Lovely bra, but the 38 dimension seemed tight. ALso, the bridge between the two cups feels narrow, or the cups are too closely spaced for me, and therefore the side wire digs into the side of my breast. As a true 38 with wide-spaced breasts, this is not the best bra for me. Perhaps a better pick for a woman whose 38" is all across her back. sp from Scottsdale AZ USA

This is my most confortable bra. The straps stay up, the sides don't get bunched up and I generally forget I'm wearing it. I am petite and I lie that the sides fit well enough not to climb into my armpit during the day. My favorite bra! Susan from Jacksonville, FL, USA

This bra runs slightly small, and unfortunately the strap are rather uncomfortable. I purchased this bra with high hopes... It's just ok.

Chantelle Response: Rive Gauche Style 3086 is a demi shape which offers less coverage on the top of the cup. If you run full in the cup you may have to go up a cup size to get a better fit. We would suggest a full coverage T-shirt style like Chantelle Rive Gauche Full Coverage T-Shirt Bra 3286 or Chantelle Pure Full Coverage Convertible T-Shirt Bra 3616 Which will offer more coverage. I found this bra to run large in the band. I'm a 32C in just about everything, but in that size on this bra the band was only tight enough on the tightest hook, leaving no room for adjustment later. I went down a band size and up a cup size (to 30D) and it fits perfectly. I think the bra itself is beautiful. The only thing that I'd change is the scratchy tag in the back and the lace on the underside of the cups, which sometimes rubs against my ribs and irritates my skin. These are minor complaints, though. For a bra that's not padded, the shape is really nice. Don't expect the results of a push-up bra...you'd need an actual push-up bra for that effect. sarah1 from St. Louis, MO

This is my 3rd bra in this style. I love it - the lace means it comfortable and doesn't stretch out, and the style fits most of my clothes, even the more low-cut tops. This is my go-to bra. Hadley from Denver, CO

This bra is great for thin t-shirts. However, I found though there is no show through, it does NOT hug my body as firmly as their bras with no light padding. The bra sits slightly off my chest giving it a shelf look to it. I did keep this bra because it is acceptable, but I am still hopeful that they will put out a t-shirt bra with NO padding.

Chantelle Response: If the bra sita away from you chest and the cups do not sit against the chest wall than the cups are to small. We suggest going down a back size and up a cup size. I wear the Panache Porcelain Molded Seamless Underwire Bra, but wanted some variety in my styles so I tried the Chantelle Rive Gauche T-Shirt Bra. It is absolutely fantastic, too! It is a more feminine looking bra, but provides the same great support that I need. I have heavy breasts that are shallower in the top half and this bra provide great lift and shape. The bra did not fit correctly. The sides of the cup protruded out. It was made beautifully. The quality was excellent. I gave it to my granddaughter.

The cups run small. I'd have needed this in the same band size but with a bigger cup, though 32E almost always works for me. But even if it had fit I still wouldn't like it. The cup shape was kind of pointed, and I like lift. This was almost a minimizing style.

Chantelle Response: The Chantelle E cup is a DD (UCS D2) in US sizing. if you are wearing a British brand their E is a 3D/F (UCS D3) in US sizing which could explain why the cup was small. The cup shape on style 3086 is a Demi cup could also explain why it seemed small. If the cup was small on you it would create an almost minimizing affect.
