Well made and attractive bra. However, cup fit is awkward with spillage over top, even though ordered one cup size larger just in case. Back comes too far over to the sides, causing some friction. Expected better fit, especially considering the price. J from Lacey WA, USA

I originally tried this bra in a 44DDD and didn't like it because it didn't fit, and had a huge gap at the bottom band. I saw some comments about fit, so I decided to try again, and I went down a size and up a cup, and it is no better. The problem is that you expect this bra to provide support based on the racer back, especially since it is billed as a posture bra. The cups give no support, and you end up spilling out of the front and having uniboob. If you're young and full-figured this might be a good bra, but if you're old and saggy, don't waste your money.

I so wanted to like this bra. After breast feeding 3 kids, I need a lot of support. It really looked like the racer back would give my back support and take the pressure off my shoulders. Sports bras lift the girls up too high, so I was really hopeful that the straps on this bra would help. The back is great, but there is no cup support. After I washed it on delicate and hung to dry, the cup support is non-existent. Definitely do not recommend if you need support.

I was not happy with the bra and I returned it. The lining of the cups fit and the cups were too big. The back did not fit close to my back at the bottom. It did seem to be made well as far as the material, but it just didn't fit at all.

This is one of the most uncomfortable bras I have ever purchased. The sides are cut way too high and actually cut me - and no, the bra was not too tight. It was loose in fact.

The cups seemed smaller than a G cup I loved the support the spillage wasn't so great the cup size seemed more like a D and I need bigger. So I had to send it back. I've lost 50 lbs so maybe the next 30 I can get into the G cup. Love the bra for the larger bust it is great..I Just need a bigger cup Laurie H from Wy

I think HerRoom and Elila should stop making excuses for all the Elila bras. They are the worst bras I've every worn, and I've worn them all. I don't know if they're made in outer space or what, but they are indeed the weirdest bras I've ever bought. The cup and band sizing on every Elila bra I've bought has always been way off. I stopped buying them, obviously. No one should waste their money on Elila - period.

Tomima's Response: I take great exception to your comment. The Elila brand is first-rate. I know the owner, Ellen personally. Her family started the Goddess brand, so she is keenly aware of full figure woman and their needs. She is also full-figured herself.

The fit was just awful. I have another similar bra in the same size and it fits beautifully. The only reason I ordered it was the color.

Elila Response: This is a heavy duty posture bra which means it has a lot of power in the back. All bras are made differently. I was very disappointed in this garment. The cup size didn't seem to run true to any other standard manufacturer, and fit oddly and small. The actual cups were either poorly designed or poorly sewn - they were lumpy and stuck out at odd angles. I was looking for a bra to take some of the stress off my shoulders - this wasn't it.

I didn't like the front/cups on this bra, the material was too stretchy and didn't support my breasts very well. I liked the back and sides, but the cups were definitely too stretchy. The layers of material weren't even...the bottom layer seemed to be smaller than the top. The top layer bunched up on top of the cup and created a line of fabric across the top of the bra. I really like the 1305 bra ( great support, shoulder straps and cup support) and was hoping for the same cup support in the 1415, now...if you could combine the back/sides from the 1415 and the front from the 1305...I'd never wear anything else! Also, I did read the "help" section, there is some really good information there, thanks for answering a couple of my questions!

Elila Response: They are different cups entirely. The 1305 is a three piece cup and the 1415 is a slanted 2 piece cup with side support. This bra does not separate the breasts but pushes them together toward the center of the body. Not very flattering. Perhaps this bra should have been made with underwires. Nevertheless, given the wide straps and posture back this bra should work well as a sports bra. Evelyn from Chicago, IL

I have myofrascial pain, have had 2 shoulder surgeries and have compressed disks in my back. In a 40F (size varies a little by manufacturer), it should be obvious that finding a comfortable bra is difficult. The racerback and front hook ease a lot of the pain. Even at 5'2", the sides don't seem too high, rather they seem like what is necessary for proper support. I am getting a rash under one breast. However, if I stand up straight, the back of the band gaps open while the front band still feels tight (maybe my body is weird). It gives me mono-breast because the center doesn't come close to fitting at the breat bone, which always seems to be a problem with soft cups. The girls point east and west instead of forward. I'd kill for a front hook posture bra with an underwire - why doesn't someone make these? I'm keeping it since it's the first bra I could tolerate for a few hours (without narcotics) in years. I ignored the bad reviews on this bra thinking maybe they got the wrong size but this is one of the most uncomfortable bras I have ever wore. If we're wearing a bra this size we are more than likely fat so we're going to have large arms, this chaffes in the front and back of the armpit because of how small the arm allowance is. The hooks dig into my chest where the band touches skin and it points the girls outwards...kind of triangular looking if you will. I really like this bra. It fits well and reins in "the girls." I like the way the bra covers the back bulges and comes up high under the arm, this creates a very smooth silhouette under clothes. The posture part of the bra back is fabulous, that's my favorite part. The only part I would like to see different is the adjustable strap. During the course of the day, the straps with the sliding clasp tend to move out my original spot and maximum breast support is lessened. Maybe the manufacturers could change the strap on the 1415 to the one used on model 1515. It has a locking clasp and after the strap is adjusted for fit and locked into place, provides better breast lift and support than the one used in model 1415. Additionally, I LOVE your website. HerRoom is the only site I've seen that shows the merchandise with front and back views, so customers don't make a mistake buying a bra that looks pretty from the front, only to have it not meet your needs in the back--Thank you for this added feature! The cup size was way too small and this style pointed the girls way out to the sides. The 38G Glamorise sports bra is just a little too small in the cup so I decided to try the 38H in this bra especially since someone else commented that the cup size ran small. I guess I should've ordered the 38J but I did run into other problems. The side support felt good except for near the front which hit too close under my arms similar to the chaffing problem that someone else mentioned. The fitter's comment about short stature does not apply since I am 5'8". It was a full inch higher under my arms towards the front than my 38G Glamorise sports bra. I was disappointed in the posture support in the back. It goes quite high on the back and shows under thick T-shirts and thick woven, dark colored cotton shirts alike. Between the high sides and the even higher back, plus the multihook front closure, this bra is extremely supportive. I noticed that the straps were stretchy and loose but I didn't even feel a need to tighten them and the girls probably would not have bounced even if I had done jumping jacks. I'll be judging all other bras compared to the support of this one. The seams in the bra cups were very flat and smooth and barely showed with a t-shirt. Anna from Colorado Springs, CO
