I purchased this bra based on the reviews at this website, and I'm so glad I did! It is the most comfortable bra I've worn in years. It does minimize, and it gives me some uplift I haven't found with other bras. After a few days my shoulders were a little sore, but that went away. I have ordered two more. This is a very nice bra, very good support (especially for someone as large busted as me) my only complaint is that the wires poked out in the middle front, since it was visible under my clothing I will be exchanging it. Normally wear 32D. Read another customer's review that stated cup ran large so I ordered the C. C cup size is perfect however band size is a bit large. I can comfortably wear it on the third hook. If it stretches much over time I'll have no ability to make it more snug. Otherwise, VERY comfortable and not too matronly in appearance as are many minimizers. Beautifully made. Does not give squished appearance but a natural form. Sanne

This bra has my name on it! Perfect, smooth shaping. Not a wire poking up or out anywhere. Center wires stay flat (the center wires on most minimizers practically poke me in the chin); no cutting in on shoulders; no pinching; no adjustments needed; feels soft on my skin. I love the rounded shape this bra gives me and I find it very comfortable - everything stays where it should. My only gripe would be that the cups stretch out a bit after a couple months so the support is not as good as when new. I prefer a minimizer bra so I ordered this soft molded cut, underwire bra. Chantelle is a brand I have worn in the past, and this style gave me the shape I like, and it fit snuggly around perfectly. However, there is something strange about the design of the bra, perhaps the way the straps are because when I have it on, the bra doesn't stay down. The underwire kept creeping up and I SPENT THE WHOLE DAY pulling it down under my breasts. It was so annoying to me that I left work and ran into Nordstrom and bought myself a decent bra, putting the Chantelle in their garbage! I will continue to order underwear from HerRoom, but will only order bras that I have personally tried on. Dr. P from Utah

Although I only gave this product 3 stars, I will state upfront (no pun intended!) that this is still my favorite minimizer of all bras I've ever tried. It does not rise to the 5 star level, however, because of something I've never seen anyone else mention... and that is that the padded part of the strap basically hits my chest and collarbone, and that the seam connecting the padded part to the thinner part of the strap in the back lies right across my shoulders. I also have to have the strap on its loosest setting, so I can only assume that the strap is not long enough and that the padding in the strap needs to be extended another four inches or so. Additionally, the rib cage measurement seems larger than other Chantelle bras, and I will be exchanging my 36DD for a 34DD. The "flat pears" comments apply to my experiences as well, and the bra also does not have a very padded underwire. At the end of the day, I have red marks on my ribcage from the underwire. However, as stated above, I have found no better alternative, so I keep on with this style.

Chantelle Response: You state that you are tall. Unforuntately, bra straps with padding such as this have limited strap adjustability. Your comment about going from a 36DD to a 34DD (34E) means you will be going down a band size AND a cup size. IF this was not your intention, you should consider a 34DDD (34F) if you wish to maintain your cup volume. Elizabeth from Virginia Beach, VA
