This bra runs slightly small, and unfortunately the strap are rather uncomfortable. I purchased this bra with high hopes... It's just ok.

Chantelle Response: Rive Gauche Style 3086 is a demi shape which offers less coverage on the top of the cup. If you run full in the cup you may have to go up a cup size to get a better fit. We would suggest a full coverage T-shirt style like Chantelle Rive Gauche Full Coverage T-Shirt Bra 3286 or Chantelle Pure Full Coverage Convertible T-Shirt Bra 3616 Which will offer more coverage. I found this bra to run large in the band. I'm a 32C in just about everything, but in that size on this bra the band was only tight enough on the tightest hook, leaving no room for adjustment later. I went down a band size and up a cup size (to 30D) and it fits perfectly. I think the bra itself is beautiful. The only thing that I'd change is the scratchy tag in the back and the lace on the underside of the cups, which sometimes rubs against my ribs and irritates my skin. These are minor complaints, though. For a bra that's not padded, the shape is really nice. Don't expect the results of a push-up bra...you'd need an actual push-up bra for that effect. sarah1 from St. Louis, MO

Pretty & sexy but it makes me look flat chested. Not worth the money. Trisha from Mundelein, IL USA

This is my 3rd bra in this style. I love it - the lace means it comfortable and doesn't stretch out, and the style fits most of my clothes, even the more low-cut tops. This is my go-to bra. Hadley from Denver, CO

This bra is great for thin t-shirts. However, I found though there is no show through, it does NOT hug my body as firmly as their bras with no light padding. The bra sits slightly off my chest giving it a shelf look to it. I did keep this bra because it is acceptable, but I am still hopeful that they will put out a t-shirt bra with NO padding.

Chantelle Response: If the bra sita away from you chest and the cups do not sit against the chest wall than the cups are to small. We suggest going down a back size and up a cup size. If you do not want any padding try Chantelle's C Chic Sexy Spacer Foam T-Shirt Bra 3585. Spacer fabric is thin and light with nice shaping, support and it's breathable. Janet from South Carolina

I wear the Panache Porcelain Molded Seamless Underwire Bra, but wanted some variety in my styles so I tried the Chantelle Rive Gauche T-Shirt Bra. It is absolutely fantastic, too! It is a more feminine looking bra, but provides the same great support that I need. I have heavy breasts that are shallower in the top half and this bra provide great lift and shape. It was comfortable all day long, too. I will buy more! Her Room Fan from Roanoke/Virginia/USA

The bra did not fit correctly. The sides of the cup protruded out. It was made beautifully. The quality was excellent. I gave it to my granddaughter.

Chantelle Response: Chantelle Rive Gauche style 3086 is a Balconette or demi shape offering lower coverage. We would suggest trying Chantelle Rive Gauche 3286 T-Shirt bra which offers more coverage than 3086. Maryann from Carmel, New York

The cups run small. I'd have needed this in the same band size but with a bigger cup, though 32E almost always works for me. But even if it had fit I still wouldn't like it. The cup shape was kind of pointed, and I like lift. This was almost a minimizing style.

Chantelle Response: The Chantelle E cup is a DD (UCS D2) in US sizing. if you are wearing a British brand their E is a 3D/F (UCS D3) in US sizing which could explain why the cup was small. The cup shape on style 3086 is a Demi cup could also explain why it seemed small. If the cup was small on you it would create an almost minimizing affect. We would suggest try Chantelle C Chic Sexy 3585 Spacer T-shirt bra. Debra from Austin, TX

This bra is comfortable, sexy, and invisible under anything I wear. I like the double straps and the little stitching on it. It's really cute peeking out of my tank tops. I love it so much I own it in 5 colors. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Bought it for my fiancee. It's comfortable, fits well, hides well under clothing, and looks exceptionally beautiful. She went up one band size from her usual size. A perfect gift! Scott from Richmond, VA

Beautiful and supportive. Gives a good silhouette under a t-shirt but not a boring t-shirt bra. Not the most comfortable, hence 4 stars, but I have several and will continue to purchase them. MB from chicago, IL

Pretty and sexy, two rare qualities for a t-shirt bra, especially in my cup size! Also, this gives a slight push-up effect, not obnoxious but subtle, and the cups are cut so that you could wear a fairly low, square or vee neckline without the bra showing. Love it! APK from Columbus OH

After many attempts to purchase the perfect female companion...( bra ) From online I was happiest with this one. It's great! Your customer service is generally fine. I must say wow grateful I am for your efforts on this website. A proper formed bra is crucial. One concern. I received this model bra with the wrong size. I ordered a 32F and got 32DD.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry if you received the wrong size. Your order shows you ordered a 32F. Please contact us for an exchange. Thank you. Anna from Beloit, WI USA

This bra fits great! It gives you a slight lift, but not to the point where you have too much cleavage. It looks great under thin t-shirts and tank tops. Chantelle has the best bras in my opinion, and this one did not disappoint! Ashley from Washington, DC

Obsessed with this bra! I have an impossible time finding bras because, at only 5'1," my torso is narrow, but my bust is the size of an average woman's chest. The narrow torso means that my breasts are usually closer together than the underwire, creating an uncomfortable/unattractive overflow issue in the center, and the underwire almost always extends into my armpits, which is painful and useless. I thought that having a 30 inch band would eliminate the narrow boobs problem, but sometimes the 30 inch bands still have wide cups on them, which boggles my mind. This bra, though, nails it! The center part of the band (between my boobs) is the perfect length and, for the first time in my life, actually rests on the skin rather than hanging an inch or more away from my skin, suspended by the inner part of my boobs. And, like a 30 inch band should command, the cups are narrower than the cups on a "normal" bra - just like we petite ladies need! Finally, the material, shape, and flexibility of the cups are exactly what I was looking for. The cups are just thick enough to prevent nipple shows and smooth enough for thin clothing to hang as it should on the body without catching on the bra's material. The shape of the cups is very natural - no cone-shaped or flimsy "do nothing for me" cups. The cups are molded to the shape my boobs were in college...I mean, isn't that the shape we all want?!?! As someone whose breasts are "bottom heavy" (the woman who fit me at a specialty bra store used that phrase...her euphemism for saggy, but I like it), this bra put my breasts back where they belong without making me look like a porn star, which push-up bras tend to do because of my short stature. The molding is soft, so the breasts pass the "hug test," my test where you press down on your breasts, in the bra, and see if they feel crunchy or foamy. If you are petite in frame and have saggy breasts, buy this!! I've never write reviews and made an exception for this bra because it is so phenomenal and because the reviews of others helped me make this choice. If I had to give the bra makers one critique it would be to make the back part of the band with the "U-shape" that some of the other companies are doing, in order to hide back flab, which, even at 105lbs, I've got...grumble.
