As almost everyone else has commented, this bra was not true to size. I normally wear 32DDD, and in this bra would have needed a 30 or maybe even a 28. The bra was attractive, very smooth, and comfortable. It was the only bustier out of three that I ordered that didn't show under my satin wedding gown. It was also the best made out of the three Carnival bras I ordered. It was also the only one with smooth cups that didn't create a duck boob effect. It has even, smooth, and very light padding across the cups. I haven't tried it on in the correct size yet, but I suspect that I will also need to go down one cup size more than usual, not just band size.

The construction was good overall, but I felt that my breasts looked even larger when wearing this bra. I had hoped for a fit that kept my breasts closer to my chest, but the bra maximized my shape. I had to return it.

This garment is pretty true to size; however, it didn't cinch nearly enough for me, if at all. I exchanged it for the next band size down.

Carnival Response: Every woman has a unique shape. Every bra style fits differently (even different styles from the same manufacturer fit differently). This uniqueness is even more pronounced when it comes to wearing a torsolette since they not only have to fit the breasts and upper back of a woman, but they deal with the stomach, waist, and lower back as well. The bra was the worst thing I ever bought, I hope I get my money back, there was no support at all it was a wast of my time.

Carnival Response: It is impossible that a bra of this construction could have "no support at all". This bra is constructed with boning across the whole width of the body, a back closure all the way up to the armpits, and full coverage cups. The only way that a bra of this construction would not give you the desired support would be if you were wearing either a cup or band size that was too big. Based on your comment you should have either gone down a cup size or a band size. This torsolette was pretty and comfortable, but was a little too long in the torso for my petite, short-waisted frame. Moreover, it didn't offer as much support for my large bust as I was hoping. I returned it since it didn't work for me.

It just did not fit around the waist/chest. I do not know if it was mis-sized or the sizing is off. I have experienced size problems with many garments on line. It is the biggest issue of ordering on line. There just does seem to be uniformity in sizing. On line shopping offers a consumer a large choice. Cups where much to big. Top edge of bra was buckled and stuck out inches from chest. Body was not tight enough. Can't possibly wear this and will be returning it.

Absolutely no support. The boning was extremely flimsy, and buckled under the weight of my breasts. The cups were pushed away from my body and laid almost completely horizontally. This is NOT a good fit for larger breasted women.

Carnival Response: When wearing this or any corset you should put the corset on fully and then bend over while pulling the cups forward. Once you straighten your body up, your breasts will fill the cup entirely from the top down and you will not have the illusion or feeling of cups leaning forward. I bought this bustier to wear under my wedding dress for my wedding next summer. It is the best fitting bustier I have tried on! I wear a 32DDD - the cup size is perfect and the amount of boning fully supports my chest. Even though I ordered a 32, I found the size around to still be a bit big. The item did not provide the support I was looking for. I accidentally ripped the tags from the garment while trying it on. Unfortunately I am now unable to return or exchange the item and am unable to use it as well. If I were given the option to return it I would go up one cup size. Liz from VA

For me, a 40DDD did not fit well. Under my breasts there was a lot of bunching. Perhaps it is best for smaller breast sizes. Other than that, it was comfortable. There was no poking, pinching or sliding. Ruth from Yeadon

Terrific! Comfortable and incredibly flattering. Bought it to wear under a bridesmaids dress with a low back but so glad I did for wearing with other things. My only criticism is that the cups do look a little strange when you put it on. However, they seem to be fine underneath clothing. The fabric is soft and it seemed relatively comfortable, but the cups just didn't offer enough support for someone with a larger bust. I felt like it should have been more stiff or supportive or something. I think the band size also runs a bit large compared to some. I'm usually between a C and D in cup size and the C fit fine.

True fit and very nice, soft fabric. I ended up returning this item only because one I had my wedding dress fitting, the seamstress opted for me to go without a bra, due to the corsette style of my dress. I bought this to "smooth" under a silver satin bridesmaids dress. These run BIG. I usually wear a 38B bra. I had to go with a 36A, and hook it on the innermost hooks. Good support, didn't feel like I had to pull at it/adjust it all day. Rebecca from Wilmington, DE

Great support; comes with option of removable convertible straps and removable garter clips. Boning may be a bit bulky or visible in thinner and tighter wedding or other gowns, but this is still me favorite of the other choices i tried. Dina from Columbus, OH

Love It!! I bought this item to wear under my strapless wedding gown. It is so soft and lightweight! Proves that definition and support do not require discomfort to accomplish. Unlike others that I tried, this bra disappeared under my dress and will not become an "unwelcome guest" at the wedding --ever present and in my thoughts. When I received the bra, the cups were a bit deformed, like a padded bra after you wash it several times. I think this fit a bit bigger than the actual size and the cups barely did anything. It's hard to find a good bra when you're an odd size. I did not think this bra would be smooth under my wedding dress, so I've returned in exchange for something else. Mary Lou from Stow, OH USA

Fits well . . . very soft/smooth. Did not care for the boning, which shows through and creates odd lines. A little loose in my opinion for a 38. Cups are not very supportive for heavy breasts. Meg from PA
