This is a beautiful bra. Unfortunately, it did not fit. I wear a 32G in Fantasie; 4520(i think) but I was disappointed to find out that the Chantelle 3581 is the equivalent of two sizes too small in the cups, and there is not a larger option. I just wish that more bra manufacturers would make bras for girls my size. Halee from Arkansas,US

Didn't like the overall fit of the bra on my petite frame. Doesn't fit as well as the Marie Jo avero does. Returned them the next day.

Has too much padding

Chantelle Response: 3581 is a T-shirt bra that has a foam cup but is not considered padded. Most T-shirt bras have a foam cup to provide invisibility and shaping. Heather

I should have returned this sad excuse for a bra, but I was in desperate need of a new one and didn't want to wait another week+ for a replacement. It offers no support in the band or in the straps. The straps were WAY too long for a 32 band size. Even at the smallest adjustment, it felt as if I weren't wearing a bra at all, and I had to alter them. The band is super stretchy, and I had to use the smallest size when I first put it one, which I never do for a 32. After just a few wears, there is a hole in the meshy side. Aside from the fit problems, this bra is NOISY. I can hear it every time I move, which makes for some awkward moments around other people.

Chantelle Response: The noise could be because the wires are sewn into the channel to tight. This does not effect the fit of the bra at all. This consumer most likely needs a bra with fuller coverage like a 3286 Chantelle T-shirt bra. This bra has a power mesh back which offers additional support and firmness. I decided I would try something different and I thought by paying a lot more I would get better quality, but I found this bra to be scratchy and itchy and left red marks on my body. I was going to call and complain but, I just decided to drop it and never buy another one. I'm glad I received your Review and Rating email. Thanks.

This bra did not work for me. I was measured last year so I knew that 36H was my size. I had read good reviews on this bra so I thought I would give it a try. I wore it for 2 days and the results were this: It was scratchy, it rubbed on the side which resulted in slight blisters, and my breast were coming out from the bottom. I tried different adjustments but to no avail. This bra wasn't for me.

HerRoom Response: It sounds like the cups are too small, or you are not putting your breasts into the cups once you attach your bra. You need to lean forward and allow your breast to fall into the cups to fill them.

Chantelle Response: When the customer says her breast were coming out of the bottom the cup this means the cup size was too small. The breast tissue should fully contained in the cup. My favorite bra. I have it in brown, black, nude and pink! Great support. Fits very nicely and comfortably. The cut is low enough for V cut but I never feel like I'm going to fall out like a demi cup. The straps are so sexy and pretty I don't mind if they show. The side material is pretty too. The padding is just right not too much but enough where you don't have to wear pedals. Never discontinue this model please! seton from La Habra, CA, USA

For the price, I was expecting something a bit sturdier but this bra was just too flimsy for me. The band stretched WAY too much and this particular style did not give me the support I wanted. The racerback option was difficult to unhook once the bra was on, too. I returned this one promptly. I prefer the Elomi brand bras.

I agree with some of the other reviews in that it feels like the girls are going to the side vs. forward. I also agree that the cups are a bit big too. However, my biggest complaint is that this bra "squeaks" a lot. I've had this bra since August and I'm really not happy with it and don't wear it often due to the above problems. That's disappointing to say the least. Won't buy another one.

I have very narrow shoulders and large breasts and this optional racerback metal clip system is incredible!!! The metal slips can be positioned according to the garment I am wearing with innumerable options. Please, Chantelle, use this option on more of your bras, especially the Chantelle bras that are not contoured-type bras (i.e., Model 3582 and 3661). My only drawback to this bra is that I do not like contour-type bras. RL

This bra fits well. The band stretches a bit more than most, which means I am hooking it on the tightest fit and am concerned that it will stretch to a point of not fitting well, but otherwise it is a well constructed/fitting bra. Bev from Blackstone, MA, US

Very pretty bra, but I have to agree with other reviewers that it gives a bit of an odd shape, pulling the girls off to the sides instead of directing them straight forward. Had to return it, which is too bad since it is hard to find pretty bras in my size. Sigh.

Great bra for me. I own it in tan and black. However, they do have a slight pattern on them. I find the pattern on the tan one shows up under my clingiest white tank. The hook to make it a racer back is clever and useful. However, it is hard to get it hooked and on correctly. Pamela from Florida

I bought this bra to replace the 2596, which is discontinued. The bra itself was much larger than the 2596 and although I ordered the same size, it didn't fit at all (way too big in the cups). Going to order a size down and see if that helps. Beth from New York, NY

This bra is a very, VERY small 34H. I'd say it's much more of a 34F. It's much, much smaller than the elomi's version of an H cup. after all the wonderful reviews, I was really excited to try Chantelle.... but this bra is getting returned and I'll purchase elomi, as usual.

HerRoom Response:You may not know this, but many manufacturers call your cup size by other letters. For instance, some manufacturers refer to a G Cup as an F cup, or an FF cup, and even other letters. If you need help deciphering what your cup size is in a particular brand, please see our size conversion chart , which lists each brand's cup sizing protocol.

Cute however it seemed to separate my breasts off to the side and didn't give enough lift for my liking. I like the Chantelle's 2575 Essensia T-shirt bra much better- it pulled my girls closer together and gave a bit of lift and it wasn't as heavy of a bra. Faith from Dearborn Heights MI
