This bra is sized as if they took a 32a and put longer straps on the back -- not really proportioned to a size 38. Cups are too close together. And though the cotton feels great, once again they decide to line the cups with nylon, which is beyond ridiculous. If I spend extra for a cotton garment, I expect it to be all cotton. A huge disappointment.

Calida Response: I’m sorry you had a bad experience with our Calida bra. There could be several reasons why this bra did not work for you. This Pure bra fits more like a demi or a half cup. The bra cup is meant to be low cut giving you a smooth look for more plunging necklines. This is why you may think that the cups are too small. Without actually seeing you in person, you could very well be a 36C. This would give you a tighter back which gives you the support and a fuller, wider cup. As far as the lining construction of the bra, those decisions are made by the technical designers in regards to what or what does not work. I purchased this bra in black and really liked it, but found another one by Hanro that was less attractive than this one but slightly more comfortable. great bra, would have kept it otherwise. it is comfortable, made of mostly cotton (important to me), offers good underwire support and a good shape under tops. ya from los angeles

I was so excited to find a cotton bra in my size! But the garment was too small, a size 38 should not be as tight as a 34 (which it was), the reason for buying cotton is to have it against your skin, on this garment the cups are lined in nylon, completely negating the purpose! I am returning this garment, obviously I was disappointed in everything about it. Also, it took more than four weeks to ship. A disappointing experience all around.
