brand because they do not have a thick hem line. Still I gave them five stars because they are cool, comfortable and work well with dresses and pants. They do not leave panty lines - I have tried all types of thongs, but found them uncomfortable and I wanted a bit more material between the material of my outer clothing and 'less than youthful' behind. I will definitely order them again. They are also great for wearing to bed with a sleep top. For ladies who do not like to sweat around the leg openings of regular panties, these are great! I just wish they came in several skin tone colors and pastels. susan from south carolina
