Purchased this bra as a gift for my Mother. Following 2 strokes she has problems with hooks so I decided that these may work better for her. I didn't read the description well...this bra is padded and Mom didn't like it. The pads are not stationary and presented a problem for her. It is a pretty bra though.

Coobie Response: Hello - We're happy that you find the bras pretty! We find that the removable pads generally make everyone happy. If a wearer does not like them they can simply be removed or any other pad or form can be inserted. Melody from Texas

I regularly wear a 30FF bra. The Coobie bra holds fairly well and gives the chest an appearance somewhere between the sports bra look, and the regular bra look. It does not give any kind of protection against shock/impact in the way that a sports bra functions, but if you're just walking around and doing casual activities, the bra does well. The straps are actually detachable, so you can make the straps cross back or halter, which is very nice. The fabric is very comfortable and breathable. I was concerned because the bra does not have cups that keeps each breast separate so you don't get sweaty cleavage after a long day, but that little pinch in the middle of the front fabric keeps the breasts separate enough for comfort. I tested 3 of these bras over the course of 3 days. I work in a hot kitchen and stand on my feet for about 12 hours. The bra did well. The straps could be a tad wider, as they dig in a bit, but not terribly so. And remember, this is after 12 hours of sweating and moving around in a busy kitchen. The part of the straps that dug in were mostly the plastic parts that adjust the length of the strap, which is part of the reason for taking one star away. The other reason would be for the shifting pads. After 12 hours, the pads had rotated or shifted off to the side. Not sure at which point in time along the 12 hours they had actually shifted to a position that was unacceptable. The pads are the perfect thickness for smoothing out the nipple area without adding bulk, however if the pads float around too much, this defeats its intended purpose. I understand that the pads need to be removable, but there must be some way to create a more ideal solution. Either way, this bra is one of the best in its class. I've been waiting for something like this. Although improvements can be made, it is still worth the purchase. Would I wear this under a cocktail dress to a party? Probably not, as there are other bras that give better shape, but I would recommend this for anyone who wants something comfortable to lounge around in, or for wearing under casual clothing on a daily basis, or for long days doing low impact work... Just buy it already. ghp

This bra exceeded my expectations! I had a breast reduction 10 years ago and am still a 34DD/36D depending on what clasp I use. This bra is as comfortable as everyone says, and I found it more so after I took the pads out. I have other comfortable bras, but they smoosh the girls together and I end up with a uniboob, but not with this bra! And though I agree a wider strap would be more comfortable for those with more ample bossoms, I like that the skinnier straps just look like you are layering tanks. I certainly wouldn't call the straps uncomfortable or painful, though. If you are considering buying this bra, just do it! I will be buying many more! Dawn from Texas

It's great for mastectomy patients. I use this with fiberfill prosthesis -- so much more comfortable than a regular prosthesis. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I have medical issues that created severe back deformities. I've not been able to find a bra that either fit or was comfortable for over 20 years, until hearing about Coobie. Ginny from NY USA

Great comfort- I have replaced all my other bras with the coobie! I am small busted with a small frame- the coobie does not (for me) enhance like an ordinary padded bra, but it is a small price to pay for such comfort! damatapa from san mateo, ca

This bra is pretty much what I epxected, it is very comfortable although not supportive. I bought it to wear under TShirts, really just so I don't have any show through going on.It does the trick. I only wish the padding was sewn in becuase in the wash it moves around. I have found it's best to take the pads out and handwash them. So if you are just looking for something to keep the girls from jumping all over and need a little extra coverage this is a good bra. Fran from Leominster, MA USA

This is too big for me at 32b size 0. I thought I would be fine reading how most people thought it was too small, but for me this is too loose! The banding rides up until it ends up cutting my boobs in half. It's not tight enough to provide any kind of support from the bottom and parts of the bra bunch up and look bad under shirts. I wish there was a petite option. I bought a few in excitement but I don't feel right returning intimate items. I will try to stitch up the sides or put elastic in the bottom...

Coobies Response: Thanks for trying our product. It is highly unusual that it would not fit you being a 32B as they do fit most 32B's. We'll take a look at making a petite size as well. M from Los Angeles, CA

Product is cheap. Doesn't fit, not true to size, uncomfortable, and worse, when I returned it was refused credit since I opened the package to try the product on. Never again!

Coobie Response: We pride ourselves on excellent quality and comfort. While it may not have fit you we have thousands of happy customers that they fit extremely well. We appreciate your feedback. Kris from gonzales, la

The Coobie bra was recommended by a (very buxom) friend as a comfortable bra because it has no underwires yet gives support. I got excited--I'm a 36D--and decided to try it. I was disappointed, by the straps, which are so thin that they cut into my shoulders. I had to return the bra. The straps need to be wider.

Coobie Response: Thank you for the feedback Katherine, you may want to try our Full size which has wider straps and will fit you as well. Katherine from Brooklyn, NY

It is wonderful! It definitely makes boobs look better than a traditional sports bra or tube bra. It is comfortable and the straps never fall down or slip. Only complaint is the material makes me kinda hot. Right now in Winter that is ok, not sure about the summer though. Virginia from texas

The bra is very nice; however, as a 42C, even the plus is way too snug. Alls well that ends well in this case, my mother loves it and it fits perfectly (she's around a 38B).

Coobies Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra was not a good match for you, but we're soo glad it works perfectly for your Mom! Virginia from Alexandria, VA

These are very comfortable bras and because of my breast size (DDD) I need the added support even at night so I sleep in one. This is, as has been stated repeatedly, NOT a support bra. It's a comfort bra, which means that it has some support but not like standard bras. My only complaint is that the straps are a little too narrow for a plus size bra and they occasionally twist or flip over. If Coobie ever re-engineers this bra, I hope they'll address this issue by widening the straps. Maria from Melbourne, FL

Nice fabric. seemed to be well made. One size fits all was way off. Im a size 12 and I couldnt get the bra over my head. Way too small.

Coobies Response: Please select the "plus size" size - which should work well for you. It fits sizes up to 42DD. Also, step into this bra and pull up rather than trying to pull it on over your head. Faye from Mableton GA

While soft and otherwise comfortable, it was too tight around. I was hoping the Plus size would be roomier.

Coobies Response: Dear Comfort Queen - we'll take a look into making a "roomier" size in the near future. Thank you, Comfort Queen from Davis, CA USA
