When are they going to start making longline bras for women over 5'8" tall. All of them including this one stop about 4 inches above the belly button. I'm always having to pull them down when I stand up. Don't they know people are getting taller? Betsy from Nebrasa

Even though this bra is for a full figure, it fits me great even though I am average sized, but full busted. It is comfortable and supportive, both in the bust and back/abdomen. I wear a 34DDD and have a bad back. This is one of the only bras I have that actually makes my back hurt less. I wear it with either control top hose or a girdle to eliminate a bulge at the bottom. My bust actually looks smaller and perkier in this foundation. I hope it is available for a long time. I intend to order more. Jessica from Austin, Tx

The only problem I have with this lovely bra is that the sizing is not true. I have worn a 36DD longline bra for quite some time and the 36 is too small around. I now ordered a 38DD and a 40DD however, one of the bras is not in stock and now I must wait until July 27, 2013, when the bra arrives at your store and they will be shipped together. Comes up a little too high under the arms, fits well in the body - the straps are only wide in front, NOT over the shoulders or down the back where they cut. Why on earth would they only have wide straps in front???

Carnival Response: Based on your complaint it seems you should have tried a 44 in this bra. The armholes and strap length increase incrementally with the back size on this garment. The reason the straps are wide set in front and not the back is a) the support is better for larger cups and b) this make it easier to adjust on the slim band versus the thick. This bra was too small despite other Carnival 40DDD long line bras fitting fine. I have returned it for an exchange to a 42 or 44 (I don't recall which).

Carnival Response: Even within the same brand different bras have different cuts and fit differently. Just because you were a 40DDD in another one of our styles doesn’t mean that this bra will fit you in the same size. Which is also why you want to consider the fact that this is a longline; so it will fit more torso and you may need a different size due to that. Toni from Ozark, MO, USA

Generally, long line bras (including this one) are not long enough. I'm looking for a long line bra that goes below the belly button. This way it would also serve to flatten the stomach. Most long line bras fall just above the belly button and that causes the stomach to poke out. When are the manufacturers going to start making the longline bras truly "long line"?

Carnival Response: This bra as well as almost every long line bra is made to go down to the belly button. If it goes any lower there will be complaints of discomfort when sitting down. Lu from Perth Amboy, NJ, USA

I am very pleased with this bra. It offers great support and the wide straps are and added plus. I am already looking to buy other styles from Carnival. Great price, too! Ashley from San Francisco, CA

I ordered this for my sister she was not satisfied with the support, there was not enough lift with this bra because she is very top heavy. I wll be sending it back.

Carnival Response: We have been manufacturing this bra for over 30 years and this is the first complaint we have received about the support this bra offers. It is specifically made for larger top heavy women. Mildred from Milwaukee, milw

Love the straps...but the bra is not long enough.

Carnival Response: All of our longline bras are designed to go to the belly button area. On an average height woman this is where the bottom band will lay. SW from Chas., SC

They are in the mail for an exchange. They are longer than the syle that I had been ordering making them too long for my petite torso. They are too lacy. The longline lace was directly against the skin on my torso and was very scratchy. Donna from CA USA

Very beautiful, well made and comfortable. However, I made a mistake in ordering one that fastens in the back. If you are my age, you probably need one that fastens in the front. Dorothy from McKinney, Texas, Collin County
