I kept this bra because I have had such difficulty finding a long line bra that fits, but I do have issues with it. I don't like the cup construction: too loose and unsupportive. Gives a lumpy silhouette under clothing. I wish the cups were more sturdy. I love that it zips up in front, as I have shoulder problems and can't do up a back closure bra. It doesn't seem to zip up far enough so the cups are too far apart, leaving the cups sort of gaping open and protruding outward rather than laying against my chest. I love the length of this bra - it comes down past my lower pouch, keeping that nicely in control, and leaves no hip or fanny bulges. I found the compression of the corseting to be comfortable, and it gave an unexpected support to my lower back, thus relieving some of the pain I suffer there. However, there are too many scratchy spots (seams, etc) that chafed my skin.
The straps are soft enough for my shoulders, but they don't stay up, and they cut in a bit in the front by my armpits so I took them off. Unfortunately, without the straps, the cups are even more useless! Also, after wearing it only twice, one of the stays has popped through the casing! I now have a red bruise on the underside of my breast from that. I still gave this 3 stars because this bra does have promise. I'm a very difficult fit, so other ladies may not have the problems I'm having with it.
Carnival Response: We are very happy that you enjoyed this bra. As you can see by other reviews, it is a very successful bra for us. From your description, your difficulties were probably as a result of the cups being a little big on you. I would suggest you try a 40C. It would probably serve you much better.
