Three-and-a-half stars. Not my favorite since it tends to squash me down from the top and push my breasts toward my armpits. This second effect isn't drastic, though, and I find that it happens with most seamless full-cup bras. I do keep a couple Hedonas in my drawer because with some clothes, she works better than my other bras that push me up and forward. Hedona also makes me look a bit smaller, again more appropriate for certain tops, probably because she doesn't try for maximum projection. I think this is a good bra to have in your collection and one that you might find yourself wearing often because it is fairly comfortable. It is also affordable as Chantelle goes. I was professionally fitted with the Hedona bra several years ago. Since then I find myself wearing this bra instead of some others that I have. It is comfortable and looks good under clothes. It is pricey but seems to hold up under numerous washings. I had two of these bras and just purchased two more. Carol from Illinois

I have worn this particular style for several years. I find it to be extremely comfortable and wears well after a year of careful washings(in cold water and on gentle cycle in a lingerie bag). I personally think it looks nice under all types of clothing-sweaters, blouses, t-shirts,etc marieI from knoxville,tn.usa

This is the best-fitting bra I've ever found. The two things I don't like are that the straps seem to slip off my shoulder a lot and the underwear eventually wears out the fabric at one end and starts working its way out of the bra. Very uncomfortable. Sally from Colorado

I unknowingly purchased this bra, not realizing it was not a padded bra, it will take some adjustment for me, but I found it supportive and the overall fit is good. I did notice after the only day I have worn it so far, that I had red marks where the wires sat. I own 2 other Chantelles and this has never happened so I am hoping this was a one time occurrence. My size is 34DDDD in Chantelle. This bra is wonderful. It is supportive, doesn't make me look like I am wearing a 34DDDD, provides significant modesty except over the thinnest of material. But, I am happy to take it off after a long day of wearing it as the underwire begins to dig in. I had tried Chantelle in the past but was fitted for the wrong size (36DDD). This is the best fitting bra I've ever worn. I only give it 4 stars though because this is the third Hedona bra I've owned where the underwire poked through the top. Obviously this is a manufacturing flaw that should be addressed by Chantelle. Other reviewers have experienced the same problem. Kathryn from Boonton NJ

I love this bra. Several years ago, While being professionally fitted, I found this bra. It is comfortable, supportive, pretty. Although a little pricey, you get what you pay for, and it makes shirts look flattering. I have been purchasing the same style for 4 years now. I love this bra. Great, great support. My breast is much bigger than my chest size and this is the only bra that gives me a good look in sweaters. No droopiness. I do not put my bras in the dryer and I have three of these bras each over two years old and still in excellent shape. Wash in Zero soap on gentle cycle. Elaine from Canada

I, too, really like the fit and look of this bra but have encountered problems with the underwire poking out of the casing, even though I wash the bras in cold water on the gentle cycle and air dry them. It seems that there is a problem with more than just lot 709, which Chantelle has identified below. I don't know that I'll buy more of this style.

I love these bras, and wear them almost exclusively. Have no problems with the wire poking out. However, I do feel that they stretch out very easily with just a bit of wear- and I ALWAYS hang them, and never put in dryer. Put it on in the morning, and it feels bigger by late afternoon- not the cups, but the band. carmen from atlanta

Loved the fit of this bra, and it did fit snugly, but I had the same problem as did many other reviewers. The underwires poked through in a very short time. I never dry my bras in the dryer, so the cause should not have been because the underwire casing had shrunk. I can only surmise that it's due to the manufacturer not sewing enough stitches to close the casing channel. When a bra costs more than $60, alterations should not be necessary. I hesitate to purchase this style again because of the underwire issue, hopefully the manufacturer will take notice and correct the problem.

I'm a 32f in fantasie, 32ddd in wacoal and apparently a 32f in chantelle, but the center front pops out at the top and the sides are really high, high enough to chafe at the juncture of the pectoral and the arm.

HerRoom Response: Your symptom on the underwires popping forward is a sign that you probably need to go up a cup size. If your sides are too high, our guess is that you are short in stature. This is not the bra for you. Consider a demi cup bra which has shorter underwires and will fit you more comfortably.
