Finally I was able to find a good underwire for 42C. I love the bras but was disappointed that the clasp (in the front) are made from plastic instead of metal. I am afraid they won't last. This bra is so confortable, I can't believe it! The fit is perfect for me and I actually have a wasteline again. Being 70, everything falls to the laws of gravity. I ordered a 42 instead of a 38 after reading other reviews that the bra ran small and it fits perfectly. I only wish it were a little more padded just for modesty's sake. Other than that I like it. This bra has good coverage, support and looks nice under clothes. I am short and have a hard time finding bras that really support ... I decided to get a front closure hoping this may make the difference. This racerback design does help distribute the weight differently than back closure bras and feels better. I still have sore shoulders from the straps but until I find an anti-gravity bra I guess I will have to deal with that. As far as helping with posture - no, it does not. The back material is not thick enough and straps are not wide enough for posture support. But I do like the bra, it's #1 in my collection right now! LTshopper from Hot Springs, AR

I have always had a heavy bust, and have been having pain/stiffness in my shoulders for some years, so I went hunting for an 'industrial strength' underwire bra with seamless cups and no padding that fastened in the front, but didn't look like something my Grandma would have worn...after all, I'm only 73! this is a very well-made garment; smooth, comfortable cups without 'itchy' interior seams, stable underwires that don't work their way through to poke you in the armpit, straps wide enough to take the weight without cutting into your shoulders. I would prefer the straps to be more widely spaced in the back so that they don't ride quite so high on the shoulders; they do have a tendency to show at the neckline of summer garments. even so, this is the best bra I have found for my needs...please keep it available. just wish it came in white! I buy my wife's bras because it is so difficult to find her size locally. The Curvation front closing bra is one of the few that is wearable, forget any real choice of color (don't large breasted women wear white?) Previous Curvations have seemed poorly stitched and the underwire has forced its way through the fabric after only a few wearing. This last order seems stronger and better put together. I have arthritis of both shoulders and the options of front closure bras is VERY limited and I don't care for the T-strap design as the straps consistently are exposed as they laid too near to my neck and not on my shoulders as they should. This works for me! Diana from San Antonio, TX

I didn't have my hopes up in finding a comfortable fit, but this bra is the only one I will buy from now on. After reading other readers' comments about it being a tad small, I bought 2 sizes larger than a back hook style thinking I could always run a seam on each side if needed, but it is a perfect fit.
