Calida Etude Spaghetti Camisole 11320 Reviews

I liked the camisole, but it is not really a S. I ordered another camisole by Calida from you and noticed that the European size on the package said 40-42, which is by no means a Small. A Small would be 36-38. I kept both items because I guess there was no Calida item that was petite. I do like the quality of Calida and always bought it when I lived in Germany.

Calida Response: There must have been a sizing issue with your order, because a small should not have been a 40-42. This style does come in an XS which would fit a size 4-6 customer. Gisela from Silver Spring Md

Very good fit. Nice material. I'm not fond of stretchy materials. Prefer cozy cotton and this one comes close to that old fashioned feeling of real cotton. I'm a petite so it is long on me but I can live with that. Roslyn

I love this camisole. I bought one in white last summer while in Germany, and when I got home I wished I had also bought one in black. I am very small-chested, and most bras are too roomy. The camisole doesn't provide much support, but it's a perfect layer under a shirt or tight fitting sweater, and because it's made of cotton as opposed to lycra/spandex, it does not irritate my skin. Very comfortable and lightweight - great for travel (I hate wearing bras, especially when I travel). It does run slightly large - my torso is average size (36B bra and wear size 6-8 shirts); would normally buy a "M." Thanks to the previous reviews, I bought the "Small" and it fits well. Love this cami! I was looking for a simple cotton piece to wear under some sheer blouses. It's very comfortable, true to size, and has just a tiny bit of spandex to hold it's shape. The length is great and does not ride up. The lace is not irritating and looks pretty under clothing. The cami straps are placed just right to cover bra straps. Kathleen from Rowlett, Texas

Comfortable cotton camisole with lace top. I had to return it because the lace gaped at the sides. I ordered large; perhaps I should have ordered medium. I ended up with a different Calida cotton camisole that I liked better, item # 11638, which has no lace and no gape.

I have searched and searched for a pure cotton camisole that would be stylish, cool, and comfortable in the summer. I just discovered Calida and absolutely love the feel of these garments. I also admire the ethic. I have determined that, whenever possible, I will go green and buy items that embody a value system I can endorse. Calida comes from a country that doesn't exploit labor, makes a high quality garment, and is made of 100% cotton. I ordered this camisole in both black and white and would have bought other colors, as well.
