Because it is the best under weir bra that you don’t feel the weir at all, it is the most comfortable bra. I have been using it for the last 35 years and I can’t wear nothing ales but this bra. I have been wearing this bra style for over 20 years. I love it. I was so disappointed when it was discontinued serveral years ago. So glad it is back. It's my favorite bra. Great uplift; perfect fit!! The only way it could be better is if they would make it smoother so it could be worn under T-shirts. Janet

Have been wearing Luniare Picadilly for many years and it is finally discontinued. I purchased this bra because of it's interesting pattern and beauty. I love it!! I don't know if the style number 1960 was intended, but it gives my breasts the support and look of the glamour girls of the 1960's! The fit is very comfortable and the extra material in the back smooths out my back so there are no rolls :) This will be my new bra that I hope will be available for many years. I would love if they would make it in beige too! P.S. This style runs a bit smaller than the other Chantelle styles. I am really between a 32 and 34 D and this bra fits perfectly. Andygirl from NY

I had been introduced to the Chantelle 1960 underwire bra perhaps 15-20 years ago. Always white in the department stores. In the last couple of years stores no longer carry white in their Chantelle bras, and the straps and backs (where hooks are) are narrower. I was able to find the white 1960's on your site and will continue to order them from you. I'm just an old fashioned girl and I don't like black bras, unless it's for evening wear and I need the better support in this style. D F from Texas

I have been wearing this bra for over 20 years. In my opinion it is the best fitting bra on the market. In 2000 I had a single mastomectany and tried to wear special bras for that and they just did not fit. This bra fits my prostheses just fine. I absolutely love this bra, but they are becoming hard to find, so I ordered three of them this time. I have worn them for years and they are wonderful! They are extremely comfortable, and fit very well and they last forever! I will probably order three more so that I can have an endless supply. This is the best of any make. My favorite for the past 25 years! So sorry it' disappearing. It really fits. Ordered the 40D instead of the 38 DD, but will go back to the 38DD and stock up before they are completely gone.

I've had my "sweater girl " bra" for over 10 years & would not trade it in! True, you can't wear it with everything, but when you do, gravity is just a word in the dictionary! I'm not sure younger women will fully appreciate this aspect of full support until much later, but believe me, it makes a BIG difference when you are over 45 & need all the help that Mother nature used to provide. As opposed to the picture above, the shape of this bra, and I have met this on other Chantelle bras as well, is like a missile. The cups are HUGE. I could easily have fitted both breast in one cup- had to return it, did not want a replacement. Quite hard and uncomfie material as well. Strange really.

I ordered my usual size (38B) and it was just way too tight in the band and too small in the cup. It gave tremendous support and uplift to my less-than-youthful bosom - impressive. I considered ordering a larger size but didn't, since the fabric seemed a little itchy on my skin - I don't generally like the feel of lace bras but thought I would take a chance on this one since all the reviews were great.
