I just tried this on from a delivery I got at Nordstrom's (Sorry, Her Room - I just found you!) I'm sending it back because the inner edge of the cups stick out in front and won't lie flat. I tried DDD and F and both of them do this. It looks weird under clothes. If it fit snugly right between my breasts it would be perfect. So now I'm shopping here because there seems to be more selection for my size. Susan from LA

I was looking for a new bra and thought this would be perfect for me, I love minimizers. I read about the creaking and my light bulb went on...I already have this bra, it's been sitting in my drawer untouched for over a year! It does creak (no other bra I have EVER owned has )but what I really dislike about it are the straps. They sit too far out on my shoulders and feel as though they will start slipping down at any moment, it's very uncomfortable. I also found that the D cup is too small for me (although this is my normal size), I feel "squished". Pamela from Oceanside, CA

It seems to uplift better than other bras I own but it gives a very rounded shape. I don't know if it minimizes or just lifts enough to make my clothes fit differently. Will be ordering it in other colors at some time. Barbara from Longmeadow, MA

I wear a lot of knits and tee shirts for my work and I like a very slim, flat look. I am petite (size 4) and like a very classic fit to my clothes . This is the only bra that gives me what I want. It is wonderful under knits, tee shirts or silks. Very tailored look and very comfortable. After years of searching, this is the best. georgia from bucks county PA

Excellent quality, full coverage fit, comfortable, supportable, feminine....love the skin tone color and especially the semi-padded straps that eliminate digging in shoulders like most bras. Would highly recommend. Millie from Gilbertsville, PA

I have now been wearing this bra for well over a year, and I am very happy to report that it not only has held it's shape -- it has NOT stretched out, and continues to maintain excellent support! I have never been this pleased with any bra, and it has broken all records for endurance. Please do not ever discontinue this bra! Susan from Nova Scoltia, Canada

I feel you just can't go wrong with Chantelle bras! They are worth the extra expense. I have never found bras that fit me better. I never knew bras could be so comfortable! Eva K from Hendersonville, NC 28792

I use this style as my "work out" bra because of it's well done support and minimizing properties. Robin

As a person who has had breast enlargement, I purchased this bra (32D) not for minimizing, but for support. I've been fitted as a 32D and wear that size in several other styles/brands, but this one has cups which are slightly larger so I'll be exchanging it for a 32C. The band is also longer than my other bra styles as well. This is a really nice bra; very high quality. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the width of the straps - would love to see this style with thinner ones, but I know that goes along with the support so many need in a minimizer bra. They do add to the comfort level quite a bit, but under a strappy tank they are too bulky looking. Rebecca from San Diego, CA USA

The best fitting underwire minimizer ! The middle section between the cups isn't too wide. This works well for a woman like me who is broad across the back, but narrower across the front. I don't like the "pointy" look so this bra is great for me. Kris

On the good side this bra does it's job as a minimizer.(can't stand the pointy boob look) On the bad side, I did get the creaks that others have mentioned and the underwire digs into me on my ribcage. This bra doesn't seem to have any movement in it. So, it is not the 100% comfortable bra I really wanted it to be. Back to the drawing board. mary from chicago, il

This is one of the few bras that only has three hooks in this size range. It has good support and is very comfortable to wear. Would like to see it in more colors though. Connie from Ronks PA USA

The bra was supportive, but the shape it gave was NOT flattering. The cups give a "pointy" effect. Didn't keep for that reason. kelli from lafayette, IN

Ordered this bra after much research and assessment of customer reviews. I absolutely love it. Very comfortable, great support and definitely minimized. I'd highly recommend it. I was also very pleased with the service/speed from Her Room.com. maria from Clearwater, Florida

Extremely comfortable and good-looking bra, especially for a minimizer. Looks "invisible" under clothes. Michele from Bethesda, MD

I have spent much time and money looking for a bra that fits me. I have found it in the Chantelle Volupte Minimizer. For such a small looking bra with those tiny straps, it must be magical construction because it fits and works for me. JOYCE from OAKLAND, CA

The bra has great support and constructed very well. It has one draw back, if you are large in size, the bra sages because of the weight. It gives a pear like shape under the garment. Faith from Va

I also agree with the large flat pears review! Also, this is going to sound strange, and no one else mentioned it, but the bra is noisy! It makes creaking sounds when I move as it rubs against my body! I know, strange, but true. It does seem to have decent support, but I don't like how it shapes my boobs. Jacey from Arizona, USA

I wanted to like this but the band size is larger than other 32 band sizes. Even at the smallest setting it rode up my back brix from San Francisco, CA

i agree with the reviewer Sarah, two large flat pears happened to me too. I hate how it minimizes.Other than that, it seems like good quality and strong supportive fabric, just the minimizing is horrible.I guess it works good for different shape breasts. sandra from ct
