I tried several nursing bra brands, including Bravado, Anita, and Elomi. I was a 34D prior to being pregnant, 36DD while pregnant, and 36G while nursing. The Bravado Bliss squished my boobs together uncomfortably. The Anita bras felt like torture devices & the extra support strap got in the way of my nursing pads. The Elomi ran huge to size. In all, I've tried close to 15 nursing bras and this is the only "keeper" I've found. It's still comfortable after 12 hours of wearing it. Runs true to size and fit guide, except the band recommended a 38 which was loose. I'm at 36 middle hook very comfortably. K

the best nursing bra of the 5 that I have tested... it is a little stiff but it looks and feels nice the other 90% of the day when I am not nursing... Carrie from NY

This bra either runs really small, or the cups are designed in a way that made me spill out in every way. I decided to go with another bra all together since it seemed like it was going to be an "OK" bra anyway. Not sure my review will help since it never fit properly to begin with. GP11 from Houston, TX

I was very excited about this bra, but was sadly disappointed when i tried it on. The underwire did not go all the way up the outside of the cup, so it finished about an inch and half from the material, which caused a terrible shape with boobs spilling over the edge. It was also abit on the small size which did not help. I was a 30E before pregnancy, so i thought this would definitly fit as i have also purchased the Anita bra in a 32 F and still have room to grow. Also the inside of the cup pushed down abit on my boobs causing the shape to look too spread out. I'm used to wearing Panache pre-pregnancy so am used to a nice rounded up front shape. So i'm yet to find the right prenancy/breast feeding bra!

Bravado Response: The Allure Underwire Nursing Bra was designed by and recommended by healthcare professionals. It was designed with breast health as the #1 focus. Wide underwire channel is for support, not for push up. Shorter underwire is to ensure no pressure is placed on milk ducts Not all bras fit the same- you may be in a different size in a different bra as it is make of different materials, different style and for a different purpose. If a bra is fitted correctly your breasts should fall half way between your shoulder and your elbow. There should be no pressure or ‘spillage’ at the sides or in the front or top of the bra (If you are experiencing ‘spillage’ and pressure anywhere in the cup, the bra is too small) Sharon from santa Cruz, CA USA

This didn't fit right. It was too small for a 34G. Also, it didn't support under the arm very well.

Bravado Response: Depending on what your pre-pregnancy size was and at what point you were measured during your pregnancy, it is likely you are in the wrong size. You could also try The Bliss Nursing Bra 125 which doesn't have any underwire and offers a flexifit channel instead. It also has a more generous volume in the cup than Allure. Dulcy from California

The cups were too small for me. But it looked like it could have been something I would really like. Working Mom

Very pretty bra, but the bra came up too high at the front bones so it would show in tops and summer dresses! Love the lacy sides! Kate from Texas

This bra is great! I have a lot from the bravado line and was so happy they came out with an underwire. This is a great back to work bra or wear after nursing for a little while. Bought the panties as well what a great set! Another winner bravado thanks! Claudia from NYC

I struggled with how many stars to give this bra because I really *want* to love it... I just don't. It gives me great shape and support, which is WAY more than I can say for any other nursing bra I've tried, but the fit is just not that great for me and it's not super comfortable. The lace around the ribcage and back is kind of itchy. I will continue to wear it because it's the best I have and it looks great under clothing, but I'll hope for something better to come along. I also agree with the original poster-- I wish they made it in nude. Jamie from Washington, DC

I wanted something that is padded, uplifting, cute, and easy to use. This bra fulfilled a couple of those guidelines. It seems to run small for anyone with larger breasts because when I haven't nursed in awhile I can definitely spill over the cup. It also shows my nipples which I was trying to avoid by getting a padded bra. I still haven't found a nursing bra that can do that. But it does support very well for me being rather busty and it does look really pretty on. My husband really likes the new bravado bras!

It looks smooth under clothes but will show through a white or light colored shirt. It's definitely not a nude color which I wished they made. Also, it's easy to unsnap and fold down for nursing and easy to hook back. All in all, a pretty good bra but not great. I might buy it again in black because it's better than the soft cups I have but I'd like to find something that covers better. Allison from TN, USA
