My only negative was that the item was on back order and took several weeks to arrive. I gave this away as a gift. The communication from the company was good. they kept me informed along the way. Beth from Claremont, Ca

this bra is comfortable if you buy the right size. There is almost no elastic in the band (which is fine if you adust for it) go up at least 1 band size (but be prepared you may have to send it back) once you get the right size its nice. A little scratchy at first but after washings and wearings I don't feel it anymore! I will definately be buying more of these bras. Ashley A from Corning, NY, USA

The elastic in the band is extremely firm. So much so that even going up 2 band sizes I could not stretch it around me to fasten it. I managed to fasten it in the front but it was so tight I couldn't turn it. I think if I could try it on to find the correct fit without having to ship the wrong sizes back and forth, I might like the bra. I've already shipped 2 back. I'm done with this brand.

Our bra has very firm control so that when you take your band measurement you will need to add a few more inches or check your underarm measurement around your back and use that as your band size in order to get the fit that would be best for you. Joy from Indiana

Bra is well made and and I like the padded straps tha adjust in the front. However, it fits like armor - here is the problem - I followed your site's advice and measured carefully- why does a bra that is sized "44" measure less than 39 inches at the band? It is tight - I cannot wear it for more than a few hours - eventually it will stretch or I may lose a few pounds. But, I have about 6 bras - all sized 44 and they all measure something much less, and all are different. Renee from Philadelphia, PA

I had one of these bras from a few years ago and wanted to try this brand again when I was looking for a soft cup instead of an underwire. I was not disappointed! Great fit, even though the larger cup size meant 5 fasteners instead of 4. I was able to wear it all day, and had no discomfort at all. S.C. from Nashville, TN

This turned out to be the answer for me!! I'm full figured and my girls are very different sizes, so finding a bra that works on both sides and is comfortable is a real challenge. I've been using another Elia bra, but this one gives more support and the shoulder straps stay up. I'm definitely getting another one. Beverly from Richmond, VA

I purchased this for my sister, who is disabled. She is very short, but heavier and rather large busted. Many times the larger bras have straps that don't adjust short enough, which is why this bra is so great. The pads on the shoulders are nice, too. Support is very good, and she is not falling out of the cup. Barbara from New Richmond, WI

I have worn a 36 for decades. This one left a 4 inch gap between ends. There was no way I could even close this! All my other bras, I have always worn on the tightest hook. I couldn't even get it on to evaluate it. Big disappointment.

I am sorry to hear about the band size. Elila manufacturers their bras with a longer band length than most brands. I would suggest trying Jacquard Front Close Softcup Bra 1515. This is a front closure that you might find more accommodating. Lynda from Danville, CA

Best bra for support. No give in fabric and very well made. Wish straps were wider and more padding, but better than any other bra I have found to support larger breasts so far. This is the best supporting bra with no wires or boning and has a nice variety of colors. Ruth from Lakeland, FL-US

This bra was comfortable and sturdy feeling, but when I tried it on it seemed that something was not right. I finally compared it to my old, worn out Playtex bra (which supposedly is 2 cup sizes too small) by looking in the mirror and saw the problem: my breasts in this bra sat a good 2 inches lower on my chest than in the old one. I tried cinching up the straps but the girls didn't levitate any. There's no way I want my breasts residing halfway between my shoulders and my waist!! Am going back to the too-small Playtex which seems to fit better and costs 1/3 the price. Heather from Albany OR USA

There is nothing I liked about this bra. The band on a 42 was only 37 inches long. It didn't even come close to fitting. When I ordered a larger band size, I found the cups to be far too small and, naturally, the straps made my shoulders ache almost instantly. The cups made my breasts point more towards my sides than forward and gave them a very conical shape. There are almost no bras in my size, and this, despite it's stated size, is not one of them. LD

Great garment as I wear them everyday, great fitting too. Being the biggest girl in the office I'm always being stared at but these bras give me a natural shape as the larger cups fit well and I'm not so paranoid now.. Jayne from Chesham.

Cup size ran true. The rest of the bra ran small. I wish I could have ordered it as a 46. Carolyn from Cuyahoga Falls, oh, USA

This bra has no give. For someone who is large busted this is not a good bra. It is very painful to wear. I only used mine twice and now it's going in the trash. Penny from Bella Vista, AR

The bra was the wrong size in the cup and around- too tight and I was pouring out. Plus I didn't care for the extra shoulder pads, I know what they are for...to help support the girls, but it is extra bulk to show when trying to keep your bra straps out of view. Dawn from The Woodlands, TX

I ordered this bra, because of all the great reviews, most of the bras that I purchase only support for a few weeks. I put this bra on and it felt like it could do the job, my breast stood up and had a pointy shape, which I could deal with, but IT WAS KILLING MY SHOULDERS RIGHT AWAY, I found the strap to be very uncomfortable. I usually order DDD(3D) but I always come out the bottom, so I thought I'd try a G cup, this is my first time ordering cup size G, and I was bulging out the sides. It felt too small for me, I don't know what to do about this bra. Will a larger cup size eliminate the strain/pain on my shoulders? Please help!!! Ericka from West Palm Beach, Fl

I took off comfort strap part and had to sew the straps. The clasps were OK. They held. The front band is not elastic only the back section is elastic. The band is kind of tight...even going up 1 size. I wore it and will continue to wear it. It's too expensive not to wear. Cup support is good. TXChik from Tyler, TX

Excellent Bra and excellent fit (42N) can wear it all day inspite of having such a large bust, I don't feel as nervous in public anymore as I fit into this bra and don't bulge out of the top.. a bonus as I'm a teacher. I even join in with netball now, as I used to fall out of my older bras. Karen from hemel hempstead
