I ordered two of this brand, slightly different styles. One was back ordered for a month. I tried on the first one and it felt like wearing armor. The five hook panel constricted my breathing, very rib constricting and the cups looked like a bullet bra. The straps are not bad, but the clip to adjust it is hard metal and poked me no matter where I set it.

Elila Response:The Elila garments are full support so that means that they will not be stretchy and will give maximum control. It sounds like you are wearing a garment that is too small in the rib cage, which will affect the overall fit and placement of the shoulder strap buckle. cat from AZ

I love the support of this bra. It is probably the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. I have but one frown about it and that is that I have a narrow chest and the strap fasteners dig a little into the side of my arm. This I remedy by wrapping and tucking the straps end around the metal. Fabulous! I am happy! I have had other brand bras have dug into my arms to the point of extreme discomfort. That is not the case with this bra. It is more a need to cushion the metal. I would recommend this bra to anyone that needs support and comfort. Katie from Chattanooga, Tn. USA

This bra does support well. The straps don't bother my poor sunk in shoulders. Actually don't realize they are there. BUT, have real problems with the band rolling and becoming very uncomfortable during my 12 hour work days, and a normal day at home. It rides up on my back over time also. If I get it any smaller around then can't rotate it to the back after hooking it. Will probably reorder just for the pressure not being on my shoulders. Have never had a bra that didn't dig into my shoulders!

HerRoom Response: Your comments are curious. If the bra is rolling on the sides, this usually means the band is too tight. But, you say it also rides up the back which means the band needs to be smaller. IT sounds like this bra is not a good choice for you. Terri from Iowa, La

These are the most comfortable bras, no hooks or anything in back for the straps--all adjustments are made in front by simply lifting a lever, adjust the strap, then close the lever back. These bras do have 4 rows of hooks in the back which isn't real clear in their photo. The padded shoulder strap feature is also nice. I've now bought 4 of them now within 1 week! My Breasts are large and heavy and I have have issues finding a bra that fits well. I love the fit and comfort. It supports, it holds the girls in and it is pretty! I ordered a size 40K and this bra fit great. This bra gives such great support my breasts have never been positioned so high. My boobs look fantastic because they are not droopy anymore, and I get compliments again! Also the bra gives me great cleavage and my husband loves it too! If you are very heavy busted like me, try this bra, you will look and feel great. Ruth from Lima, OH

I have a 30.5" rib cage and a 46" bust. Bras are extremely hard for me to find. I purchased the 34N. The 34" band is plenty tight enough to fit a 32" rib cage. I would compare this bra to a 32O. Panache Tango 32K is comparable in size. For myself the fit of the cup is odd. It seems to be elongated under the breast. But it dose not seem to effect the fit, the excess just hugs the ribs. The padded shoulder straps are more cosmetic then functional. The bra offers good support. I would have given the bra 5 stars, but only gave it 4 stars for the cut of the cup. Brandie from NV

This bra is the best I've ever worn, and that's saying a lot. I've been a C cup or higher for over 35 years, so that's a lot of bras, and a lot of backaches. This supports without giving me a weird shape, and is comfortable to wear. Until I tried this bra, I thought a comfortable and supportive bra was an oxymoron. I love that the straps adjust in front and stay in place. I also love the colors. So far I have red, white, nude, and mocha, and I'm waiting for the lilac (or lavender) to come in. I may also get a black one for dark colors in winter. jill from california

I bought this bra to start replacing the old 46Ds (yes you heard me, I was that far off from my size now!) in my wardrobe. It was such a huge improvement, and I recommend anybody buying a bra to take a look at the fitting tips and charts on this site, especially if you've got large breasts. It's got very good coverage, but that means it's not the most breathable thing. In the 100 degree+ weather it's a little warm, but it breathes more than any bra I've had except sports bras. There's also a slight case of Madonna/cone-shape going on, but I expect that will get washed/worn out as I wear it more. This is the best-restraining bra I've had, one jump=one bounce with no aftershocks. With breasts this big, you can't ask for much more outside of an industrial-strength sports bra! Overall I'd say it was a great buy, and I love the padded straps. Kendal from Rogers, AR

I love this bra. I have been a C cup or better for 35 years, and I can say this is the best, most comfortable, most supportive, attractive bra, that offers the best shaping, that I have EVER worn. I own three which I purchased from another online retailer, and am buying two more here. I can even take a nap in this bra. Really. jill from san jose, ca

I was advised to try this bra in light of the discontinued bra that has been my standard bra. I found its cushioned straps to be a welcomed improvement! The fit is very supportive and the coverage is great for full-figured girls. The fabric is attractive...a bit stiff, but that may be due to it not having been laundered yet. Highly recommended for those requiring full-figured coverage and support in available colors beyond the standard white. SJames from Washington, DC

I love Goddess bras and usually wear style 304 which has been discontinued, although I don't know why. I needed to find a suitable replacement and this one seems good for me. The support and fit are adequate. I wish it came in more colors, like white and black.

On a personal note: I wish manufacturers would consider their customers before replacing best sellers like the 304 and 110. The old adage still applies, if it isn't broke then don't fix it. It has always been a challenge finding larger size, good fitting bras.

Elila Response: Our style 1305 does come in both white and black. Shirley from Bowie MD

This bra is wonderful. I really feel that support. Love the material it is made from - many bras show the outline of your breast and when you wear tee shirts you are forced to put a small amount of tissue or very thin fabric in the cups to keep people from seeing too much - but this material is very substantial. I will definitely be purchasing another bra from you hopefully within the very near future! Brenda from Pataskala Ohio USA
