Bad fit over my size, shape breasts. Didn't work for me at all.

Carnival Response: It seems that you do not know your correct size. I noticed that you bought style 511 in a different size and you weren’t happy with that bra either. It is very important to have yourself professionally fitted. You will avoid having to buy different sizes to find a bra that fits you correctly. penny from berger

Love the way it fits, the lace is a little itchy. Have to really get used to it.

Carnival Response: Since the lace on this bra is embroidered it is much thicker by nature. It softens up after washing. Patti from Longview,TX

Not a good fit for a larger cup size. The cup size is inadequate and it certainly is not a minimizer bra.

Carnival Response: With a minimizer many times the cups seem smaller since the function of the bra is to flatten and separate your breasts. pat from jacksonville FL

poor quality...sorry.

Carnival Response: We are very surprised to hear that you did not like the quality of the bra. We at Carnival take great pride in our quality control. Unfortunately since this comment is a very general comment we cannot address your concerns in detail. Anne-marie from Stamford, CT

It is beautiful but it does not cover me adequately. I only tried it on but I did not wear it.

Carnival Response: Being that you are tall we would suggest a size 44C. Gloria from San Jose, CA

Great in concept and comfy but the band is a bit loose. I am considering whether I can move the hooks inward somehow with my sewing machine....

Carnival Response: I would suggest you try a 32D, I believe it will work better for you. es from dallas tx

Not really a minimizer bra. Did not fit properly. the cups were smaller than DD and the elastic around the bra was stretched. I ordered 38 and I think it was more like 42!

Carnival Response: With a minimizer many times the cups seem smaller since the function of the bra is to flatten and separate your breasts. Grace

I had multiple fit problems with this bra. The band size was a bit large, I had to fasten it on the smallest hooks, and it still felt loose. Although I knew it was a minimizer bra, my breasts fit too far under my arms for comfort. The cups felt oddly sized, as my breasts didn't fit completely in them and I had spillage in the top and front and extra room in the sides of the cup. I also had trouble with the cup lifting from the bottom. The bra is very pretty and the straps are well done. Although I measured, and bought the size recommended, I did not get a good fit from this bra and had to return it. This website has many styles to chose from, and I have had good luck with several other purchases, so I will continue to shop here. Also customer service is very good, which is very important to me.

Carnival Response: You should be buying this style in 38DD. 38DD and 40D are cross sizes and sometimes can be mistaken for the same measurements. melanie from rochester n y

Soft, comfortable yet nice fit. An almost demi cup with lovely lace and satiny fabric. True 38D and room to adjust out or in for a closer fit. Kyra from New Jersey

The bras are comfortable and attractive. They run true to size and are very affordable. I will buy from this website in the future. Geraldine from Texas

This Carnival bra runs rather large. The 36C I ordered was too big. The shiny material looks cheap. It is not a very pretty bra.

Carival Response: This is the first comment Carnival has seen about this particular style running large. Minimizers by definition are made to give the illusion of less tissue in the breast. This usually leads to women commenting that they run small. Your comment is rather unusual considering this bra is in fact a minimizer. Darra from Bangkok, Thailand

I can't recommend this. It was uncomfortable and the wire poked out after three washes.

Carnival Response:The care instructions on the bra call for hand washing and hang drying. Although it does not usually happen, machine washing multiple times can cause the underwire to poke out in the bra. Holly from Edmond, Ok

Did anything but minimize; more of a push up than a minimizer. Returned both bras.

Carnival Response:Minimizers work by separating the breasts and pushing the extra breast tissue to the sides. If this garment is not worn properly it can have the affect of a push up. Susan from Alpine, CA, USA

The bra is cute and well made but I had to return it. Alas the balcony was on the low side and my breasts were spilling over, not a good look unless you're going to a Renaissance Fair! Lisa from Hollywood CA

The bra appeared to be well constructed with one exception no quality control on sizing. Even though the label read 34C the bra that arrived was at least a 38D.

Carnival Response:This bra might have been mis-marked. Carnival would be happy to take this back and send you a new one. Barbara from Virginia

I'm still getting used to the sexier cup shape and straps that are further apart. But the measurements were dead on and it's comfortable. I've not allowed myself such a feminine sexy bra in decades and am loving it. Since it wasn't very expensive, it let me try this style out and I'm now willing to consider other less boring bras too. Too small cup size. I feel that I need to go up two more cup sizes to a 34E.

Carnival Response:We haven't had any comments before about this bra running small. This is a minimizer bra so it will fit a bit snug in order to reduce the size of your breasts. We would recommend getting fitted to confirm that your bra size is correct. Miss Khawar from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan

I washed this bra once and both of the under wires came out.

Carnival Response:We are not sure how you washed this bra, but please keep in mind that these bra's need to be hand washed and hung dry. Monica from Lawrence, KS

I just lost several pounds and needed a smaller bra. I have always worn the "industrial" ones. I took a chance on this one because I would like to look slightly smaller and I thought it was pretty. I wore it to work to find out if I would be comfortable in it for a long period of time. I was very impressed. I recommend buying it slightly smaller. I think I could have worn a 40B. This would have fit nicely and been one of the only minimizer's that was actually pretty (very pretty) except for that darn seam on the cup that bumped out and made the bra lumpy under my shirt. Lonnie from Pittsburgh

I was very disappointed with this bra. The sides of the bra rolled almost as soon as I put it on, which is a problem I have always had. I won't be buying another one.

HerRoom Response: Typically, when a band is rolling, this is a sure sign that you need to go up a band size or two.

Carnival Response: I haven’t heard of this happening. It seem you have had this problem before. This leads me to believe that it is not a problem with our bra but you maybe be wearing the wrong size. YDD from IN
