I returned this item because I did not like the underwire-on-the-outside construction. The underwires just slip around too much that way and pinch and bruise - - Ouch!!! Also I did not like the very heavy bulky fabric it is made of. It's just too hot all year round in this part of the country for that. Juliet from Texas

The fit is off- it was too tight and small for me, I think this brand must run small.

Donna Karan Response: I have never heard this complaint before if the correct size is being worn. Depending on the manufacturer, each bra may fit a little different depending on the function it is to perform. This style offers a very high level of support thus having more functional properties to ensure optimum support for all level of activity. The wire on the outside stretches the cup to give a smooth shape and maximum protection for high impact activity. My recommendation would be to have you adjust the front "lift" hooks that vary the degree of support that you may want with different activities. They may be set to tight for your comfort level and thus creating a feeling of "tightness". Go down one or two levels to see if this works. This is one of the top selling bras that Donna Karan offers. It has been ranked in the top 3 selling sport bras in the country. Jessica from Alpine

Great support and doesn't show seams. I wear it as my regular bra as well as a sport bra. I ordered one size up as the band seemed tight on my usual 36C size. I love this bra and would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to 'bounce' while moving. Jeannie from Cambridge, MA

I ordered my usual size and it fit perfectly. I would prefer more structure in the cups but overall I liked it. I do have trouble at times with it wrinkling or bunching up at the underarm, but not always. Pam from Brush Prairie WA

Well constructed but way to tight on me. Had to return for a 36C. Debra from NY

Liked the concept but could not use it because the cups were not structured enough for the support I needed in dance exercise classes. As an all around soft cup with under wire support it felt like it would hold up for yoga, or weight bearing exercise, bicycling, walking or leisure wear. Julia from Salem, Or USA

Perfect Fit and most importantly, the shape of my breast has never looked better under my clothes. I wear it as an every day bra and I feel greatly comfortable. I have it in 3 colors and I think my purchase was worth it After reading the comments of others I was worried that the width would be tight but it was PER-FECT Thank you so much for making such amazing bras for big sized breast women. I am tall and very fit but my breasts are sometimes hard to manage. No anymore! Elsie from Montreal/Quebec/Canada

With extenders the bra fits nice (a little snug but it is an exercise bra) and provides separation. I like that the shoulder adjustments are hooks that fit into separate loops on non-stretch fabric so that the shoulder is less likely to give when exercising. Have not exercised in it yet, but tried jumping up and down and seemed to keep the girls in nicely. Will update once I exercise. Thanks to other reviewers, I ordered the bra extenders with this bra. I like this bra...I bought it so that I could have less pain while working out and it has helped some. I don't know if I got the wrong size, the cup is fine and the band is fine but it rubs in the armpit area, especially when doing cardio. I have adjusted the straps and the band and still have the rubbing. I do however like this bra under normal clothes. As long as I am not doing anything too physical it doesn't rub. I am happy overall. Renee from Dayton, Ohio

I was originally skeptical of an underwire exercise bra. Traditionally I have used compression bras but I was just tired of squashed boobs. This bra is very comfortable while working out, even when I am sweating hard from a good cardio session, and motion and bouncing are minimal. I am very pleased. I can even see wearing it as a weekend bra. Michelle

This bra is amazing. It never gets tired. I have had one for six months and wear it almost every day and it remains supportive. It also flatters. I look perky in it. Alisa from United States

Agree that you should order a band size bigger...but it still was uncomfortable for me. It is a well made bra but I have others I think offer the support with more comfort. I never forget this bra is on when I'm wearing it. Lisa from Chicago

Seems like a well made sports bra but I had to return it because the band size is not accurate. I always wear a 34 but this bra fit so tightly around the rib cage, even on the loosest setting, that it was painful and restrictive. Straps were comfy and I liked the fit otherwise. If you want to try this bra definitely order one band size larger than you usually would. Tara from Maine, USA

One of my favorite sports bra for DD support. I can wear it for high impact sports as well as low -golfing - gives an attractive, uplifted, comfortable shape. I have several other favorite bras but this is the only one endured repeated washings without having the wires poke through. ME from Boston

I've been buying and wearing these for years. They are very comfortable as a sports bra or under a tee shirt but they are a little too "industrial strength" for wearing under light or nice clothes. I need lace for that. jahroni from Seattle

I am so pleased to find a sports bra that comes in my size and doesn't make me look like I have a uni-bosom! I normally wear a 30 band and decided to give this bra a try based on the comments that band runs small. I did find that I had to go down a cup size. DD(cup size I wear in regular bra)was a little bit too big. I love the way the underwire fits. This bra is comfortable and supportive eough for step aerobics and dance exercise. Mary from SC, USA

I really love this bra and have gone from a 36DDD to a 34DD thanks to finally having something I can exercise in!!!! Please keep making these. I wish DK would make one in the racer-back styles! I have washed my bra's continuously and they hold up fabulous! sheryl from az

I LOVE this bra - it does everything, keeps your girls in place, lifts and separates... truly fantastic. I wear it while jogging and jumping rope. My only comment for improvement is to make the cups a bit thicker or more lined so when it's cold out, it's not so, ahem, nipply? Laura from WA, United States

I must say that color does matter. I own 3 black DK identical bras, and I love them. I teach and practice pilates daily so I needed a bra for everyday of the week so I could wear and wash my bras daily. The black ones hold up nicely and look nice and don't look odd when they show through my clothing. However, the white bras--same size, for whatever reason, fit different, look awful when wearing a tank top, and feel wrong. They are see-through enough, that I am self conscious about having a wardrobe malfunction if my shirt dips too low, and they are shaped just so that I feel like people assume I have had implants--which would be fine, except I don't want people to think that I bought my way to my figure, as I want them to realize that working out enhances the shape naturally (ie--the cups fit awkwardly--making my chest appear bigger and stacked--whether that is a problem is in the eye of the beholder, for me, they get in the way, I wear a D afterall!). Again, for the black bras, I love the fact that the underwire is on the outside, makes sure to not give the uni-boob look, and it still looks like a sports bra, I wouldn't feel embarrassed if I were working out in the hot sun and stripped down to the bra--the white one on the other hand, would never do this! Mainly the nipple see-through thing, but even still it looks more like a nursing bra then a sports bra! If I hadn't worn and washed the white ones, I bought several, I would return them and exchange them in a heartbeat! Melissa from Austin/TX
