Chantelle Sublime Invisible Spacer Bra 3951 Reviews

Disappointed. Especially considering cost. Not very supportive for a 36F. Straps are too stretchy and cups don't provide a lot of support. That being said, the biggest problem is the hooks. Back hooks stay in great. Front hooks pop out on one side leaving the other to pike holes through the tab. The very first time I put it on in cross body, which is why I bought this contour bra, the hooks popped out every time I moved. As a lover of Chantelle bras I'm sad this one didn't work. I'm thinking of going with the highly recommended Empreinte bra for large breasted women.

I love this bra. I recently bought both the black and nude, for about the 6th time. It has been my favorite for several years now. It is so comfortable and gives me so much support. I love that you can adjust the straps so they lay more narrow around the shoulders. I find that it gives me more support and lift and the straps never fall down my shoulders like most bras do. I like that it has full coverage so it's great for t-shirts or thin blouses, but doesn't have the extra padding so many styles have. I don't need that. The adjustable straps in the front I don't understand because I don't think it would be enough support as a strapless bra but the newer version clasps hold the straps in well. The older version I found to be less secure and the straps would randomly pop off which was very annoying and could be embarrassing to have your bra strap hanging out the back of your shirt if you didn't realize it came undone. I love Chantelle bras, but this one seemed to flatten my chest, I think because the space between the cups is too large for me. I sent them back and got the C Chic Sexy 3-Part Plunge Underwire Bra instead which I love, provides great support and beautiful shape.

Chantelle Response: The Sublime 3951 is a average figure bra and could cause the flattening you discribed. You may need to go up a cup size in this style or try the Chantelle C Chic Sexy Spacer Foam T-Shirt Bra 3585 which offers a different fit than the 3951. The cup depth is very important to how a bra fits, supports and feels. Since a 3 part cup works well you may want to try a full coverage T-shirt bra such as Chantelle Rive Gauche Full Coverage T-Shirt Bra 3286 orChantelle Pure Full Coverage Convertible T-Shirt Bra 3616 . I was delighted to find this bra on HerRoom.com after our local store stopped carrying it. I love this bra, it is my favorite for everyday. The fabric is so comfortable, and the straps can be moved inwards at the back so that they don't show under sleeveless tops. Best of all, once the straps have been moved they don't slip off my narrow shoulders, unlike almost every other bra I have owned. I hope Chantelle never stops making this bra. I like this bra except for the new design that holds the straps in the back. I have had two bras that turned out to be impossible to take them out of the holder so as to put them in closer to the fastners. I had to return each of them because the holders had been sown incorrectly and would not allow the holder to slide out. For what these bras cost, this should not happen. Makes you wonder where quality control is. It took me getting to the supervisor to get this remendied, sending it back and then waiting at least 3 weeks to receive the new one. I first rated this bra last August, right after purchasing it. I'm going to downgrade my review for the following reasons. 1) One of the straps keeps slipping out in front and it's not cool to try to reattached your bra strap in public. 2) with a 32 G cup a 2 hook closing really doesn't do the job of supporting all that breast tissue and cuts into my sides. (and it's not too small in the band) I still love Chantelle, but I probably won't buy this bra again.

Chantelle Response: We would suggested you try 2 other spacer styles from Chantelle: the C Chic Sexy bra 3585 and Icone bra 3858. Both of these spacer cup bras offer great support, a rounded shape and breathable cups. I feel like, recently, I have tried EVERY t-shirt bra style recommended to those who are large-busted but small-chested, and I haven't been happy with ANY of them. So I bought this bra fully expected to return it, just like all of the others. I was also worried that it probably wouldn't fit, since I tend to be between sizes and I've had hit-or-miss luck with Chantelle's sizing consistency. But all of those worries? Gone. Literally as soon as I put this bra on, I said out loud, "This is the t-shirt bra I've been looking for!" It is soft and smooth and fits very nicely. I love the adjustable straps. Trying it on, this bra fit well. When I tried wearing it, the convertible strap kept slipping out of the loop and getting twisted around. It started poking a hole through the loop. It's too bad, I liked everything else about this bra. If the straps weren't convertible, it would have worked great.

I love this bra! First of all, I have to say, I'm a 32DDD/32F but for a long time I've been wearing a 34DD/36D because it's all they had at Victoria's Secret. But since I've gone to get my bra fitted at a lingerie store with specialty sizes, I learned that I'm a 32DDD and NO, your sister size is not good enough. (34DD is the "sister size" to 32DDD but it is still a tad ill-fitting.) So when I went back to the specialty shop for a racerback bra after having great success with my first well-fitting bra, size 32DDD from Simone Perele, they let me try on the Chantelle Icone Basic Spacer bra in 34DD, which I thought looked good in the store, after a few wears, my boobs still looked a tad unsupported. I thought I just didn't like Chantelle bras and thought Chantelle didn't go up to size 32DDD. Unfortunately, Simone Perele doesn't make racerback bras in my size, so I turned to Chantelle, and I was ecstatic when I found this bra in 32DDD and it is perfect!! It is cute, gives me even better lift than my beloved Simone Perele and is completely hidden under all the racerback tanks I wear. Love! Will definitely purchase more Chantelle bras in the future. I wear Chantelle bras exclusively. I love pretty bras and I'm not too worried about lace showing thru my clothes. But I've been looking for a tee shirt bra but I don't like the feel of hard cups that I've tried before and I don't need fillers, cookies or anything that adds to my 32G. This bra has soft cups which are thin and breathe. I also like the moveable straps. I just started wearing tank and cut away tops and it's nice getting those straps out of the way. That said, it's plain, not pretty but I realize that's the price to pay for a smooth looking chest. One thing I really like is that, unlike all/most other 32G it's a 2-hook closure. Chatelle's spacer bra is lightweight and comfortable for a summer t-shirt bra. I purchased this style in both nude and black because it is breathable in hot weather. the material is not very thick so if modesty is an issue with certain garments consider one of the slightly more padded Chantelle silhouettes or wear silicone nips. Great fit, not high under the arms, fairly low in the middle for a non-plunge bra and best of all it has straps that convert to inset so I can wear it with my tank tops. I wish the fabric were a little thicker for modesty but other than that it is very soft and comfortable. Nice everyday, natural shape, not much cleavage. It could have a little more oomph. Very seamless. I did end up returning it and went with the Chantelle Icone Convertible Bra instead because the cup material was thicker and I worry about show through. I really love this bra. Since my "enhancement", I have had difficulty finding bras that fit properly. This one fits great, and gives a natural-looking, rounded appearance, which I really like. Some of the European manufacturers bras seem to create more of a separated, pointed appearance which I'm not so fond of. The rhinestone "C" in the middle helps to keep it from looking matronly, but I wish they would offer more feminine colors, like pink and the saturated teal and purple tones. This is a very comfortable and supportive bra. I have two and will probably order another. It is fairly low cut which will enable you to wear it with a variety of tops. Chantelle is a company that rarely disappoints. Gives a natural shape under clothing and not like wearing armor like the "Body Sculpt" model. This bra is comfortable, pretty, and doesn't make me a weird shape. Bra shopping has been a nightmare for me ever since I grew out of the DD range, which was about 5 years ago.
