I bought this bra to start replacing the old 46Ds (yes you heard me, I was that far off from my size now!) in my wardrobe. It was such a huge improvement, and I recommend anybody buying a bra to take a look at the fitting tips and charts on this site, especially if you've got large breasts. It's got very good coverage, but that means it's not the most breathable thing. In the 100 degree+ weather it's a little warm, but it breathes more than any bra I've had except sports bras. There's also a slight case of Madonna/cone-shape going on, but I expect that will get washed/worn out as I wear it more. This is the best-restraining bra I've had, one jump=one bounce with no aftershocks. With breasts this big, you can't ask for much more outside of an industrial-strength sports bra! I was advised to try this bra in light of the discontinued bra that has been my standard bra. I found its cushioned straps to be a welcomed improvement! The fit is very supportive and the coverage is great for full-figured girls. The fabric is attractive...a bit stiff, but that may be due to it not having been laundered yet. Highly recommended for those requiring full-figured coverage and support in available colors beyond the standard white. SJames from Washington, DC

I love Goddess bras and usually wear style 304 which has been discontinued, although I don't know why. I needed to find a suitable replacement and this one seems good for me. The support and fit are adequate. I wish it came in more colors, like white and black.

On a personal note: I wish manufacturers would consider their customers before replacing best sellers like the 304 and 110. The old adage still applies, if it isn't broke then don't fix it. It has always been a challenge finding larger size, good fitting bras.

This bra is wonderful. I really feel that support. Love the material it is made from - many bras show the outline of your breast and when you wear tee shirts you are forced to put a small amount of tissue or very thin fabric in the cups to keep people from seeing too much - but this material is very substantial. I am a Nurse and I stand all day. It is is so hard to find a bra in my size (38 or 40K, my choices are limited in this cup size) that is comfortable, provides good support and looks good. This Elila bra is perfect for my well endowed fiqure! My back and shoulders are no longer in pain at the end of my shift. Okay. Here it is. Straight talk. Anyone ordering the "really big girl" size of bra, as I must do, knows how difficult it is to find a bra that offers quality, excellent support at a price that doesn't require you to sell a kidney. Although we'd like to wear the lacey, fu-fu bras that those skinny models wear, uhm, well, that ain't gonna happen. Ever. The Elila Jacquard Cushioned Strap bra is an excellent choice! Comfortable and attractive too! Not fu-fu attractive but not our grandmother ugly either. Also, Her Room's presentation in their delivery of the bras, with the ribbon and lovely lavender tissue paper, was a personal touch that you rarely see anymore. Very firm, supportive and well fitting bra. My best fitting and favorite bra so far (I am new to wearing the correct size). It makes my breast look round, instead of that hated pointy look. My only problem is that the end of the cushion's seams are a bit itchy and poky. The thread seems harsh there. This is a problem that I think I can either fix or will wear down over time though, so I still strongly recommend trying this bra for yourself! Love the color choices and my husband loves this bra. This is BY FAR the most incredible bra out there for large busted women! Please don't change ANYTHING on this bra ... it is absolutely PERFECT! If you want to instantly look like you've had a breast lift .. try this bra. I originally purchased this through the catalog of another company who stopped carrying it. I was so glad to find it here on the web. Personally, I think Oprah ought to try this bra as I believe she would love it and feature it on "her favorite things" show. I give this a FIVE STAR rating! One of the most uncomfortable bras I have tried. The hardware for the straps cut into the area and the areas where the seams ended and the band abraded my skin.

I was first introduced to this bra at a custom bra shop and was professional fitted. I was amazed at the comfort and the fit. As the store is quite a distance from my home, I discovered I could order the same bras online and have them shipped to my home. I also discovered the matching underwear and ordered them as well. I wash on gentle cycle in a front load washing machine and always hang dry (my husband even knows to pull them out and hang them up). I purchased some bras three years ago and additional bras 1 year later. I am still wearing all of them and they still fit terrific. I do love this bra although it took me awhile to get used to it. I would love if this bra was made in a cooler fabric and had gel cushioned straps instead of the should pads, but I still like it. I did stitch the shoulder straps where I needed them which I always have to do to keep them from slipping. My usual size is 36I or 38H depending on the brand. I first tried a 38I after reading some of the comments about sizing. The cup was to big and the band to small. Next I tried a 40G, which probable would have worked except my breasts pointed toward my armpits with a flat area between. I am really disappointed because this is the first bra to give me the support I need. This bra was not designed for women with small rib carriages and large breasts.

The bra is comfortable and has great lift BUT........the straps do not stay put. The clasp that is on the front of the bra slides loose. Now when you are wearing a larger size I would think that the straps would support the girls. Yes I know that most of your support comes from the band and not the strap and for a wirefree bra it does its job BUT when your girls are a bit heavy you can't be at work and all of sudden you feel the straps sliding and next thing you know you no longer have good support. If the straps stayed put this would be a great bra. when it is right I don't feel like I am wearing a bra--it's that comfortable but the strap clasps are not dependable. It is a shame because the bra would be a 5 star for comfort and support but those straps make it 3 at best.

Elila Response: If your bust is very heavy and the straps won’t stay adjusted to your liking, I would recommend stitching the strap down exactly where you find it most comfortable to inhibit gravity from taking over. Slides help temporarily but generally every time you put your bra on you should double check the adjustments because they always move. Autumn from washington

Elila Response: I am sorry to hear that the garment didn’t meet your expectations or your current needs, our garments are firm support so if you are used to wearing a bra that has a lot of stretch in the band you might want to try and go up a band size with Elila and then re-evaluate the fit and support. although the cups fit very well, there is no give in the band making it very hard for someone with arthritis (like me) to get on. I would recommend going one band size bigger than normal to make it more comfortable. Also, the shoulder pads move around and I have trouble getting them on in the correct spot.

Elila Response: It’s helpful to place the shoulder pads before you put the garment on and you can keep them in place by tucking the excess strap into the pad itself to stabilize them. As for the back support, 60% of a garments support comes from the back of the bra and therefore the more firm the greater the support. You can try fabric softener when the garment is washed to give the garment a softer feel against the body. JI from Kentucky

It's very difficult for me to find a bra that fits. Especially one that isn't an underwire and that's pretty. This bra is high quality and it is pretty. The padded straps make it comfortable to wear all day. I just wish it was AVAILABLE in other colors... and, after wearing it (for months) the padded part of the strap starts to rotate. I took other reviewer's advice and ordered up a band and cup size (I usually wear a 40GG in Panache). While size and fit were correct, the bra was uncomfortable for me. The metal strap tabs seemed to dig in to my upper arms. Kelly from Aliso Viejo/CA/USA

With a 36K I don't get much choice of bra. This bra is a bit industrial but the fabric is firm, looks nice and comfortable. The straps are nice and wide but I find difficulty keeping the pads in place. I've never really been a jogger with a figure like mine and a walking disability but this bra is really good at keeping things under control. Sophie from California
