Not only was the band too small, but the cup was too small as well! It was also not comfortable at all. Jenn from Vancouver, WA USA

For a full figure lady, I found this item to be well fitted and comfortable. I received it in a timely manor and fond the item to be well constructed and pretty. Thanks Mary from La Vergne, TN

Maybe it is just me, but this is the worst bra I have every bought. I read many of the reviews and was excited to receive the bra only to be immediately disappointed. The fit is off. The band was way too small, which causes it to curl up when worn. Where do I start with the straps? The pads are bulky and look terrible under clothes. I think I got a lemon because both of the pads are facing the same direction so I had to turn one the wrong way so it would fit on my shoulder. The metal clasp that holds the strap for adjustment has cut into my skin leaving a painful scar. This is not the bra for me. Kim from Alaska

This bra is very pretty, supports my breasts well, and is very comfortable. I thought I was going to love the adjustable shoulder pads, but found they they slid all over. The bra was just as comfortable without them so they went in the trash. This bra is not stretchy at all and fits very high under the arms making it a bit hard to put on. I love the color and it washes just fine with the rest of the laundry. A+ from Spring, TX

This bra had the worst cone boob I have ever tried on. Why do bra makers think cone boob is a good thing? It looks horrible and the bigger the boobs the worse that it appears. Kiwi from Colorado

Bra was very bulky feeling. I need an underwire, but it was stated that this bra had wonderful uplift without them. Lilac color was pretty, but not for me. Judy from Summerfield Florida

This is my second time buying this bra, and I absolutely love it even more than I did the first time! I first bought this bra a few years back in a size 42K and I loved how comfortable it was and how it was able to support my very heavy breasts, but after about a month and a half, the plastic clasps broke and I started my search for the perfect bra elsewhere. Since then I've gotten a bit heavier and so have my breasts which feel much heavier, so I decided to check this bra out again, and I read that the clasps had been changed from the dreaded plastic to metal. I am now the proud owner of this bra in a 44N and I couldn't be happier! I'm no longer worried or paranoid that one of the clasps is gonna break from the weight of my breasts while I'm out and about. Its amazing that the one adjustment to the clasps has made me feel 10x better about this bra than I did before! Paislee from South Carolina

I can't speak to the true fit of this bra. The 36 only measured out to 32". I put an extension on it but it made the straps too far apart to be comfortable. Jena from TX

The cups were a bit too large, so I have some bunching, not a lot, but some. Also, the material is incredibly scratchy, so for me, it was a very uncomfortable bra. I have been looking for a good, comfortable wire-free bra, which is hard to find for larger busts. This one is not it. Linda

I bought this according to my universal size and found the band size to be too small and the cup size too large. Definitely not true to size. I might try it in a 36K because it does seem to offer a lot of support for a no-underwire bra, but it has a very 'cardboard'-y feel to me. A'ishah from Lawrence, KS USA

This is the only bra I have found that really fits. The cups are really accommodating. The 7" wide side bands and five hook back give great support and help relieve the strain on my shoulders. My bust is very large and heavy but this bra really does the job. A bit scary to look at in the 50N but really comfortable to wear Steff from UK

The fit is really about the best I've found, but I found this bra to be uncomfortably stiff. My work requires a wide range of motion and with 12-hour shifts the lack of flexibility of this bra caused a lot of discomfort. Not having pinchy underwire is great, but the nearly cardboard feel when the bra is on pretty much negates that. The stiffness is a surprise, because when I hold the bra in my hands the fabrics feel very flexible. Perhaps softer, more flexible materials would decrease the wear life of the garment, but it would be worthwhile in my opinion. Karima from Bloomington, IN, USA

This bra is the best if you have large and heavy breasts. I am a 40H and have have a difficult time finding a bra that is gives me support and comfort all day. When I first tried this bra on, I loved the lift and support but I found my correct 40 band size constricting, the cups and straps "stiff". But after reading other reviews, I wore the Elita Jacquard bra a few hours and the bra become much more comfortable. Now the the bra is" broken in '"-I love it! The wide padded straps, wide sides and back now give me support and comfort all day and evening. I have purchased three more Elila Jacquard Bras and this has become my everyday bra! The only negative is the 50"s retro styling of the cups. I can now walk around confidently all day, with by breast firmly supported and no bounce or sway even in walking in high heels! This bra is very well made with very high quality fabric and 4 hook adjustments on the back, it should last and fit well for a long time. Ann from Marborough MA

Most supportive bra I've found so far in an L cup. Reasonably comfortable. Has laundered well several times (I was in machine but hang to dry). I do wish it had metal adjusters on the straps. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Kay from Arkansas

Poor fit. Band is more like a 38 than a 42. Cup size is okay, but the structure of the garment forces the breasts together and does not provide adequate support. SCP from Avondale, PA USA

The material is beautiful and the bra seems to be a comfortable fit if I had the correct size. The band size was perfect but the cup size was way too big. I returned the bra and I ordered a replacement in size 34DD. Lou from Brooklyn, New York

I just tried this bra in 34J mocha. This bra is very pretty and thoughtfully designed. It seems like a quality product that would last a long time. The strap adjustment system is something I'd never seen before and liked it. This might be the most supportive non-compression soft cup bra I have ever tried, so if you want firm non-wire support, try it. However, I am returning it this one. I found the fabric too stiff and scratchy for me and I know it would drive me crazy. That's just me - I have sensitive skin, might not bother other women. Oh, I did feel the cups run a little bit large. If I had decided to keep this bra, I would have had to exchange it for a cup size down. I am 34J (D7) and although the band was a nice fit, the cups had quite a bit of extra room on both sides. So keep that in mind if you're between sizes. Hope that helps someone!
