This item was NOT 36 inches at all. In fact, when I measured it, it was 29 inches at the widest point. Needless to say I am returning this. Not even remotely close to my size.

Elila Response: The garments do not generally measure the size written on the item. Garments are sized as if they are stretching to meet a number. If you measure yourself with a tape measure you should be 29" around too, if you measure a 36, then you should try 40 or 42". Please see the sizing instructions. Julia from IL USA

I wish the item or that there was something similar in a front hook. It worked, but was rather difficult for my husband to hook for me in the back. Wasn't very pleased, I'm rather long waisted so I thought this would work, and it was about 2 inches too short.

The bra was comfortable and not too tight but the top of the bra was too high for the dress that I was trying to use it for. I would probably try this bra again with a different dress. Angie from WA

I ordered this bra in a beige and had to order it in black! It is so comfortable.... and gives great support for the full figured girl. I wore it as a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding and I wore it all day! It looks really nice under your clothes as well. Order the band 1 size up as recommended and all should be ok! It seems like a great product. I normally wear DDD and the D cup that I ordered was still too big. I ended up ordering something else because the cups covered too high and poked out the top of my strapless bridesmaid dress. I ordered this bra, originally in a size 46E which was to big in the breast area. I had to contact customer service and the young lady was very pleasant and nice in helping me to determine my correct size. She had me order a 46 D. When I received the bra it was the perfect size. So perfect I ordered another in black. You can never have enough strapless bras for those special outfits you need to wear. Thanks Herroom for a perfect fitting bra and very well made also. I am a very busty woman, and I have been searching everywhere for something like this that would actually fit me. The cup size was perfect, but the band size was a little too small, but I just bought a bra extender and it was a perfect size after.
