It fits! does not run up the back and does not cut into your shoulders or back. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I have been happy with the purchase. The only issue I have is that the band is a bit tight. Kay from MN

I do a lot of high impact workouts, and this bra was great, and it doesn't give you that smashed boob look. I will order this bra again...best one I have ever had! Laura from Roger/Ar.

After trying a good number of sports bras, this is the one that works best for me that I have found so far. There is basically little to no bounce that results in un-happy girls. It even looks reasonable without the “mono-boob” effect with many compression sports bra that do not support nearly as well. The fabric breathes well on very hot days of over 100 degrees and serious problem with cotton based sports bras. While the band fit is initially tight when initially put on, it does conform and helps the bra stay put where it needs to be. I put this bra on with the band hooks just above my waist and rotate the bra 180 and adjust the bra in place from the bottom up, this appears to be the easier way to put on this bra. The straps are somewhat stretchy; one might start out snug and work down on the adjustment over time. I’m on the bike several times each week for several hours, which requires a bra and clothing to be comfortable, and this bra does pretty much what is needed with comfort for the duration. They last about 8 months for me if the several I own are used not more than once a week for each 2 to 5 hour bike ride. By then, they can be pretty tired and on the last set of band hooks. I hand wash the bra in the shower after my bike ride and hang to dry. Bernice from Sunnyvale

I thought I was purchasing the same style that I had purchased previously, which I loved. Unfortunately, I didn't order the correct style number this time. Although the bra that I got was OK, I still liked the old one the best (I can no longer read the style number on the label because it is faded). The new bra does not fit as well, even though it is the same size as the other style. It does not feel as snug around the band and the cup seems a bit too big. It is pretty comfortable, I guess. This bra would probably be fine for someone else; but since I was so partial to the other Donna Karan sports bra that I bought a couple of years ago, the new style was a bit of a letdown. However, I chose to keep the new style vs. return it. Size: 38DD Cleriece from Norfolk, VA

I was disappointed because I thought it would be a bra which would be comfortable to wear under my running tops - way too much fabric for that! does anyone make a running bra that you can wear UNDER your running tops? On the other hand I can see wearing it alone in hot weather.

HerRoom Response: This bra is meant to wear under running tops. However, it is the look to have parts of your sports bra show under running tops. A sports bra needs to cover more area in order to provide appropriate support. Jann from Hilton Head Island

This is the very BEST sports bra's ever. I have tried many different ones, even ordered the NATORI bra on this site, to try something new... but am returning it. This is the best for high impact, reducing bounce. I do 5-7 miles a day on elliptical or treadmill, and this is irreplaceable! VM from Scarsdale, NY

I really love this bra. Very good support, especially on the sides. No fat allowed to bulge. Daryl

Three and a half stars. I've been wearing this bra for years. My sports bra search ended here -- not because this one is the ultimate but because it was so much better than anything I'd worn before. It has good side support but the top of the center panel tends to pull away from my body. If it clung a bit tighter, I think I'd get less bouncing. I also think it could be improved if the side panel were extended across the full bottom of the cup. As it is, I cannot run in this bra, and high-impact moves are uncomfortable. If I stick to low-impact, cardio machines, sculpting and Pilates, I'm OK.

Take Tomima's advice and size up in the band. This bra does stretch out but probably not enough for you to get your regular size. If you're like me, you won't even be able to get your regular size around your body without great strain. Eventually you will want to move the hook into the tightest position. I also start off with the shoulder adjustment one off the tightest position then move it to the tightest after the bra stretches. I have five of these in rotation, and I'd say they are ready to toss after six to nine months depending on how much use each particular one gets. At least one reviewer mentioned extra material in the nipple area. I get this too, but I find that the problem disappears after I've worn the bra a few times and it conforms to my shape.

A little aside: This is the rare sports bra that you could get away with under street clothes if you have to. The cups look smooth, the wires give enough separation (no uniboob!), the shape it gives is not horrendously odd, and it's fairly comfortable. Kitty from New York

For some reason this bra doesn't fit as well as the Lily of France. I'm 44 and it lifts up too high so I have fat pockets under the arm of the bra so it's uncomfortable to move and will chafe. I've tried all the strap adjustments. The cups just don't seem to fit as well (extra fabric right around the nipple area). Lily of France fits exactly. Jody from Mooresville, NC

This was a comfortable bra, true to size except the straps were too long ( I am 5'1"). It was not the most supportive of the 7 i tried. I kept the natori 34439 and the lunaire 11111. taphath from charlotte, nc

The underwire at the top between the cups pokes out a bit, and shows through my tee shirts. I read another persons review here, and will try to adjust it at home later. If not, I will need to return. Too bad, otherwise I really like the fit. The band does run a tad on the small side. Ann from Medford/MA

I love this bra! I am a triathlete and it transitions great from the swim, to bike to run. I am always dry by the run, even in sprint triathlons! My only wish is that it came in black. Wet white bras show too much and transitions are out in the open for anyone to see. I love the bra so much though, that I am willing to overcome the embarrassment (and it helps me transition that much faster). Joie from Washington

Nice fit, comfortable around body and shoulders. But you need to adjust the center wire or it sticks out and makes a "hump" in your shirt.

HerRoom Response: When the underwires stick out in the center, this usually means the cup size is too small, or you have not put your breasts completely into the cups. Jessica from KY

Great fit, very comfortable but not enough support for high impact aerobics. However, I am yet to find a sport bra that provides enough support to eliminate all bounce. Linda from Columbus Ohio

Most women don't think they need underwire for for a sports bra, but the "inside out" construction of this one is fabulous. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Very supportive for intense activity such as soccer, sprinting and jumping drills. Can't believe I didn't have one 10 years ago. Like the fact that you do get to keep your chest shape rather than be flat. Bianca from Manchester,PA

This is the most comfortable supportive sports bra I ever wore! So much better than the Natori. If you're petite, try this bra. I'm considering buying more for everyday wear. My boobs do not move when working out, and the wires rest on my chest like they should. Awesome! Mona from Ohio

I first discovered the Donna Karan sports bra about 4 years ago. This is the only sports bra I will wear for high impact work-outs. Very comfortable....Very supportive.... Natasha from Malibu, CA USA
